Hay guys. Just wanted to let you know I got promoted (I think), and I've been saving up to fill up our guild hall and get more members. Is this good? y/n Or do you guys like having just us in it and being just a small casual guild? I mean I think we should atleast have a skill guy. But that's just my opinion, tell me what you think.

Doesn't matter to me, one way or the other. I've never cared much about GvG, so recruiting was never a big deal.

As for trainers et al., I've never seen it as a big deal since you can map to any town with the same NPCs. I'll probably use them if they're there, but its definitely low on my priority list.

The skills trainer works differently for the Guild Hall. He sells the core skills along with any non-elite unlocked skill. So you can get non-elites like you can with the tomes.

Emily said when she talked to one in a Guild Hall she was guesting it gave her a Signet of Capture (since she didn't have one) at no charge.

Is this guild still operating? Or has everyone shifted to WoW?

I'll be back as soon as I find a new version of windows XP. My vista tragically died in a stupid-me accident. So as soon as I get a job to pay for a copy of the new Guildwars and a new operating system my vote's for yes.

I saw Guild Wars Platinum on Gamestop's web site, I'm pissed. I just brought my cousin a copy of Guild Wars and if I'd had known there was a combo pack with Guild Wars and Guild Wars Eye of the north for forty bucks I'd have brought that instead.

We haven't played in a long time. The core group of us kinda jump around from MMO to MMO. And plus, I've got school stuff going on, so I don't get on much.

Getting the new graphics card working, then internet access. Then I'll be saving for guildwars. Computer specialists to fix my computer and start the hard drive over again. Hurray. Radeon drivers are the suck. =(

Yeah, the Radeon drivers are annoying. I have no problem with the cards, but having to install their drivers makes me =(

I've yet to have a problem with Radeon drivers unless .net framework wasn't installed. Then it does all kinds of really strange things.

I've never actually had problems with them. They're just annoying.

Lemme know when you get things up and running. I pop onto GW from time to time. Only have prophecies and likely won't get anything else until the middle of june.

I suggest Nightfall.

It'd likely go unplayed, first paycheck is going directly towards a xbox360. Though I may end up saving because I don't know if I want the 'nice xbox' or the elite xbox.

I mean if you do end up getting another GW, for whatever reason, Nightfall is my recommendation.

Access to Dervishes, alone, is worth it.

I had Factions a long time ago. Still got the disk. Lost my code and forgot my password. So it'll be early June when I play this again, if that soon. Hoping latency doesn't blow with a graphics card that's decent. Anyway its made to be easy on dial-up users.

Plus heroes.

I guess. But Dervish > Hero

Ironically, the Dervish Hero leaves something to be desired.

Lol. I bought a 450 watt graphics card thinking it was a 300. Now I need a new power source to run the spiffy new card. *sigh*
