Across the Universe

It's a movie that brilliantly tells the story of radical 60's youth through songs by The Beatles. Anyone seen it? I thought it kicked a lot of ass. Best movie I've seen this year.

Is it a musical film or is it a film with Beatles music in the background? Either way I might give it a shot.

It's not a musical film like The Wall was, and it's not a musical film like singing and dancing...or at least, not really. Parts they sing, and parts are just like a normal movie. It's a great film though. Trust me. It's also two hours and eleven minutes. At the end of it, in the theater we were in, it was applauded. Also, I think they squeeze in like...thirty-three Beatles songs, or something?
