Yeah, making Nick Fury black and bald didn't bother me one little bit. The only thing I was slightly surprised about was the fact that he didn't have a cigar.

Maybe he wanted to be polite inside the house? =P

On a side note here is an update.

Perez Hilton; Wrote:Iron Man, Marvel's first self-produced film, made an amazing $100+ million over the weekend. And it's made over $200 million worldwide already in only five days of being released!!

So, it's no surprise that Iron Man 2 is already in the works.

It even has a release date!

Iron Man 2 is set tentatively scheduled to be released on April 30, 2010.

Talk about moving quickly!

And Marvel's movie, titled The Avengers, even has a release date. It's set to come out in July 2011. We smell a 4th of July release date happening.

Things are looking well for Marvel, who's also set to release The Incredible Hulk later this summer, along with Punisher: War Zone in December.

It appears 2011 will mark an "Avengers"-themed summer for Marvel. It's The First Avenger: Captain America is set to be release on May 6, 2011, followed of course by the July release of The Avengers.

I'm surprised they haven't already done a Captain America movie. With all the patriotism bullshit that's been flying around the past few years, you'd think he'd be their first choice.

Ditto but I'm glad they waited.

The original Nick Fury is white.

The ultimate Nick Fury is black.

That's really it. Two completely different Nick Furys in two different universes. The Ultimate one was based on Jackson, which is why they asked him to play the part.

By the way, following movies are confirmed:

* Iron Man (2008) - Distributed by Paramount Pictures
* The Incredible Hulk (2008) - Distributed by Paramount and by Universal Studios in the United States

In development

* Iron Man 2 (2010) - Distributed by Paramount Studios - April 30, 2010 release[1]

I'll probably see the movie tomorrow. $4 Movie Tuesdays in Philly. Watched the after credits on youtube so I don't have to stay tomorrow.

Side note, I thought the person Samuel L Jackson plays was White in the comics?

I'm eighteen, why?

EDIT: Seems like Marvel's keeping themselves busy. O_O

*puts on geek hat*
The Justice League movie is outside the time lines of the new Batman and Superman franchises, and putting the actors who are in those current films (Bale and Routh) would be a bad fit for the Justice League movie, which sounds like crap anyways. The Batman director (Nolan) has one take on the character and to have Bale playing Batman again in some one else's movie with a different depiction of Batman would be messed up, as an example.

Waffuru Wrote:The director of Iron Man is really pushing for a Avengers movie and he would like to direct it. They've said they won't do it unless they can get all the established actors on board. It would probably have to wait til after the Hulk and Thor movies came out anyways.

If I remember correctly, an Avengers movie would be damn near impossible because all the characters are owned by different studios. Or something.

EDIT: Nevermind.

Yea, he was actually based on Samuel Jackson, with permission. Which is why probably why Marvel Studios fought so hard to get him. I read somewhere he isn't a big comic book fan, but his daughter apparantly was as a kid.
