Me. I was Bujin, and if I was thinking, I still would be. Immaterial, though.

Everything is accurate except for the last paragraph in the personality section. I've changed my mind since I put that up, and I haven't updated it yet. You can replace that section with the opposite -- he's typically selfish and will do anything to boost his reputation or money supply.

I have been, and always be, Vi. I was in DA 06.
So anyway, can I ask my question?
If I can, the question is, do you think that, with your knowledge of Bardock's style, and my own, do you think that we would benefit each other, like how me, Supes and KB did in 06, or do you think it would be detrimental to our advancement?
Fuck you, Photobucket.

You know I've got questions, Burt.
But so yes, I'd like an opinion on how well I might do this year. Was Zangya last year, will be Zangya this year. My main question is based on my two preshow posts in the Bar/Theatre/Arcade. I had two different writing styles at work in those two different posts, and I was wondering, if you could distinguish, if you could tell me which one appealed to you more? The first post, which was more toned-down, serious, and symmetrical, or the second one, which was less organized, a bit random, and slightly comedic. Might I also note that the second was a difficult break to make from my ordinary style, but if I could get farther with it, I'd like to know.

I'll be signing up shortly. Regardless of what character I may or may not be, how well do you think I'll fare?

This is NOT a place where I answer your questions. I give singular advice how to WIN. That's it. I'm not gonna sit here and write out paragraphs to answer every single question asked of me. I just can't do that for everybody.
And it's up to three people.
Also, this isn't a prediction thread

Abel: Sounds like your character will be best suited to be an asshole. Either be the hunter and stay alone, or find a character who you can bully around in roleplays until you don't need them anymore.
Raspberry: I think like last year, you need to get a partner, but for god's sakes don't pick somebody who everybody KNOWS will backstab you. But your writing level still isn't the best it could be so you need somebody to feed off of. But be more choosy when picking your partner. Don't pick someone who's way better then you...find someone about the same skill level.
Violet: I'd kinda like to see how you do solo, but at the same time I think you would be ridiculously boring on your own for some reason. With that in mind, finding a partner or a group would be a good idea, but only as a temporary reprise. As for about you and Bardock...he should be your biggest threat, not your best ally. Keep that in mind.

I don't really have advice for you. Do exactly what you did last year, only do it better. You could really get away with anything.
However, I don't advice getting involved with Raditzu again, unless you're trying to get him killed. At the end of the day, pairing with him is going make you look like second fiddle.

I think you can take it either way. You can try and go solo if you get a decent enough weapon, because you have the ability to roleplay Zangya alone and make it interesting.
But if the weapon isn't so good, it's a good idea to pair up with somebody who does have a good one. Either use them as roleplay fodder and for their weapon, or find a decent opportunity (like in a F2F) and try to turn on them to get their weapon during a fight.

Wow. That's way different than the advice you gave me yesteryear. Thanks. I appreciate that.
I'm planning on partnering, and hoping that the game will let me go with my partner to the end. Thanks for your advice, and I'll definitely keep it in mind if things don't go as planned. Hopefully they will, though, because Zangya's not into backstabbing right now.
Thanks again. I really appreciate that compliment. Much self-esteem was just given to me.

People always associate backstabbing with the typical betrayal. I can make it into an accident or any random reason in character.

Raditzu could be aiming at Reijin, who then dodges and Eighteen gets her head blown off.
That would be an example of In-Character betrayal.

Exactly.
Or an example would just an overwhelming sense of paranoia.
It's not all "I'm evil, I'll kill my partner!"

Thanks, Burt. <3
I guess I should have included that me and him have already agreed that we would be allying up and wouldn't be killing each other unless it is unavoidable, such as finals, etc. But, you do have a good point, though, from the above posts. Its not impossible for someone to betray another ally, although I highly doubt that would happen between us.

I didn't mention betrayal once in your advice.

I know, I was referring to the other points to other people, and took it as advice for myself, as well.
