It's crzy, easy to say it's going to be hard for people to trust him again along with any other member. Shit he's an admin...if anything 'morally' (as moral as one can get when in a position of power on a rpg site) he along with other staff are supposed to be looked up to as being truthful and whatever.

Anyway enough with that small aspect I have about the situation, I do feel angry but shit the only thing I can do is just nod and move on. You can't ignore him, he's a staff member. And it does reflect a bit badly on chubbs.

I'm mostly just annoyed at you Violet because you haven't been here as long as some of us, yet you're considering yourself well versed on this matter. The fact that he would lie so elaborately, using those lies for 4 years as a crutch to gain respect and trust says a lot about his character. I'm hoping you guys aren't thinking about kicking him out, I'm not for that, but something has to be done. If nothing more than people be allowed to express negative feelings about this now (not later) without having to deal with rebuttal from people that just made staff two weeks ago. Sorry for that, but it's how I feel.

I'm talking about in terms of Chubbs in general, and how it reflects upon all the staff to have someone that could lie so elaborately, and for such a long time, in their ranks. Personally, I'm fine with Reb. But in terms of the bigger picture, w/e that may be, I don't think it includes the hypocrisy of a Dana as an admin. On a 'identify hax' level, not a 'ima fuck up yo forum' level.

I'm all for moving past this, but it's all very fucked up.

You know, the more I think about the big picture, the more mad I get. . .I mean, to be in such a position of power that you are and feel unable to tell your secret? As a member I don't see it as a big deal (just a really long, very well done role play) but I can look from the point of the staff and feel violated/upset. But the one thing that really gets me is that ever since I first joined, I viewed you as a role model and, on several occasions, came to you with actual life questions. . .I asked you for advice and you gave. . .I just wish that I had known that you weren't what I thought at the time.

I dont see the big deal, so you lied for a few years to people who were at the time strangers, so what? I do think its cool that you told everyone though. So who gives a fuck if people have bad feelings, especially those that you have no real ties with in the first place, how can you be mad at someone for lying if it effects you in no shape or form. There's only one thing it boils down to in the end. Can we trust you again? We aren't just talking about one type of trust.

First of all, we've known you for at LEAST four years. Those that have been around when you first joined and whatnot all got to know you. You've been hated, you've been loved, people were indifferent about you. You've gone through a lot and you've lied the entire time. Can we trust you now? We really don't know you. So this entire time you've been on Chubbs, we've never met you Noah. It's kind of restarting. It's hard to trust somebody who has lied to you consistently for several years, but I don't think in affects me as much as others (such as 18 and Rad), but at the same time, I'm not gonna hold it against you. I may pull jokes about it out of my ass, but that's about it. But you had that coming =P

Then you have Chubbs. As a person, you lost trust, but what about Chubbs' trust and respect for staff/admins. As members of this forum we are supposed to follow rules and look up to those above us (mod and admin levels) no matter how much we dislike them. We all went through it when people hated you just as a mod. We've all been through that. But can the forum as a whole go back to trusting you in the admin position? We don't even know the man who is admin! What does that say about our staff? It's a scary thought. I think it's hard to say that you don't care about Chubbs, though. You have been dedicated and you wouldn't make up all of these lies just to spend your time and money for something you don't really care about. So you obviously care about Chubbs. In a power position such as admin, it's a different story, I'd say.

I have just a few simple points to make, and I'm not going to waste my time elaborating. They're two points, each on either side of the argument. Just to remain impartial.

1) He was 12. You all could have been pedophiles. He didn't want you to know that he was that old, possibly.
