I am open to critism, but on my creativity and how I handled the signature, NOT my artistic skills. I am fully aware that I am lacking in the artistic department. I hope the judges can see that I did the best with what I have.

As for Silver's, poor font choice. Making the flaming grass the foreground doesn't seem too good, mainly because the green clashes with it all; it might still do so if it were in the background, though. Nice choice of superhero, though, and I bet Rad would agree.

Oh, and I'll add that the fonts don't look good a takk, except for the fact that the second goes with the theme you implemented.

Gokua:

Normally pictures that blend in that much with the background do not look good, but the minor contrasts of colour help you pull it off. Bonus points for that. The style of fonts you chose were very nice, so once again, props for that. I must say, though, if you are going to be putting text in that is visible, make it readable, even if it is a trademark. Also, the other text should stand out in contrast colour-wise. It is easily distinguishable and legible, but it needs to stand out just a little bit more. As for teh background, nic ejob. It seems too disordered for my liking, but still very nice.

Torbie:

I can understand go for something different, but make sur eyou know you can at least do decent at it. The only good part of the 'sig' is that its outline fits the theme very nicely, but otherwise, poor. I think its kinda cool that the background feels distant, but the background itself seems just mediocre and definitely doesn't go with the rest; black and yellow contrast very nicely, not grey and yellow. The little pattern for the outline is just there, it seems to do nothing at all. Oh, and the font, it's a nice choice, but I felt like something should have been done with it, otherwise it is just there, as well.

Cargo:

Wow. That background is superb. Everything flows together very nicely, even though I think that a better font could have been chosen (I like it, just not with this sig). Making a font that doesn't go with teh sig flow with the sig sounds paradoxical even to me, so I have to give yea props for that. I think just three characters would have been better. The foremost character is positioned very nicely, helping ive the sig a feel of "don't mess with us."

Piccolo Daimoun:

The picture and the background clash very much so. This one had potential, but when put together, just falls apart. The text is fitting, but the fonts are bad. I think the picture helps exemplify the text, but it is terrible positioning. The background is alright, but doesn't help with anything at all.

Yajirobe:

Nice choice in superhero, I must say. It looks like you tried to really blend another picture of Spiderman into the background, and once noticed, doesn't look too good. The picture choice is very nice, but the edges just blend too much into the background for my liking. It looks like there's supposed to be fire in the background, but it just looks like some smudges (I'm not too knowledgeable in photoshop techniques, but is this grunge?). The font is nice, but there's too much text for the sig (although nice quote-pickin'). Looks nice overall, though.

King Cold:

This has to be the best of yours I have ever seen. Background is very nice and the picture choice is veyr nice. I think the positioning of the picture isn't the best, but it's not too bad. I like the font, but it doesn't flow with the rest of the sig like the background and picture do. Nice overall effect, though. I like it.

Bujin:

I'm not a fan of the curved edges on sigs, especially if the squareness of the pixels is noticeable. The picture seems to be the background almost, which isn't good. The fonts is nice, and even though it doesn't flow, it still looks nice there. It seems you tried to make Superman stand out a lot, and even though you succeeded, the rest of the sig feels empty now. =/ The font is the best part of it, but it is't too bad, overall.

Burter Junior:

I won't then, BJ, but my decision will involve the artistic side, otherwise it just wouldn't be fair. The only nice creative point of it is who you chose, and since I read explosm, it would obviously hold a soft spot for me. Otherwise, I do not like anything else, except for one thing artistic-wise, but you don't want to hear that schtuff, apparently.

Tooro:

One of the best backgrounds I have ever seen. The picture is nice, but it blends way too much with the sig. The character is supposed to seem real, and you made him blatantly two-dimesnional to the senses, which just ruins the picture. Text being right-angled to the rest of the sig's direction can be nice, but not here. The font itself is alright and I like the little border for it, but maybe it being vertically and levelw ith the sig's direction wou'd be better.

With all that said, I believe that Burter Junior should be kicked out. Tooro, Piccolo Daimoun, and Burter Junior were the ones who did poor this round. The rest were at least sixty percent nice-looking, while these three fall behind into the bottom third of the percentage range. Cargo made the best sig in my eyes.

If anyone bitches at my critisism, well, its no offense, guys. Just statitng the truth. My main gripes were the texts, but..yeah. Here's my judgements.

Majin Buu:


Cute stock, but very plain. I don't really like how the black bar goes over the face. If you are using photoshop, use a layer mask on that black bar layer (Its down on your layer's pallete, the box with the circle in it) and after applying the layer mask, use your gradient tool (with the black to white gradient selected) and drag across the layer. You'll have to mess with it to get it perfect, but that will fade that layer perfectly.

Captain Silver:

Not a fan of the text at all. The background isn't bad, but I am sure it could be better.


Gokua:

I love how you did this one. Although, I think maybe a streak of color in there to accent Batman would have made it better, either the text of the batman emblem on his chest.


Torbie:

Not really diggin it. Definitely not one of your best.

Cargo:

The text is not really flattering to the picture. I DO like how you have the super heroes arranged though. That's cool.

Piccolo Daimoun:

The text. If it was different or more clear, it would have been good. Nice choice of image, though I don't really like how it clashes with the bg.


Yajirobe:

<3 That just owns right there. Everything except the text. just doesn't look like it fits. Other than that, its beautiful.


King Cold:

One of the better sigs I have seen you do. The only complaint really, is the text. It doesn't fit well, and its not in a good spot. Good, though. Real good.


Bujin:

First time I saw this one, my jaw dropped. Its...awesome. Just...awesome. Love the colors, the placement of text and Superman. If I could change one thing about it, it would be the border. If it was in PNG-24, it would have worked out alot better.

Burter Jr:

XD A+ for creativity. Not too shabby with the paint program either. I liked it. =D the only thing I would do, however, would be to put frowning faces on the guys.


Tooro:


lovely. pop on a border, and it would own. =D

EDIT: Forgot a real judgement: I am torn between Torbie and BJ's, Bj's had the creativity while Torbie's was, idk...he looks like he didn't put his full effort into it. So, with that, TORBIE Gets my vote for removal. No offense, I just don't feel you put much effort into it.

Im not going to do it like the others. I am just going to flat out say who is my vote. If your name is not mentioned that means you did not suck, or enough to get my vote.

I have to go with Torbie as well. I do like it don't get me wrong but its kind of bland. While I like how you did it you could have done it a lot better in my opinion.

All others if you want me to mention yours let me know I will but I don't feel like wasting my time in such a fashion.

I was inclined to say Silver's, but Torbies just got to me. Silver, try to stear clear of all that space stuff...the only reason why I thought it was better than Torbies was the fact that it looks like you put forth a greater effort.
