TAPION
The blast had been enourmous. In the city of Kansas City, buildings were wiped out in seconds, crumbling to the ground. Even the streets tore apart. Glass shattered everywhere and the land was devastated. Hours passed when groups of people began slowly coming out of bomb shelters from underground. The cities had prepared for this because everybody knew it was coming.
Hundreds of people emerged from several places to see the obliterated city. There were tears, many tears. Thousands of corpses laid across the streets, in cars, hanging out of buildings. The wreckage was too much to bare.
Weeks passed as the two hundred people left in the large city cleared the debris. Some left to find a better place to stay while only the most dedicated worked dusk til dawn and then worked to make babies in the night. Sex was not for pleasure as much anymore but to begin the human race all over again. They were honored. The women who didn't work wrote journals as to what the people did.
The men and women worked with their bare hands as the world had turned to only electricity based and all electricity was down. No powerlines, no phonelines, the people worked harder each day with hope stuck in the back of their minds. Every night for the month they worked there were tears. But hope came as the US army came to help fix the wreckage. There were now about five hundreds worker bees, cleaning the city and restarting. The once high-flying skyscrapers were now to only about two stories. Nobody built higher than two stories as it was not needed at the time and there were no elevaters yet.
The first month was the most difficult. Every night they had to walk to a water source that was more than a mile away, gather water, bring it back, then heat it to get rid of all polution. The people were scared of the food and water, thinking nucleur waste had polluted it or the radiation changed it. It took six months before the city was a small town again and working. The roads were still cracked and broken, debris was all pushed into a large pile in the corner of the city.
Two years after the nucleur standstill, Kansas City was operating again with electricity. The president who had issued the strike for the nucleur warheads, George Bush XXV, was thrown out of office when he tried to rule the world and Evan the Great was put into office. The world as a whole turned into a union. Civil wars wilted as the people of Earth worked to return to the old life.
Hundreds of years in the future, the world returned to how it was in the year 3000. Union was forgotten, treaties were broken, and the US were in other people's shit again. It wasn't long before there was another nucleur war, that time, the entire race was destroyed. It was meant for humans to destroy themselves as they were greedy for power and lost all sense of helpfulness. As reptiles took over th Earth, the land changed dramatically. This was a new age.
