No, you did, it's something on your end. What browser do you use?

Mozilla...
Hmm...

I went to the training thing, and then highlighted the "available training points" then inserted "90" to see if it would change. Then I went to add one point to strength, and it allowed me to do so. When I looked back at my available TPs, it no longer said "90" but it was in the teens (I forget what number). So... I guess it's just a glitch with the coding in accordance with the mozilla server?

The following was posted by Reijin, and we thought it'd be easier to find here. Here we go.

" My friends, if any of you are like me and have used Firefox with some trouble from your training, fret no more. I just figured out the problem.

This doesn't apply to everyone, due to some settings.

However, for some, when you log into your training, it was all good the first time or so, right? It showed the right points and all. The next time you tried to log in, it would briefly appear as the same number as before, but immediately change to 0. I've noticed this before on other things, but never made the connection.

I redid my computer and all, and went to train for the first time, using FF for convenience. I noticed upon entry that it popped up the "Do you wish to remember this password? "Remember", "Never For This Site", "Not Now" box. I hit Remember. Then when I put the points in and tried to leave, as I pressed Train it asked me again the same question. I stared at it for a moment, thinking "but there is no password here..." Absently I hit Remember, to test it.

I then added some points to my account through the staff editor to test it (Actually had something to do with my Det, so I was having to train in two halves) and as soon as I logged in, the number reverted to zero.

I realized the problem, and opened up Tools and went to Options. I clicked on the Passwords tab and then clicked View Saved Passwords. I looked at the listing of logins with saved passwords and saw two that involved the training page and "0" and then a "<>" symbol. Basically it tries to use 0 as the login and <> as the pass for some reason.

I deleted the "saved passwords" and went back in with FF, setting it to "Never For This Site". All is fine and dandy now.

Long story short, tell your browser to never save your password there. At least now the real problem is found (I'd been trying to reset cookies, etc to find it doing nothing.)"

I cleared my passwords, so hopefully that will solve it...

If it doesn't, just train in IE. Problem solved. Tongue

Not quite, because my computer will not function under this household's security settings using IE. Otherwise, I just would have done that Wink

Though, even if it doesn't fix it, I can always use the glitch i explained above... it's just a pain.

Thanks for the help tho guys.. and gal?

Oh. Sorry, didn't know that. Uh... you could like, try Netscape. But it sucks a lot.

That's probably not a viable option, huh? Tongue

Quote from AIM: BRA: put a disclaimer up top saying I let you

I got permission.

Aqua...I too have issues with the training script...for some odd reason my computer lets me access my training program on VERY rare occasions...otherwise it says I'm hacking.

My suggestion to you, find a friend, either another member or not, that you trust and just ask them to do it for you.

I usually ask either Panbuukin or Violet to help out on these situations...they are VERY trustworthy and Violet did offer to help you out with your training every week. All you need to do is either PM her or IM her with where you want the points to go and she'll do it. I promise you that I'm not trying to screw you over, I too have an issue, but they've never let me down.
