The Return of Awesome
#1
Bet yall thought I was gonna stay OOC forever, right? Well, you were wrong! I just need teh old character switch to Spopovich. I'll get a post up either tonight, or tomorrow night. Need to get approved for the change first. Hopefully it'll be tonight. A character vault will be soon to follow, though I might just post it on Wiki to save time.

Character Name: Spopovich

Personality: Though his body is that of a thirty-year old wrestler, Spop's mind is trapped at the age of five. While it might be cute when a child throws a tantrum, when a grown man does so, it's just wierd. Everything is a game to the massive human, even killing other people. He simply doesn't know any better, and it's doubtful he ever will.

Much like Lenny, from Of Mice and Men, Spopovich is completely unaware of his strength, to the point where he'll accidently hurt people. Unlike some, he won't feel guilty for what happened, he'll just move on to something "more fun." The bulding baldy never conciously manipulates his ki, that being somthing he can't quite grasp. Instead his attacks take the form of little bunnies, flying saucers, or other equally strange shapes, created from the behemoth's overactive imagination. Though no more or less deadly than any other form of blast, their shape can really throw an opponent off his or her game.

Even with these unique abilities, Spop is truly a child inside and, more often than not, sticks to physical attacks. He can be a bit of a bully, but if someone does the same to him he'll typically start crying.

Planet: Earth-sei

Email: angband@aemail4u.com

AIM: angbandman

Best Moves:

Child's Play: One of Spop's favorite moves, it works alot like how other warriors create ki weapons. Instead, he imagines a toy and his body naturally manufactures one for him. The "toy" could be anything, though it's limited in size. Created from pure energy, it doesn't actually have mass, but if it did the limit would be about five pounds.

Copycat: Exactly like a small child, Spopovich likes to do what the "big kids" do. So, though he typically can't manifest ki conciously, he has the uncanny ability to copy an opponent's attack. His short memory span, however, keeps him from using this ability for extended periods. Usually he'll just use the attack once, grin in pride at how "smart" he is, and go back to fist fighting. Lastly, the attack he copies will only be at 80% power, since he doesn't truly know how to use it.

More moves to come. Also, tell me if those are unacceptable.

I think they're hilarious. Way approved. Just tell me when everything else is ready and me/someone'll update you.

For some reason this computer won't let me view the first page of this, but my old stats are on there, courtesy of Bardock. From my talks with both Burter and Rad, I got the impression that I could keep them without reduction, since I'd been deactivated. So, I should be eligible for another two moves, one of which is posted below.

Make-Believe: A variation of his Copycat move, when Spop uses his imagination he can pretend to be someone else. It doesn't change the way he looks, nor grant him the person's stats, or moves. Instead, it alters his voice and personality to match his persona, and may grant some racial abilities, such as a Namekian's Regeneration. The duration of this technique is only slightly longer than that of Copycat, usually only long enough to perform a single task of moderate length. Only one person can be emulated at any given time and the strain of using this move means Spopovich can only call on it once an IC week.

I'm a bit unsure on whether this one is offlimits or no, or if I put enough restrictions on it to make it suitable. If it isn't, I'll see if I can't tweak it a bit.

Edit: I know you're probably thinking: "omghax! Hu-mans can't use teh Regen, even with a muv!" I'm just trying to play this guy as someone whose imagination has such a strong influence on him that it can even change the way his body works.

Unfortunately, Blue, I can't see the page either, and I don't have the stats saved on my laptop anymore. =\

The roster still has my stats on it, luckily. It's a good thing no one joined as Blue while I was away. Lol!

And here they are!

Would you like me to make the changes, then?

Sure. My last move I'll place in the adding moves thread once I flesh it out a bit more. Ofcourse, if any of the moves I've put down so far are unacceptable, don't add them and I'll change them.

I'll get on it.

I'll put your first two moves on your roster. As your third move stands, I wouldn't approve it. As far as I'm concerned, no move can let you imitate racial abilities, no matter how powerful the imagination.

Understandable. I figured I'd either have to tweak it, or ditch it altogether.

Your roster is adjusted accordingly: name and moves are changed, everything else is the same. I'm working on your account now, so you may have to log back in.

EDIT: Done.

The post should be working now. Sorry about that.
