I hate PVP

I'm so damn sick of Gnome Warlocks thinking they're the shit. Yeah, it's so cool to chase me half way through the zone, dotting me while I blow my cooldowns, and almost killing the guy who's almost 20 levels below you. Yeah, so cool.

I'm going to transfer to Bladefist, a PVE server, where some RL people we know are. I'm so done with PVP, it's not even funny. Seriously, why can't they grow some balls and fight someone who wants to fight, not chase a player down who just minds their own business questing?

Yeah, my own fault for being on a PVP server, but it was my EX that chose PVP and I had no idea about how rude and retarded it would be.

Similar to my situation on my lock, except there is always three UD Rogues suddenly coming out of stealth and killing you before you can do a thing, and then spamming their /spit /lol macros at you while teabagging your corpse. BECAUSE THEY'RE SO COOL!

Yeah, it's the players, they think they're so cocky cuz they can kill you while you're at half health, or running from mobs, or a clothie.

Only on a PVE or RP server, I'm on a RPPVP which means PVP can not be turned off.

One would think that following the rules of an RP server that you wouldn't run into as much of it, but I guess not.

On my server, I've had to get used to two and three hour long corpse camping by 5-6 people standing around spitting on your corpse and then posting the screenshots on the realm forums to brag about.

I got around this by growing very acquanted with my alt. Except I now dual box the two characters to do the island with. Which gets them both camped, as there is such an imbalance of factions on my main server that I'll be the only allies with about 20-30 horde active.

I've begun talking to some horde friends and they ask people to move off if they are alive. Of course, some people that love ganking will just go "Aww, baby alliance is crying because he's 12" and continue, but that's how people get online. Penny Arcane "Shitcock" syndrome.

You could always, like, ignore what people say and move to another server.

You should be playing the game on your own terms, not someone else's.

In my case, its completely a normal PVP server situation. And until recently, there were problems transferring from a PVP to PVE and getting stuck there. Its one of those "If you can't find ways to get over it, then go to a PVE server" things, which I prefer, but I noticed a lot of different griefing there too.

Ultimately though I'm going to play where friends are playing and actively.

Its called "stand over someone's head and press a macro that has /sit /stand /sit /stand" on it. People do it in FPS games with just crouching repeatedly too.

Worse is when they have a group, gank you, camp your corpse, then collectively report your name, which automatically flags you and forces you to change it, since obviously if there have been THAT many complaints, you've done something wrong.

/spit is nothing. God, I'm glad I'm done with WoW.

Well, regardless, I solved the problem. The PVE server I'll be going to is where a lot of cool people are, we have some level 20 alliance chars in it, and they have a horde side guild as well.

I've never seen THAT. Only time I've ever seen someone have to change their name is if its either bad or involves some type of symbol. In order to report a name, you have to actually speak with a GM, so it can't really auto-flag it or anything. In fact, I got pissed at this hunter that was tracking me and killing me every fucking time I logged on (I don't know what this fuckers deal was, but he realized I was doing the Netherwing rep quests at a certain time every night and would sit there with track humanoids on around that time) and typical emotes (not enough spam to get himself in trouble though). I kept trying to report his name to a GM, but they never did a thing about it.

My REASON for reporting it was that his name was Bow (pet was Arrow) with a squiggly B. Some symbol that looked like a capital B. I couldn't target him with a /target macro, so I could never figure out if he was just flying above me out of sight with me on track or not, and sure enough, the moment I'd get mob aggro he would appear, /gloat, all that fun. I finally just stopped doing those dailies, it was pretty annoying, and I hate the Netherwing stuff enough as is.

It's super fun if you aren't getting ganked. Just play on a Normal or RP sever and it won't happen unless you flag yourself for PVP.

Now I just need $75 so I can transfer.
