However, we're getting off the subject. You're pretty much telling me the only reason you want him (or don't want him for that matter) is the way he looks.

No, I don't mean it like that. I mean that his appearance could reflect his changed personality. He's going to become a much darker, more focused character, and I can't see the way that a huge, fat, chubby Buu could reflect that.

EDIT: Also, I do not mean that in the way that Puttalins can form their body like putty. I am saying that over time with his intense training/fighting, he lost weight and became muscular.

Using that image for your Spiritken form is my compromise. If you absolutely must have a physical manifestation for your character growth, that will fit the bill just fine.

It still sounds like appearance is an important factor. You want Buu to look "tough" and "strong" to reflect his change to dark and focused. Buu can still be dark and focused looking the way he is. You ever see the Daredevil comics? Spider-man cartoon? The Kingpin was a pretty hefty guy, and he had phenomenal strength and had a very commanding presence. He was the leader of the New York mafia. He had insane physical combat skills, and he trained for them. He could kick a guy's ass up and down the street with his bare hands. You don't have to look a certain way to show you're a badass.

No, but being a big pink peice of bubblegum doesn't help the case either. Someone else had said it, Jacky I think, that wwere limited to our imagination. The first thing I thoguht when I saw Buu was "wtf, your kidding right?", and even when he was kicking ass and taking names he wasnt... "evil", more like a child throwing a temper-tantrum.

I do agree with your compramise though.

Question- If he had mastered shape change, what'd be the limitations? for buu's I mean. Would they be able to change their skin color and whatnot? instead of their "basic" form now(where their still pink)

Shapechange can make him look however he wants, so long as he has seen whatever he turns into beforehand. However, Shapechange doesn't last forever: if he gets into a fight, any major blow can revert the shift, and it requires concentration to keep up the form. Also, he couldn't power up or use any super forms while Shapechanged. So really all it would do is alter his appearance. If Mr. Buu were to see Super Buu, and decided that's how he wanted to look, that's fine. But it wouldn't be beneficial beyond aesthetics.

If you cannot roleplay a person without having them look a certain way, you shouldn't have picked them in the first place, because you don't really care about the character itself.
