I was hoping on some feedback, hit or miss?

-depth
-compo
-colors
-flow



The effects are iffy, but I gave that one a plus. The clipping mask really messes up flow that is already in turmoil. Don't necessarily like the text either, but I wouldn't consider it a negative.


Keep working. Try using some filters and whatnot. Experiment; leave your comfort zone. Also reading some tuts would help too.

I thought it had flow to it, I knew there was no depth though lol. Thanks for the comments guys, I'll take it into consideration for future projects.



Is this one any better? I like the + and - thing, it lets me know exactly what I need to work on lol...then again so would just saying it but...but I like it lol. So yeah, any thoughts on this one?

I told you what I thought over AIM. I'm posting here for no real reason, just to say it publicly, I guess. =P

Try to make a new layer> apply image> set to soft light then play with the opacity a bit. Also, blurring some parts individually; instead of everything within the canvas helps.

I'm no master with depth myeslf (as you know) but I think what I said could possibly help. =]

How are you at making screen savers/backgrounds? I wanted to request a Chris Benoit type screen saver/background. If you don't have any experience with it then it's cool.

Hmm...well, I've actualy never tried, but I've been thinking of making myself a background for my comp. I'll definitely take a shot at it for you, but I'm not promissing anything great. Any specs, pic, what you want me to do with it...anything?

Looks like you've gotten better with depth to me. You should work on lighting an try to add some effects, that would make it hot. The scanline box looks like you attempted to put in like..a sybliminal sign, lol (which is pretty cool, if you did that on purpose). Also, the entire sig is not b/w, don't know if you noticed that or not...

Thanks, I actualy only made it like that in hopes that its depth looked better, taking what you said in to consideration. I'll work on it and try to make it look better, try and make the scanlines blend better with the rest of it. And it was a clipping mask of his face lol, I thought it looked cool. And good observation, theres like three spots or so with color in them, but I would consider it to be b&w only cause there was no real color scheme or anything like that...but your right .
