Name: Kirano/Nareg
Age: 20
Race: ¾ Human/ ¼ Darklighter
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 205 lbs
History:
After the Red Stallions quest, Kirano decided to take time out of being earths hero, settling down with his girlfriend – the love of his life, the best person that had ever graced his young life – the angel Pearl. It was not long before he went down on one knee during a football game in front of a crowd of 75, 000 supporters, who watched his proposal to her on a big screen during the halftime show. The woman, who was expecting his first child, accepted his proposal – leaving the crowd in awe.
Kirano could not have asked for a better life. He ignored the fact that Jabiro had always been sceptical of his fiancée and did not approve of their engagement. The Kai believed the way Pearl entered his life seemed unrealistic. He could not put his finger on what he found so odd about it, but he continued his case to find out everything he needed to know about ‘this angel’ he had never heard of until she met the youth.
Kirano believed everything was going to be perfect. He believed he knew everything about Pearl from the 20 months he had known her. He was almost right, somewhere within the 90 percentile. There was one thing he did not know about her, the biggest aspect on all; her true identity. She was not an Angel named Pearl. As a matter of fact, she was a Whitelighter named Phoebe who had been sent from heaven to inform Kirano that he was the grandson of the Darklighter ruler, Aeries.
By the words ‘chosen one’, he was chosen to be the next Darklighter ruler, after his grandfather’s reign. He believed the rightful person in line was his son, but after researching that the man was a bum with no fighting ability or power, no attributes whatsoever to become a ruler, and did nothing but drink alcohol on a Planet named earth, he knew there was no chance that he would even consider his son to become the next ruler.
Aeries investigators did further research discovering that his only son had a child of his own, a teenaged boy named Kirano, who fortunately was a talented fighter. Though the boy did not have a lot of power, he had limitless potential, which brought a spark to the cold eyes of the ruler. He knew from that moment his grandson was the chosen one. With Darklighter blood flowing through his veins, he had already decided the boy was going to be his successor. There was only one problem. The youngster had a good heart. He was in heaven after all. That however was not a problem he could not solve. The boy was rather naïve, therefore could easily be manipulated into join the dark side somehow.
When the Whitelighters found out that a Darklighter with human blood was the chosen one to rule their enemies, they saw it as an excellent opportunity to ridicule Aeries’ intention. Therefore they arranged for an informant, a teenage girl named Phoebe, to inform Kirano of their plans, as well as his heritage – in hopes to save him from a world of evil. She was sent to heaven to act as an angel named Pearl – as part of one of Kirano’s tests during his Dojo of Light campaign.
When Aeries found out what the White Lighters planned on doing, he sent one of his minions to earth to erase the memory of Phoebe. It was done successfully. The Whitelighters were unaware. With her memory erased, Phoebe was led to believe her name was Pearl and that she was an Angel.
------------------------
After saving earth from the Red Stallions along with his allies, Kirano found that he was able to speak telepathically with people, his teacher Jabiro in particular. He would further progress his fighting skills by achieving Spiritken through the training of mentor. His new power needed a lot of training to reach perfection.
The youth decided that his relationship with Pearl needed more attention than the training of his newly Spiritken power, which enraged the Kai, telling the teen not to make that mistake of letting love get in the way of his training. Kirano, being stubborn and headstrong decided to make his own choice, which led to his proposal to Pearl. Annoyed with Jabiro’s constant rants about how much of a mistake he was making, he turned his back on the Kai and his training altogether. He decided spending time with Pearl was the only suitable choice for him.
-----------------------------
The more time he and Phoebe were spending with each other, the more softhearted he became. Aeries was not pleased to discover that. To make matters worse, he was unaware that ‘this Whitelighter’ was expecting his grandson’s first child. Enraged Aeries sent the same minion he had long ago ordered to erase Phoebe’s memory, to erase both his grandchild’s and Pearl’s memories this time around, so that they would have no idea who the other was. This was again done successfully. Also, all of Kirano’s memories of his friends, all of the people who were the cause of his happiness, they were all erased. As well as his memory, his powers – inhuman strength, had been erased. His ability to generate energy, ability to sense ki, everything had been erased.
Sadly, with no memory of ever being in love with one another, the two parted ways. Phoebe still kept the diamond engagement ring however, in hopes of one day finding out whom she was intended to marry. She ended up having a baby with no memories of the father’s child. Aeries was careless and underestimated the power of science. She was able to extract DNA from her baby girl in order to find out who the father of the child was. Phoebie has never stopped searching for Kirano to inform him of their child.
-----------------------------
One day Aeries came to earth, meeting his grandson in person for the first time, telling him bout his heritage. He eventually took his relative trough to the Dark Realm – to the world of the Darklighters. He told his grandchild that he was destined to be his successor in ruling the Kingdom. With no memory of ever being a hero, or having friends in his life who fought in order to protect Planet earth, Kirano easily turned to the dark side. In this realm, his grandfather trained him in the ways of a Darklighter, turning him sinister and more powerful than he ever was.
A Darklighter chancellor named Sidius did not see any reason why the rulers grandson should be next in line. Many believed the wise chancellor possessed the qualities to be a great leader of the Darklight world. He went behind Aeries back and began feeding Kirano with information about his past. Gradually, his past began to rebuild within his mind. He eventually gained full memory thanks to Sidius. Angered that he had been manipulated, he went after his grandfather. The crafty chancellor stopped him in time, telling the youth what a big mistake he was about to make.
The crafty chancellor, who had only helped Kirano for his own personal gain, knew the boy would die if he went after his grandfather. Sidius did not want that. He had a plan. A plan he could only execute with him alive. He told Kirano to continue as if he had not gained any memory of his past. He told him to become stronger, strong enough for the two to unite in order to kill Aeries.
Kirano no longer had any desire to claim the Darklighter world. With Aeries descendent out of the way, the chancellor believed there was no one who could stop him from becoming the new ruler. Kirano, who could only think of revenge, agreed to Sidius’ plan.
Techniques:
Buster Bomb: Motions his arms forward, with both palms in his front. A large amount of energy is then channelled into them. A giant ball of energy is then created. He then uses force from his hands to launch the ball of energy to his opponent. This attack can take out large masses of land.
D’OH: Using his index fingers, he can create rings of energy. He uses these rings to trap his opponents inside them. The size of the rings created varies.
Destructive Cannon: Cups both of his hands by his side and then aims them in his front. As he begins to channel energy into his cupped hands, yellow bolts of energy are formed around the attack. He then spreads his palms flat out in front of him, using both hands to fire the powerful attack. The more power he puts into the attack, the more powerful it attack becomes.
Field Open: Creates a golden energy barrier, surrounded by golden ki bolts, which forms around him to help evade attacks. The barrier has an expandable circumference, but will require more energy input. The barrier can also act as a reflective barrier, sending attacks back to sender. The more powerful the opponent’s attack, the more energy the barrier drains out of him.
Dark Kamehameha: A dark version of his traditional energy wave. To perform the technique, he cups his hands to his side, and then begins to channel in a twirl of black ki. Once he is satisfied with the input of ki in the ball of energy, he motions his arms forward with, opening his palms to fire the energy wave.
Advanced Solar Flare:
Combo Techniques:
Destructive Buster Bomb: He has combined two of his attacks to come up with an immense attack. To perform this technique, he cups his hands to his side, and then aims them in his front. Blue ki is then channelled in them. Blue bolts of energy are formed around the attack as it continues to build. He then spreads his palms in his front, forming a giant blue ball of energy, surrounded by blue bolts. The attack his then fired.
Kameha Cannon: An upgraded version of a combination of two of her techniques. It is almost performed in the same way as the Destructive Cannon. He cups his hands by his side and then directs them in his front. Neon green ki is then channelled in his outstretched, flat palms. Neon green bolts of energy are created as he continues to channel energy. Once at the right level, the energy wave is released.
Buster Bomb Kameha: His ultimate attack, which he only plans to use in a life-threatening situation. This level of attack comes at a high price, and drains his ki to breaking point. Trying to use this attack with insufficient ki could even lead to his death.
To perform this technique, he cups his hands to the side, creating a black coloured ball of energy. He then motions his arms forward, with his palms flat out in his front. The small ball of ki begins to increase in size. As it continues to increase, golden bolts of ki are formed around the large ball of energy. He then launches the ball to his opponent. Even the littlest amount of ki input can create a powerful attack that would drain his energy.
Abilities:
Ki Sense 2: A useful ability, which allows him to detect whether someone has greater or less power than his own. His sensing range exceeds almost half of a Planet.
Telepathy: An ability, which allows him to speak telepathically with people. He learnt this ability originally from Jabiro, but later again learned it from his grandfather.
Spiritken Untrained: An ability, which heightens his powers by tenfold. He had originally learnt this technique through the help of Jabiro. He later learned it again with the help of his grandfather.
Dark Light: An ability only possible for a Dark Lighter to achieve. It is the pinnacle transformation of their race; heightening ones power twenty times its original. Its aura is black, symbolising the evilness of their race. He achieved this transformation through intense training from his grandfather.
Ship:
Jet Cruiser: A medium ship that was made in the Dark Realm for him.
Relationships:
Android 17: His first true friend, also, one of the two people he trusts with his life and would sacrifice his life in order to save. Kirano used to always bragging about his victory over the Android in a one on one fight before the invasion on Earth, the time they first met.
Super Buu: There was a time, just by the mention of Buu’s name, a frown would appear on his pretty face. The two never got along, always disagreeing with one another. Kirano perceived the pullitan as an arrogant, inconsiderate bastard. They even came close to blows on two occasions.
Violet: He liked to believe there was sexual tension between the two. He believed she had feelings for him, when in reality she found his flirtatiousness with her, irritating. He reminded her of one of those creepy guys in a movie who stalk women.
Android 16: Despite the fact that he could hardly make a conversation, Kirano respected him and acknowledged him as a decent fighter.
Freiza: One of the two changeling brothers responsible for terrorizing his home planet. While fused with his brother, they effortlessly killed him. To add insult, they spat on him. The human swore that he would get even. He would later encounter the changeling on earth, sometime after his revival. The two fought and surprisingly he was able to overcome the tyrant, beating Freiza within an inch of his life. To add, humiliated the changeling by spitting on him and then sparing his life.
Koola: The eldest of the two changeling brothers responsible for terrorizing his home planet. While fused with his brother, they killed him. To add insult, they spat on him. He would have searched for Koola after he was revived, if he had not gotten revenge on Freiza first, which satisfied him.
Marron: A teenage girl he encountered in heaven. To his discovery, she turned out to be the female version of himself in terms of character, which was the cause of their disputes. The bratty young female challenged him to a one on one spar. Kirano was reluctant to fight a girl, but she managed to use her disrespectful tongue to push him into the fighting mood. Neither was able to score a victory and their intense battle ended in a draw. Marron taught him that females were not to be underestimated, though he still believed they were inferior.
Goku Jr: Encountered the saiyan on Planet Vegeta. Disturbing Kirano led to receiving a beating. Realising how strong the hybrid was, he requested training by him. At first Kirano was reluctant, but then came around to the idea and mentored the saiyan. Their relationship would end three days later during a stop to Planet Trek, where he forcefully kill his student.
Notable people: Aqua, Burter, Paragus, Kid Buu, Piccolo
Deaths:
Kooriza: Determined to put a stop to the CIA invasion, which took place on his home Planet, Kirano foolishly but bravely confronted the enemy leader. The fusion of the challenging Princes Koola and Freiza proved too much for him and a simple ki blast was able to end his life.
Kills:
Goku Jr: Disobeyed his sensei by involving himself in his Kirano’s fight, when specifically told not to do so. His disobedience led to falling into a life-threatening predicament. The hybrid felt the teenager’s death in the hands of another person would prove he was a failure as a sensei. In addition, he would not allow the satisfaction of another man ending his student’s life. While the enemy had Goku Jr in a tight hold ready to kill him, he released an energy wave while in his spiritken form, killing both the enemy and his student.

Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?
