2006 Roleplay Award VOTING (everyone vote!)

[Aqua]

This is the thread for voting and voting only. If you want to discuss or argue the votes do it in the discussion thread I made about the rewards.

The rules for voting:

1. You may only vote for one person/ thread per category.
2. If you want to nominate someone that is not on the list, you can PM me to add them to the list, but you must keep in mind that the voting will not start over because you didn?t make the nomination deadline.
3. Votes are cast in stone once they are posted (after they can no longer be edited). If a later nomination comes up that you like better, tough, you already made your vote.
4. You are not required to explain your reasoning behind each vote, but a little something would be nice. Don?t enter a debate with other comments though. Again, that?s what the discussion thread about the rewards is for.
5. Only members can vote (no guests).
6. The voting period will last for a week (7 days).

After the week of voting, I will tally the votes and announce the winners.

To vote for a Character/ RPer/ thread, simply copy and paste the following template and fill in the names of the nominee for whom you want to cast your vote.

I do want to point something out, and no, please do not take this as me complaining. I actually waited for the nominations to finish just to show this, and it turned out exactly as I expected. This actually perfectly proves a point of something I responded to Dana with, and I'm sure that he'll see this post through the use of various methods that I know he's familiar with.

Look at the names up there regarding roleplays. 2006 includes Friend or Foe 2, which was probably my best work, and the other Dante's Abyss, in which I placed second. People constantly claim that "oh Reijin is one of the best writers, I'm doomed" if they are paired up against me in a competition, but I'm really not.

Dana, as you see, my name is not listed above in a single category despite my finishes in those competitions. In fact, to show that the majority doesn't necessarily agree with Burter's feelings of my writing, people that were eliminated in those events earlier than me are on there with their writing while I'm not.

This is why I constantly find myself caught between being hellbent to grow as a writer (when people respond with "oh you are great don't worry") and losing complete interest and not caring. To the general populace, I'm not that great or a favorite, so I feel the need to improve.

So let's not freak out when paired up against me anymore =D I think people back themselves into a corner completely from the hype itself, similar to how everyone spazzes if paired with Rad when I'm willing to go up against him in a heartbeat. I'll even put that on the line in DA:C if necessary.

Again, I'm in NO way complaining or looking for attention, I'm simply pointing something out for the benefit of people like Dana that constantly feel they are being held back and in the shadow of people like me. Keep trying, b/c even the titans find themselves eclipsed. Congrats to all who made it =D

[Blue]

By the way, some staffer should make these into polls.

Make it so!

[Ashe]

I don't always like doing true polls because the anonymity of polls allows for abuse by changing IP and voting multiple times.

[Blue]

Oh. Ok. I didn't know that. ^_^;

[Super Buu]

Votes up later, but I just wanna say, Rei, that I didn't count FoF2 as in 2006, since only the very last part occured in it. I actually considered it, and didn't take that saga into account for that very reason.

And yeah, Yamcha. Kirano bangs a pregnant angel. XD

Thanks to those who have voted. For everyone else (besides Reijin who can pretty much do what he damn well pleases) please don't post anything but your votes here. Discussion for this topic can be relocated to the discussion thread I made in the RPG chat board.

Thanks All.
