In lieu of starting the actual game tonight I'm going to give some information on it, and hope that sates you until tomorrow =(. As you already know its set in Faerun, the same place all your DnD video games start. The question is where exactly in the wide Forgotten Realms?
The Vast and surrounding areas. To start. You'll be in the city of Tantras, and as these things go, placed in a situation. How will you react? It'll be interesting.
Take a look at the name now. The Sixth Son. How you react to this 'Son' is pivotal. You'll all have heard of him, but by a different name: Alkaios. The name has been tossed around alot lately, especially around the adventuring circles.
The vast majority call him insane. Brain addled by a odd spell or some such ailment. Others, and there are enough of them or there wouldn't be talk all over the Vast, others call him a god. That is unlikely, as the the pantheon is quite filled, but if the stories are to be believed he has performed miracles across the land... stuff even mages and clerics are skeptical of being possible. Blights that have long ravage unchecked by clergy, gone in those villages he grace with his presence, control over weather and elements so meticulous and without limit that the highest practitioners of the Art look at him with more than curiosity... if you believe the stories.
But there is truth in the fact that some villages have sworn fealty to him. That a small but steady stream of individuals flock to him. The nobility sweat. What can they rule if their peasantry are under rule of a God, real or not?
This is only the surface. Plot will unfold the deeper you go. Your strength will be tested... your very alignment will be struggled with. No matter what you do, there is no black and white in my campaigns.

When in doubt: It was sarcasm.
