Gohan had heard rumors about a rather large tournament that was held every year by the Syntech Corporation: Dante?s Abyss. While out walking one day he ran into a rather large crowd, all stuffing into a rather small building, curiosity griped him. Soon he made his way into the building, where he found out that Syntech was holding another competition; Dante?s Abyss: Conquest. This interested him and he quickly signed up.
Soon he was assigned to the Dante Forces, led by Broli and Vegeta I, it was the only army to have co-commanders. Gohan didn?t mind having two commanders; having a somewhat old-fashioned outlook, he simply deemed it, as ?two heads are better than one?.
Soon they entered battle against Syntech?s own army at Port Karolin. Sporting a new mask, Gohan went into battle. After hours of fighting, Dante emerged victorious. However an officer managed to flee from battle. After searching for a couple days, he too was killed.
Soon after the defeat of Vegeta II, the last remaining Syntech warrior, one of his lieutenants, Reijin invited everyone in the Dante Forces to his alliance: Xero Tolerance Complex. The old fellow agreed.
Dante didn?t have a lot of rest however, and soon had to face off against the Outcasts forces at Hypertron Fortress. It was a long and grueling battle, with major losses on both sides. However, this battle took a considerable toll upon the old man. Pigero, a young soldier and a fellow Captain who had saved him, perished in the explosion. Pigero wasn?t the only one to die however, King Cold, someone Gohan had met and fought along side, also died in the massive blast. Gohan also suffered injuries from the explosion; the blast left many scars on his time beaten body.
Soon Grandpa Gohan would have his revenge; he met in battle against the newly appointed Commander, Cell Junior. The small alien bug put up a hell over a fight, however it was neither Gohan nor Junior who put an end to the battle. Instead a stray blast obliterated the wall that they fought upon, both falling to their deaths, and elimination from Conquest.
During the competition he was saved by a young boy, Pigero. Gohan had previously thought that the battlefield was no place for children, and while he still somewhat keeps this outlook, he does know that there are exceptions.
Later in the competition, at the battle for Hypertron Fortress, he watched as the life of Pigero was extinguished in a huge explosion. One, which left the old man, scarred all over his body, almost taking his life as well. In the same explosion however, King Cold, the changeling king that he?d met briefly at Port Karolin, and then again in battle, facing Justinian, an officer of the Outcast Forces, perished.
This filled the old man with a raging lust for revenge. Never in his life had he wanted something so bad, as to take the life of another person. He was predominantly against killing, though over the course of Conquest, he had become a mass murderer.
Pigero: A young child that Gohan met during DA:C, he was saved from a devastating blow as Pigero pushed him out of the way and then proceeded to handle the assailant. He wanted the life slip from Pigero body after a huge bomb obliterated Hypertron Fortress.
Reijin: Lieutenant of the Dante forces, and a strong warrior to say the least. After the skirmish with Syntech, he invited everyone in Dante to join his alliance. Despite being in battle with Reijin many times, Gohan doesn?t know the depths of the saiyans power.
Akane Kimidori: Another small child that Gohan had met in Conquest. She seemed to take a liking to Lt. Reijin, even going so far as to play ninja while stalking him.
Vegeta I: One of the co-commanders of the Dante army. Other than a few meetings, Gramps doesn?t really know him all that well.
Broli: The other Commander of Dante. Broli let the old man pursue his revenge against the alien commander of the Outcast Forces.
King Cold: Gramps briefly met Cold shortly after the army had left Heartforged Keep. Both of them shared the same taste in wine. He met the changeling again in battle against Justinian, a ranking officer in Outcasts. Together they overcame the rubbery human, defeating him promptly.
Masenko: Although preformed differently than a traditional Masenko, its still Gohans favorite moves. He puts both his hands to one side, gathering his energy; an orb of pure white energy soon appears. Gohan thrusts his hands forward and a beam is fired. DBZ Standard.
Hell zone Grenade: Gramps begins by shooting out many ki balls that are made to be easily avoided. After a sufficient amount is fired, he motions for the many orbs to converge on his opponent, decimating them. DBZ Standard.
Special Beam Cannon: The elderly human starts to charge his energy by placing his index and middle finger on his forehead. Soon a blue-white sparkle of energy can be seen. By pointing his fingers forward, and calling out ?Special Beam Cannon?, the beam is fired, one beam corkscrewing around the other. DBZ Standard.

Appearance:
While in Dante?s Abyss: Conquest, Gohans look changed slightly. Now instead over an orange vest with a golden circular design, he wears a silk traditional button down. He decided to keep his lower attire however. Black silk pants, complemented by socks and ?slippers?.History:
