History
Approximately sixteen years ago, the planet Puttalin was destroyed in an awful explosion. The puttalin pieces that remained drifted off into deep space, until they reached unknown destinations. One blob of puttalin drifted for five to six years, and then was pulled onto the surface of planet Kaioshin by its gravity and discovered by the evil wizard, Bibidi. Bibidi gave the blob life, but was soon after killed by the five Kaioshins. However, the puttalin blob ambushed the group, and engulfed Dai Kaioshin, taking on his form and personality. Later, the East Kaioshin, the only remaining Kaioshin, sent the puttlin to Earth, where he would cause no harm.

While Majin Buu was resting near his home, his peaceful morning was interrupted by the arrival of the Ninja Murasaki, whom agreed to spar with the Majin. They fought intensely, with Majin Buu regenerating after every attack, seeming invincible. Murasaki would not give up, however, and threw a blinding energy attack at Buu, and when the smoke cleared, the ninja had disappeared, and the spar was over.

After a small trip to West City's ice cream parlor, the Majin was employed by Bill Buckley to try and shake up some animal rights activists. When Buu arrived, he was forced to... well, force his way in, causing the injury of a worker and a guard; inside, he killed the other mercenary Buckley had sent when the mercenary tried to kill a guard, but then turned the guard into grass when the officer threatened him. Afterwards, he was arrested, and then he was released and returned to the Buckley Building. The CEO gave him his payment, only to fall to his imminent doom seconds later.

Later on, Buu began his training for Ki Sense in his small valley, only to be interrupted by a saiya-jin named Coroz, who threatened him and then offered him a job. Knowing the heights of the warrior's blackmail, Buu accepted the offer began his quest for an android's self-destruct device.

Abilities
Henka Beam: This is a technique given to Buu when the blob of puttalin that he once was absorbed the previous Dai Kaioshin. With this technique, Buu can aim his headtail at any target, and then just think of something, anything, that he wishes for them to turn into. Then, he fires a thin, continuous beam of pink ki energy, which, upon impact with the target, transforms them into the item of Buu's choice.
Sei Sei Regeneration: A puttalin trademark, this allows Buu to reconnect any part of his flesh to himself if it has been torn off. Like, if the monster's arm had been sliced off, Buu could reconnect it as long as the arm itself was still intact. Keep in mind, however, that the matter must be intact for it to be reconnected to Buu's body.

Techniques
Absorption: This is one of Buu's favorite techniques that can be used in two ways. The first way is that Buu rips off a part of his flesh and then sends it to envelope the target, and then reconnect the flesh with his body, absorbing their techniques and gaining a part of their likeness, such as clothes or distinguishing marks. The second method is when Buu uses Henka Beam, he can transform the target into a food and then consume them for the same effect.
Bubble Cage: Buu uses his antenna to fire at his opponent, and then the ki forms a sphere around them. The ki then turns into a special strong type of bubble gum which creates a cage that the enemy is unable to escape from unless they have something sharp or Buu touches the cage. This is a drawback if Buu accidentally touches the cage. Also, ki blasts can pass INTO the cage, but cannot come out.
Buu Ball: In this, Buu can fold himself into a ball and bounce forcefully wherever he pleases, bashing his opponent violently upon impact. He does this by tucking his upper torso between his legs, sticking his feet under his arms, and then using his antenna to give him a kickstart. He then rolls around and shoots a tiny Ki blast from his antenna when he wishes to start bouncing.
