Story:

This ship started off as a transport ship running trading supplies from planets in the North Quadrant to the isolated Frost #213 under the name ?Commencement?. The ship was taken over by rebels calling themselves the Independents and outfitted for combat duty against the Cold Empire and renamed the Midnight Rising and commissioned as the flagship of the Independent Space Force. It was given an extensive compliment of weapons as well as stealth painting. When the insurrection failed the ship was stripped of its armaments and given to a high ranking general in Frost?s Empire as his pleasure yacht. When he bought a new ship the Midnight Rising was traded in and picked up by Moira Yaku for research purposes. When she failed to meet payments one her ship Yamu stepped in and offered to clear her debts and allow her to continue her tests on the ship as long as he could use it for travel and she performed a small number of experiments upon his request.

Layout: The ship is divided into two levels, Level 1 being the top and Level 2 being the bottom half. Level 1 has a main hallway stretching it?s length and a secondary hallway that crosses like a ?T? at the back. Where the ?T? meets is the opening hatch from the Level 2. At the front of the main hallway is the bridge that has enough seating for four and enough room for two or three more to stand in. Between the bridge and the connection to Level 2 is a large galley with enough seating for around fifteen and stored provision to last ten people two months plus a well stocked bar.

The secondary hallway at the top of the ?T? has four quarters on each side giving up to eight people private accommodations aboard the Midnight Rising. Each room as a bed, small desk, a trunk, and a small closet and a communal bathroom and shower exist on each end of the ?T?.

Level Two starts at the front of the ship where the main cargo hold resides and the main hatch opens to the outside. On the right side of the cargo hold a stairwell rises as a shallow angle to the opening to the first level.

The back half of the ship?s second level holds a HoloDeck where Moira performs her experiments. The large room is loaded with holo-emitters and program channels tat allow her to simulate and instrument she can think of and have properly programmed in. These holo-emitters can be tuned to create a war room as well detailing a targets defenses in 3-D or simply used as a safe place to punch someone around as when not in use it is just a bare room.

Crew:

Moira Yaku- An human of unknown Asian decent, even to her, is the former owner and is now the chief science officer as well as second in command. She spends most of her time in the HoloDeck performing genetic experiments hoping to unlock the secrets of cell life and try to find a way to jump start evolutionary processes as well as dozen other nearly crazy projects.

Apollo: A Namek he is the pilot of the Midnight Rising. Seeing as the ship has a very advanced auto-pilot his job is quite cushy. While he can usually be found relaxing in the adjacent galley, do not be fooled, Apollo knows the Midnight Rising from bow to stern and can get the best out of his ship when he needs to.

Samm Cook: A very shapely brunette Sammantha?s body developed early making her very self conscious about her curves. Over compensating she tried to be as masculine as possible and was drawn towards what most consider a ?man?s work?. She quickly became a brilliant ship mechanic with an almost intuitive sense for what was broken amongst the myriad of parts that allow interspace travel. Samm puts up a hard exterior but underneath is still very feminine.
