Retracing my steps

[Olibu]

I'm switching back to Olibu. I have already been granted permission by Raditzu over PM to start on the Kai's planet, provided I can't do the Kai's quests. I didn't do a sample as I have already been Olibu before, but if you would like, I can whip one up. I also didn't fill two moves out, but I'll get those later.

History: After years of servitude to the earth, being its greatest hero Olibu was granted the option to spend eternity with the great King Kai. Olibu accepeted and spent many years with the Kai, growing to love him as a father. However, he grew tired of the life he lived with the Kai and yearned for his golden days of being a hero. Being such a hero, he was granted his wish to return to the living world, however, there was one request of the Kai.

A young woman by the name of Bulma was a reckless and careless girl, who somehow had earn a fondness to the Kai. Though he had only looked down on her, he cared for a life. And as fate would have it, she had done something very foolish. She had signed up for a tournament of sorts, one that would cost her her life. So Olibu left the Kai?s and set off to Earth, to save her from such a doomed fate.

Signing up for Dante?s Abyss Olibu began searching for the woman, who he found rather quickly. She was eager for the companionship, so they sat out to help each other through the dire times. Kai, always watching continued to warn Olibu of the woman?s troubles that followed her. However, Olibu carelessly pushed Kai out of his head, he felt that the woman could handle herself, besides he was there is need be.

In his time at Dante?s Abyss he met several other fighters many of which changed the outcome of Dante?s Abyss for the golden hero. He lost Bulma as the Kai feared he would, and when she died, a piece of him died as well. He had been put through many things in Dante?s Abyss, things that would change him forever. After a grueling defeat by the fiercest warriors in the universe, Olibu lost his own life.

The aged hero, the he shows now aging has had a long and tiresome life. He has retired to his second home, the Kais Planet.

Relationships:

Bulma: A precious human Olibu failed to protect. Her death in Dante?s abyss has haunted him ever since.

Kiliah: A young, strong black fighter who Olibu defeated in a spar, preparing himself for what lay ahead. Olibu has no ill will towards the man and hasn?t seen him since the tournament.

Retane: A Namekian who Olibu had considered his one true friend on earth since his return. The fighter quickly allowed his colors to show through as he attempted to kill Olibu, betraying his trust. These two have bad blood and a score to settle.

Kills:

Murasaki: This bastard of a ninja set Olibu into a deminsion of pissed off he had never been in before. The ninja known as Murasaki had caused Olibu grief and regret as he killed Bulma, which in turn sent Olibu into a rage where he slayed the ninja

Retane: The Namekian who Olibu trusted with his life. Though they had only known eachother briefly, he was the first to offer him kindness in the strange new world the earth had become. However, Olibu soon learned the man?s soul was tainted. Betraying Olibu the savage Namekian attacked Olibu, in an attempt to kill him. Bravely Olibu defended himself, causing the Namekian to fall before him.

Deaths:

Vegeta (w/ Metal Koola and Reijin): After going through so much Olibu, who was a shell of the man he was before, was cornered by the threesome power pack. They easily disposed of him even though, try as he might, Olibu went down swinging.

Best Moves:

Spirit Ball- Olibu summons a ball of ki that will explode on impact. However the trick to the technique is not the explosion, Olibu is able to control where the ball of ki goes with his finger.

Here is my other two moves:

Security Blanket- After having the devastating blow of Bulma?s death Olibu sore he?d make it so no one else he cared for would die. After extensive hours focusing his ki he has unlocked the connection between ki and life. Both are admitted from the body and both are connected, so focusing on the link Olibu forms a sheet of ki that looks like a blanket. He can then apply the blanket to an ally and protect them from harm as his own life force is connected within the ki. The blanket acts as a shield, however so long as Olibu lives the blanket cannot be destroyed, as it feeds off his life force. Vice versa, the pain inflicted on the blanket takes a toll on Olibu.


Vortex Tremor- Olibu summons all the capable ki in his body and unleashes it through his two hands like a Kamehameha. However, summoning more than your average blast Olibu is literally drained and unable to perform ki attacks for a moment. The Unleashed ki is so extensive that it is able to rip through the fabric of space and time. The beam blasts through dimensions, no longer on the same plane. However, the beam rarely gets off track as no matter what dimension it?s in it still seeks after the opponent. Thus, the beam can strike from any angle, ripping through the dimension to strike it can appear and reappear at any moment.
