[Old Zangya]

ZANGYA

Appearance:

Zangya is a female member of the Ader species, a non-transformer. She has greenish-blue skin and orange, flowing hair that she has let flow back flatly and straight in the back. She often ties it in a ponytail, because it extends down to her waist. She is elfin in her build, and does not look as if she is very strong. This is true?her main strengths come from her speed and her intelligence. Her eyes slant like that of a sinister creature, which reflects slightly on her personality. She also has long, pointed ears, resembling that of an elf; her arms and legs appear long considering her diminutive torso, but really they are not. Zangya stands at about five feet and three inches, and weighs in at about one hundred and eighteen pounds.

Personality:

Zangya?s personality, since the betrayal of Garlic Junior, has grown dark and apathetic. Her speed and intelligence are still her most valued attributes, but the spark of hope for a better life is gone. She no longer can bring herself to trust anyone, and as such, is not trusted very well herself; she is often exiled from friendships and has just taken on a more shadowy, sinister persona since the end of Dante?s Abyss 2007. She cannot stand her life, as she believes it to be like walls closing it on her. She is very sarcastic, but knows now not to overestimate the capacity of her power, or to over or underestimate the power of anyone else. She has grown wiser, but with it, she has grown sadder. She also despises it when she is looked upon as a ?damsel? because of her petite appearance, and as such, attempts to make it known that she is a strong woman.

Relationships:

Garlic Junior ? Their first meeting, in the dojo during the Dante?s Abyss 2007 pre-show, was not under the best of circumstances, considering it began in an altercation. However, upon him helping her when she was injured during the competition, Zangya has become fast friends with the little Makyo-jin, and just hoped that maybe he?ll help her get farther in the game. However, at the slightest sense of danger, Garlic fled from her, and caused her to never trust anyone ever again. She holds an extremely deep hatred for this man.

Celipa ? Though she does not know this Saiya-jin very well, she most definitely recalls the first time they met. It was in Dante?s Abyss 2007, when Celipa caught the Ader-jin by surprise and blasted the whole left side of her face up with a chi shotgun. As such, Zangya?s mind has been pulled off of Celipa since the incident with Garlic Junior, but she still holds a dislike for the woman, and would not submit to allying with her unless it was of absolute need.

Bardock ? The only time she has ever met this Saiya-jin was during Dante?s Abyss 2007. He killed her with her own weapon. However, Zangya could not currently care one way or the other about this particular person right now, as she blames Garlic Junior for betraying her to her death. However, Zangya still dislikes the Saiya-jin, but, she realizes that he overpowers her to a great degree. She would not submit herself to challenging him unless the odds were somehow tipped in her favor in the battle.

Best Moves:

Moon Dagger ? Named for the group of assassins that Zangya had once worked for, using this technique, the Ader charges her crescent-moon-shaped dagger with her chi, and then swipes it in mid-air, sending crescent shaped slices of energy at her foe. The slices can cause either knock back, or, very rarely, cuts in the enemy. Zangya prefers this technique over many, and uses it frequently when she is in possession of her weapon.

Lady?s Vision ? This technique is another that Zangya likes ? using it, she can use her eyes to lock onto a target, and then send a beam of chi from each eye which is powerful enough to slice through the strongest mountain and knock back the strongest warriors. This technique is Very useful when the opponent or target is unaware of Zangya's presence or unsuspecting of an attack. This is one of Zangya?s moves, but if she overuses it, then she cannot control the direction of the eye beams.

Trap Shooter ? A technique learned throughout her days with the mercenaries on Mercy-sei, Zangya uses this technique to conjure a large, emerald orb and then fire out of that larger orb several smaller jade orbs of energy, which then close in on her foe and home in on them, causing a near inescapable explosive effect which causes severe knock back. Zangya has recently discovered how to control the paths of these chi blasts, and so she can fire them at multiple opponents at once.

Bardock ? Fake Death
During Dante?s Abyss 2007, Bardock snuck up on Zangya and her partner, Garlic Junior, in the evening and killed her with her own weapon. She was quickly transported back to the Dante?s Abyss Compound for teleportation off of the planet Dante.

History:

A creature of mysterious origin, Zangya had been living her life on Vejita-sei relatively peacefully for some time when she had a scuffle with the argumentative bartender of the Full Moon Pub, which ended with him receiving a bloody injury in the shoulder. Afterwards, Zangya fled from the pub back to the Monkey?s Tail Hotel, where she overheard two warriors speaking of a televised competition called Dante?s Abyss 2007?a fighting tournament that was having sign-ups today at the Full Moon Pub! The jade-skinned woman, though she dreaded returning to the pub, tailed the two and took them out shortly before reaching the sign-up stand.

At the stand, she received a clipboard and once again got into an altercation with the bartender, and finished him off, impressing the young female receptionist. After finishing, she was brought down by the fact that a new receptionist was there. When he mocked her, she showed him the receiving end of her techniques, while slightly frightened the former receptionist, who was just leaving her shift. The woman was forced to come back to her shift, and told Zangya to head over to the teletube, where she was whisked away to the planet Dante.

There, she ?improvised? when she found that her room did not include a kitchen, but was shot down when one of the producers himself came down to tell her that she wasn?t allowed to decorate her room. And with that, she headed down to the dojo for some exercise. In the dojo, Zangya met a goblin-like man named Garlic Junior, with whom she sparked an immediate rivalry. The two battled each other, with the blows going both ways. In the end, the fight came to an abrupt halt when they were both asked to head to the barracks?they?d been accepted.

Soon, however, the competition was on. Zangya began her trek alone, but soon, she met up with her first encounter. Celipa, a female Saiya-jin, snuck up from behind her whilst she was scouting the island and blasted her with a chi shotgun, resulting in the left side of her face getting scorched, and her left ear getting blow right off of her cheek. Afterwards, an injured Zangya encountered Garlic Junior yet again, except this time, instead of being shown hostility, she was faced with an offer to align. Accepting hesitantly, the pair quickly clicked, and became fast friends along the road towards the Dante Island cemetery. However, in the cemetery, something horrible happened to Zangya?Garlic fled at the slightest hint of danger. An act of betrayal in Zangya?s eyes that caused her to be eliminated from the competition by Bardock.
