Roleplay:
The ebony wooden chair creaked as Piccolo leaned back on it, the front legs separated from the floor, his feet firmly planted on the table in front of him. His right arm hung loose to his side, brushing over the floor with the tips of his fingers, while his left hand firmly grasped a small pouch from the air and tossed it up again. He repeated the process a few times until he heard a voice to his left.
''You've been doing that for the past three hours, Piccolo,'' A familiar voice said, sounding concerned, ''Is something wrong?''
Piccolo's fingers clamped around the pouch again. He paused for a moment before tossing it up again, his mind racing with thought.
''Leave me alone, Rezuare.'' replied the Namek.
''I'm afraid I can't. Guru sent me. He said he wanted your answer, whatever that means.''
The emerald fighter glared at the person before him, his legs pushing against the desk so the chair fell back. He made a smooth back flip and landed softly on his feet, standing up to his full length. Rezuare towered above him, although he wasn't considered small at home.
''Alright, lead on.'' Piccolo said softly.
Both Nameks made their way down to the end of the hallway. Rezuare motioned to the left as there was a flight of stairs.
“Up there is where you will meet Elder Guru” spoke Rezuare. Piccolo nodded and made his way up the stairs and up to a quite hefty sized door.
He opened it and entered.
''Young one,'' He said with a nod, welcoming the Namek before he could even say a word.
''Master Guru,'' Piccolo responded, nodding as well.
''Have you reconsidered my offer?''
Piccolo pulled the pouch out of his pocket and threw it into the air once again. Upon catching it, he opened it by means of a small string attached to the opening and peered inside, something he hadn't done yet, knowing the contents. His hand reached in and took out the item inside.
''This,'' He said, rubbing the item between his thumb and index finger, making it drop down into its pouch, ''This is what's so important?” he asked.
“Yes, that very item you hold is the mark of the Namek Loyalty, it resembles the royal bloodline of us Namekians.” he replied calmly. “If you let me infuse this into your bloodline you will become the new Prince of Namek.”
“But Master Guru, am I worthy enough to become the new Prince? I mean I'm only seventeen years old, I have much to learn...” he said with doubt.
“With this item fused with you, you will automatically learn how to fight like a Namek Elite, so please young one, have no worries about your protection.” said Guru.
“Well...I will accept this great offer and become the new Prince of Namek”. Piccolo replied.
“Very well...come closer so I may fuse this item into you.” Guru spoke as he waved his hand to Piccolo. The young namek walked closer to Guru and knelt down in front of him. Master Guru took the item and placed it on Piccolos head, then he placed his hand over the item. With a little chant the item began to glow and eventually after a few minutes a large flash erupted around the room.
Once the flash cleared Guru removed his hand and looked down at the new Prince of Namek, a bright white aura engulfed Piccolo.
He was indeed the new Prince of Namek...and it felt good.
“Wow...this feels really great...I think I can handle this” Piccolo said confidently. Guru smiled and nodded. Piccolo slowly turned and headed out the door. Rezuare was waiting, as soon as Piccolo stepped out of Gurus lair he knew there was something different about his namek friend.
“Are you...are you the new Prince” he asked in shock.
“I' am...” he replied.
