Can posts from multiple threads add up towards obtaining a tech?

If that were the case couldn't I just say:

Yeah so all my posts from when I started til now were really me training for healing, so I should get it.

I'm just giving an example. Unless it were you training, then you stated you're taking a break and left that thread to RP with someone or do a quest, then went back to that thread. Training for a tech, in my opinion, should be along the same storyline whether they are together in one post or you training from planet to ship to planet. Your character should be trying to achieve said tech.

As long as they are related to your training in some way then they can count. But you can't count posts that are like if you pause training to go to a saga or anything.. it wouldn't count til you resumed the training.

But like 18 said, you can't really just say: "well the whole time during ____ saga I was training for ____ tech so that's like 345 posts so why don't I have it?!" etc

I had done things involving me training for things like Healing Technique over the course of a saga, and at a point in the saga I was given the Tech for earning it during. I don't see a problem in doing something similar as long as it makes sense.

Post links to all of the threads that you think should go towards your training, Retane.

I believe the cases should be for review. However, they won't count towards your "train for two weeks" if you aren't doing it consecutively, but they will greatly count towards your acceptance when looked at.

I haven't started training for it further. As you should know I am one that does things on a whim. Every time I've started or thought to try and train for it, something comes up.

Of course if I restart something after the New God saga... and then my short attention span kicks in when someone else throws me a bone... I'd like want to be able to be able to return to my training afterwards. Even perhaps entertwine the training within other threads.

I've got a storyline idea that might perhaps be even able to span many threads for Retane...

Like certain NPC's trying tofight him within his mind... IE the brief scenes you saw in the DA Preshow were supposedly in Retane's mind.

It's a technique I could really use to further my character... even got a move ready for it after I get it, which revolves around the Reaper and death thing I've got going on now.
