Does it change?

I have a question, which most of you probably assumed since I'm posting here in the first place. =P

I was talking to my cousin who frequents forums set up similar to Chubbs and the talk turned into somewhat of an argument so I figured I'd ask you guys just to straighten things out. If a person asks a question in a thread regarding a topic, then recieves his answer but then is in need of an update, does he have to make a new thread for the update or can he have it updated from that same thread?

I'm not trying to be impatient about my thread, btw. It's just that I was called stupid so I needed to figure out if I actually did something wrong or not, lol.

Thanks in advance to whoever answers this.

It doesn't really matter. You can post in the same thread, however, most update threads (in the update board) are locked once the update is finished.

A lot of people ask a bunch of questions in one thread, and some members can post in that thread asking similar questions, even if it's staff only, as long as it's about the same thing.
