This is just a reminder for anyone that might be doing otherwise. Its a very general reminder with no intention of singling anyone out for ridicule.
We've noticed lately that a few roleplayers are back to doing things like adding "(continued)" to the end of roleplays, and we'd like to ask you to stop doing that.
This includes other things like making any form of roleplays that might do things like this: (rulebreakers are bolded)
Quote:When we last left our hero, he was being harassed by the Super Squad. He had barely managed to escape, cleverly outwitting his opponents by inciting a bar fight that gave him the cover he needed to get out the door. Now, the story continues...
Earth Military Space Station
Year 2020
"Someone is gliding in fast, Lt. Should we shoot them down?"
The military officer chewed his cigar for a moment while digesting his thoughts in private. "No..." he said after a moment, pulling the cigar out of his mouth and gesturing with it to the computer screen. "Hail them on all frequencies and order them to dock their ship here for inspection if they wish to cross into our space. Or if they prefer, they may choose to flip their ship around and warp back out."
The soldier in question immediately relayed the message over the intercom to the incoming vehicle and awaited its response...

Moments Later...
Sara yawned as she outstretched her arms, reaching for her toothbrush after her nap. She had only just finished squeezing the paste onto the instrument when the speakers in the entire ship erupted with the military protocol.
Hearing the loud crash, Rock rushed into the room only to find Sara glowering at him with a half a tube's amount of paste covering her face. "Oh wow," was all he could think of, laughing loudly at the situation.
"Wow is right, asshole," she snapped, reaching out and grabbing him by the shirt before dragging him off to respond to the hails.
*To be continued*
For the most part, the best way to understand what is allowed by our current rules and what isn't is to ask yourself if it is addressing the reader directly. Anything
"breaking the fourth wall" is not considered to be an in-character part of the roleplay, and should be kept out of all posts.
**There is an exception in that you will see this done by staff members occasionally in pretty much all sagas but (hopefully) only when they are using a special account set aside for saga leading events.**
Anything like a diary post style date/location line, or other type stuff should either be modified to fit into the title bar of a reply or post, left out entirely, or posted in the RPG Discussion thread linking to said roleplays for further information. We understand that you may find this ridiculous, tedious, or inconvenient, but all we can do is to apologize and ask that you please do this.
Thanks again.
