Tauren Paladins? ROFL MAO

That trailer looked pretty awesome, though. The setting, mainly, the new races and stuff look stupid and lame.

I think the new races are cool, and I like the idea of class proliferation.

I'm curious as to how they're gonna pull off a race that's human 50% of the time and a furry lubbable creature the rest of the time. Imagine if they get specific stats at certain times.

I personally hope this is all a huge joke.

Why are we doing Heroic SFK -now-? Didn't we do all that work to kill Arugal in Northrend?

So if the new expansion pack is going to revamp all the old areas, how are the people who don't buy the new expansion pack going to be able to play? They said it's not going to be instanced, it's going to be replaced.

And flying mounts in Azeroth? THE GANKING ON PVP SERVERS

CAN YOU IMAGINE?!?!

The areas will most likely be changed where or not you have the expansion. You just won't be able to use any of the new races or go into any of the new zones without the expansion.

The panel said they're replacing the new zones, not phasing, as far as I know.

Worgen WOOT.

Blizzard is racist btw.

Spell Worgen backwards and put it in place of the quest called,

Worgen in the Woods in Duskwood. >.>

The Worgen in Silverpine also drop watermelons.

I'm slipping ...

Where's Jaxx to tell me I'm a loser to even think about going back when I need him?

It's time like these when you consider just how far you want to nail this secret racist joke because I didn't even consider watermelons as being part of it, nor that worgen sounds like Negrow in reverse, more so because I always thought of them as walking worgs (afaik worg came before worgen in terms of creation)

Not saying it isn't a particular unfortunate thing in particular because apparently Arugal is some anagram of some infamous racist or something something other. I read a thread about it on the World of Warcraft forums, but I've misplaced it (or it got locked).

In any case, Orion how is this making you come back? No seriously? I just quit (again, fyi) and I actually feel like a literal force of fail is pushing me away here.

TAUREN PALADINS, HOOOOO, YET ANOTHER CLASS EXPLAINED BY 'TAKING THE ELEMENT, @!%^ING IT UP AND STILL ENDING WITH THE SAME RESULT AS BEFORE I TOUCHED IT'.

Bah!

Well admittedly, I thought it was retarded that blood elves were paladins, and I don't really see the logic of making Taurens them too, why don't the Alliance get another race that can be shaman?

But I'm out of games, having just finished Prototype, my 360's still getting repaired, and I'm not interested in any of my games on the Wii atm. I'm only playing Chronotrigger on the DS and L4D on the PC, and just thinking about getting back into WoW was like 'ooooh, haven't done that in a while.'

The main reason I quit in the first place is because it takes an absurd amount of time to gear up in the end game. I left around when Ulduar first came out, and to even have a shot at the good gear (note: a shot at it, not even sure of getting it) you have to spend ~4 hours to complete the place. When you do that and consistently get fail pub groups or keep missing out on the gear you want ... snore.

But now I feel refreshed and I'm scared. Sad

With university now finished, the urge to take up WoW again is pretty tempting. Though it would be a lot MORE tempting if I could transfer my characters to a European server. I haven't resubbed since I logged off after buying my flying mount in Burning Crusade (which I enjoyed even as a mostly solo thing, though back then I had a great casual guild too). Doesn't help that I was waiting for Northrend since the game was released.

Must .... resist ...

Uhm. I'm not a fan of lying, but gear is easier to get than ever due to some new instances being ridiculously easy to do that you get Marks of Conquest from.

T8 from doing heroics basically. It can hardly be easier at the moment, since this expansion is in the 'running late' end, equal to TBC's introduction of the Isle of Quel'Danas.

At least imo.

EDIT: Oh Kaden, just noticed your question now. I'm not saying there's something wrong with taurens. I'm fine with a class being created to be the same as other classes in order to improve game balance, except that maybe taurens racials + the already insanely ouchy paladin might prove to be imbalance, but other than that I'm fine with it.

If they actually bothered to go through with the change. They claim the taurens are praying to their sun god and by doing that gaining similar powers to paladins who follow the Holy Light, or in the blood elves' case a kidnapped N'aaru who they then gain the powers of. I'm fine with all them getting a sap of similar power, but I want there to be some sort of effort. I want Holy Light to be renamed into something Solar. I want the effects changed. I want the tauren paladins to be tauren solar worshippers. I just want them to be different than the standard paladin, because the element isn't the same, even if it's close. I'm basically just saying different SFXs and different names and I'd be fine with it.

But that's not what they do.. =/
