I was doing the regular rounds on the Internet and came across this, courtesy of nuklearpower.com

Supposedly, it's a better game system than d&d4.0, and all of the information you'll need to play can be found online. Then I remembered there was some kind of d&d forum here. Never liked to play these games myself, but the character creation was at least fun material for writing now and again. :O

I have zero experience with Pathfinder but I've heard good things about it. And all the information you need to play anything is technically online. It seems Pathfinder is an actual sold product though.

While we are at it a PnPRPG system I've been really sweet on for a while now is Legend of the Five Rings. Its basically DnD crossed with Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

When in doubt: It was sarcasm.

If throwing around tabletop games is the "in" thing suddenly, then let me jump on the bandwagon early by mentioning that this year makes it a full decade since I went looking for chatroom dice software and ran into the Returner's HQ (still the best accident I've had to date), a Final Fantasy theme fan-made remake of the DnD principles. Back then they were talking about grand schemes of a complete first edition. This year they celebrated the release of their third edition.
