Just thought I'd stop in and say "hi!" since I haven't talked to most of you in a long while. Just as an update, for anyone who's interested, I just recently signed up for the Marine Corps. I got a 69 on my ASVAB, but they won't accept me right away since I only have my G.E.D. However, when they decide they will accept people with G.E.Ds, I will be one of the first that they contact, since I scored so well on the test.
So, what's been crackin' for all you crazy Chubbs people?

Not much. But just an FYI, its very, very unlikely that they're going to accept anyone with GEDs anytime soon. I know our Navy recruiter about LOLed when someone came in with a GED trying to get in.

69 is an awesome ASVAB score. I hear the average is, like, in the 30's. And the G.E.D. thing depends on the area. Some will overlook it as long as you have 'x' amount of college credits. Unfortunately it doesn't look like you're in one of those areas.
By the way, I've been role-playing, so you have a lot to catch up on!

Each state has a certain number of GED educated soldiers they can enlist, kind of like a quota for each year. There's a possibility there's room for you. I'd suggest visiting again if you're serious, maybe even askin' about the circumstances which would allow you to.
