[Kill Town]

Gamer

Real Name: Keith Summers
Age: 19
Physical Description: That scrawny blonde-haired kid with the thick-rimmed black glasses that everybody cheated off of in science class. He stands at approximately 5’7” and weighs somewhere in the ballpark of 145 lbs. He wears the standard uniform of the school that he attends— a shirt and tie, dress slacks and shoes, and a navy blue sweater that he wears over his shirt. He’s starting to get zits on his cheeks.

Short Bio: Keith grew up the son of an extremely wealthy businessman, Richard Summers, who was one of the handful of humans to actually branch out into galactic affairs, while most other businessmen were either oblivious to or afraid of the possibilities—and risks—that space provided. With the almost unlimited resources that his father’s wealth provided, Keith undertook an interest in robotics and engineering, in addition to his already vast knowledge of the sciences. When his parents died suddenly of unknown causes, he inherited everything, while his sister was left out to dry. He’s literally a trillionaire at this point, and instead of being active in business affairs, he had chosen to hole himself up in his mansion and the 640 acres that surround it. Nobody, save for a few strictly underground organizations, knows about Kill Town and what Gamer has planned for his “guests.”

Personality: Gamer is incredibly self-absorbed, and seems particularly impressed with his own intelligence. He is still, however, just a kid at heart, and is extremely immature for his age. He is prone to hissy fits when something doesn’t go his way. He does not have the most intimidating physique, so he never meets other people unless he’s inside of his robotic armor, which strangely resembles a Gundam.

He is an avid gamer and otaku, and frequently makes mentions to both mediums, although he often misquotes or mixes references.

Yuffith

Real Name: Julia Summers
Age: 17
Physical Description: She’s quite the looker, with fair skin, bright blue eyes, and long locks of blonde hair that falls past her shoulders. She stands at approximately 5’5” and 110 lbs. She also wears the standard uniform of her academy, with a white dress shirt, a slender black tie, and a black skirt with matching stockings and shoes.

Short Bio: Julia was born the youngest child of Richard and Karen Summers. She was “daddy’s little girl,” so to speak, and was someone who her father was never ashamed to introduce to other people at parties. In other words, she was the opposite of her brother. Like Keith, however, Julia stood to acquire quite a bit of money from her parents if and when they eventually died, though she walked away with nothing after their sudden and unexpected death. Due to her love for her brother, she never voiced a single complaint, and ended up living with her brother in the aftermath. She was the victim of Keith’s paranoia, though, and was placed in the “prison” of his massive graphic simulator, which he had built himself after years of experimenting. She has been living rather comfortably, as it turns out, but she has essentially been locked away for months.

Like every inhabitant of Kill Town, she has been given a codename by Gamer. Her particular one is said to be taken from the game “Final Fantasy VII.” Although Julia has never even touched a video game, she’s fairly sure that he got the reference wrong.

Personality: Julia is quite polite and sophisticated, and during the months that she has been a captive within Kill Town, she has developed a timid demeanor, likely a product of only being able to talk to her robotic butlers and her brother on occasion. She is unsure of her brother’s intentions, and although she naturally bears some resentment towards him, she still loves him and would do nothing to harm him, even if the chance came up.

Baller

Real Name: Lance Kelly
Age: 19

Physical description: Lance is tall and lanky, standing at about 6’2” and 170 lbs, with dark skin and buzzed black hair. He’s fairly lean and strong, but he has fairly unimpressive motor skills. Like his classmates Keith and Julia Summers, he wears his academy’s standard uniform—a shirt and tie, dress slacks and shoes, and a navy blue sweater that he wears over his shirt.

Short Bio: Lance and Keith have been friends since early childhood. They met through their ridiculously wealthy parents and quickly developed a close bond due mostly to two things: their similar interest in robotics and computers, and the fact that neither of them had many friends. Lance enjoys playing with Keith’s Kill Town program and is convinced that none of it is real, completely oblivious to the truth. He serves as Gamer’s primary enforcer, keeping the “programs” in line if their AIs start to stray.

His codename, Baller, was given to him by Keith. Lance is actually pretty offended by the name, since he doesn’t even like sports.

Personality: In real life, Lance is fairly laid back and has quite a bit of a sense of humor. In Kill Town, however, he enjoys inflicting pain on unsuspecting participants, and tries to act, as he calls it, “totally BA.” His conscience doesn’t get in the way because he thinks that he’s just playing with AI, and therefore there are no consequences in being cruel.

Other notes: Baller has been given several abilities for his role as “enforcer.” In addition to the massive bastard sword that he wields, he has innate control over fire and can bind metal. His strength, speed, and defense have all been boosted to superhuman levels and possesses a CA of roughly 15,000.

Kepler

Real Name: Kurtis Stone
Age: 32

Physical Description: He looks like a Keebler Elf. Google it.

Short Bio: Kurt Stone is a former counter-intelligence operative who had found out about Kill Town accidentally while searching for something else on the web. Driven to try to do something about it, he attempted to inject a virus into the system, but was captured in the process. Infuriated by the situation, Magnus trapped Kurt in the prison along with Julia Summers and turned his likeness into that of the Keebler elves. Kurt is attempting to hack his way out, but the chances come too few and far in between for him to have much hope.

Personality: Kurtis constantly goes into fits of rage, borne mostly from frustration and pure embarrassment over how he looks. He has somewhat of a counter-revolutionary spirit, always talking about battle plans and talking about his dreams for the future. He also has a tendency to talk in a gruff, sergeant-like voice, perhaps to belie his cartoonish appearance.

Magnus

Real Name: Magnus Caroline
Age: 25

Physical Description: Magnus stands at about 5’10” and 180 lbs, with pale skin and black hair that falls over his green eyes. He almost always wears dark clothing, wearing a trench coat and large boots. He is fairly buff despite the condition that he seems to be in—he is almost always in a cold sweat, and has heavy bags under his eyes. It’s apparent that he rarely sleeps.

Short Bio: Magnus is somewhat of an enigma, living alone and as secretively as he can as a hacker. He met Keith online, and began to meet frequently after meeting in real life, hoping to pool their resources to fulfill their hefty ambitions. Magnus is the co-designer of Kill Town, and is constantly logged in. Nearly everyone believes this man to be a bad influence on Keith, although they are rarely seen talking to each other in public.

Personality: Magnus rarely talks, preferring to stick to the shadows more than anything. He is a pessimist, he is a narcissist, and he is seemingly emotionless for most of the time.

Mixie

Real Name: N/A
Age: N/A

Physical Description: Mixie’s avatar is a beautiful brunette with tanned skin who appears to stand around 5’8 with a lean figure. She wears a skin-tight navy blue leather suit.

Short Bio: Mixie is an AI program, meant to be a player assistant and guide. She will appear whenever she is called for, and can appear in several places at once. Very few things go on without her notice, and she frequently relates updates to Gamer. She is designed to be comforting and easy to talk to, with an attractive appearance and personality. She is an advanced enough program to feel pain and emotions, and make her own decisions for the most part. She is still mostly under the power and influence of the co-admins Gamer and Magnus, however.

Her codename is a Disney reference, though Gamer mixed the names “Minnie” and “Trixie” together when programming her.

Personality: She is personable and chatty, and occasionally flirty with men. She enjoys laughing, and although she sometimes disagrees with some of the things that Gamer and Magnus do, she does not question them out of respect as their roles as her creators.
