Seriously Thinking of Rejoining
#1
What's up guys. So in my days of laying around doing literally nothing, I have come to miss writing a lot and need motivation to write again because I plan on authoring several novels in my lifetime and need to brush the dust off these ol' fingers. Summer is about to be here as well where I'll be working full time but living in a small town not doing shit as my girlfriend will be an hour and a half away and most people will be going home for summer.

So I was thinking of coming back here (Or Swords Honor but I was much more active here and don't know anything about SH anymore or if it's even around).

Anyway, any tips or things I should know about before joining? This is a serious thread by the way.

April Fools assholes, fuck that I'm not coming back.

Just kiddin', I just realized it was April 1st and figured I get the April Fools outta the way, it's just a coincidence that I'm posting this today.

I feel like your April Fools confused me.

Are you or are you not considering rejoining, for clarification purposes?

I'm going to assume it's serious for the purposes of this response: do it.

Just look at the best-case and worst-case scenarios. Best-case you reinvest yourself in a community of writers, honing your skills while getting to play out interesting and exciting scenarios that test your abilities.

Worst-case you spend an hour thinking of a character and then become inactive again.

From your initial post, it sounds like you have an hour to spare.

EDIT: It's quite like this actual post. If you're serious, then hopefully I provided a helpful opinion. If it's a joke, I'm out 30 seconds.

I don't really think you need us to tell you. You obviously want to come back, so come back.

If you read my name, Vad, you'd see that I am/was Tapion. I was Tapion, then went inactive and somebody took Tapion. I'm Jack's friend Evan who he came to college with.

And yes this is serious. What are things I need to know as well? This character creation is intense as fuck now.

I felt like being an asshole.

Character creation's not that intense. You allocate percentages that add up to 100% and then pick two abilities, basically. Staff gives you 5XP and [?] zeni to start out with and basically you just... make someone from there.

What are your character ideas? We might be able to suggest stats/abilities for you.

Making a badass/more evil character half android half human(or Saiyan can't decide) that doesn't remember what happened to him but he was in a big accident or something and was outfitted with android parts (hence half android). I'm probably going with Dark Ki and Inner Strength if it's possible to obtain other abilities (had to pick between those as well as Foresight and Combat Teleportation). I have a few storylines in my head for personal storylines that I'd like to have some fun with and yeah.

Like yourself, I too was someone who contemplated whether to rejoin or not and came back after a long hiatus. The only piece of advice I can give you is to give it a try.

I personally did not regret the decision and I doubt you will either.

If you're worried about Custom Techs, I don't think Inner Strength is the way to go.

I'm glad you're considering coming back. The more the merrier.

On a slightly darker note. Where the hell is Will when you need him. He'd eat this thread alive.

I miss him =(

Bizzzatchh~!

That's about my biggest accomplishment around these parts, being the 'other Tapion'. In a way, that should make you proud Big Grin

Well I did it. This should be an interesting go about. I am a prime example for everybody:

You ALWAYS come back to Chubbs.

Love how what just happened happened no earlier than 10 minutes after you rejoined Chubbs.

Yeah so literally after posting my thread in the joining forum I get a knock on my door and I get arrested. If that's not a sign to stay the fuck away from Chubbs I don't know what is.
