Yeah I do, I'm not like a huge Shakespeare fan, but I like Hamlet, Macbeth, and Othello.

Not a huge one though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet_%281996_film%29 <- That was my favorite film version, but this new one seems to be my new favorite.

Pffft. Liking Hamlet, Macbeth, and Othello hardly counts.

I liked those and I largely dislike Shakespeare's works.

EDIT: I do like that the Firefox spell-checker knew his name, though.

I love Shakespeare. Like, with a passion I can only call religious.

Hamlet's my favorite, and yeah, the Ken Branagh movie takes the cake. I'll have to watch the David Tennant version.

Julius Caesar is the gay man's Shakespeare.

I didn't think it was a battle...

I liked Othello. It was taught to me Freshman year and it was the only A+ I ever achieved that year. However I haven't seen it since due to my teenage nature so it's a bit vague.

Hamlet is an amazing story in my eyes. Favorite part would be the play that they put on showing the assassination.

Now to defend Julius Caesar. I like ancient history; a lot. Considering most of what Shakespeare wrote about Henry and Caesar was based off of fact, I was inclined to pick up the plays on Itunes.

The Battle of Agincourt and Caesar's death. Both are big events.

I would like to clarify that I never said Julius Caesar was bad. I think it's great. It just is overloaded with, like, forty guys to two women. Hence, the gay man's Shakespeare.

Not true. Chaucer is the gay man's literature. Canterbury Tales? Please.

Shakespeare is as gay as you are straight.

Which is to say that you're as gay as the driven snow that has men in butt-less leather chaps having a romp.

Now that is the gay man's literature.

We did Hamlet in my literature class last year. We read half of it, then watched the Mel Gibson version. I would much rather see a version with Patrick Stewart.

Try studying him in an upper division college class and tell me if you still like him.

I, on the other hand, will be trying to get those years of my life back.

Yes, but typing it in a few months ago still makes you gay.
