I might hijack this thread to ask a question. Where is the "Mature" stamp applicable? I see some people use it when there really is no need for it.

It's up to the writer's discretion, mostly.
Graphic sex/violence/nudity are the only things we'd forcibly add the tag to.

In continuation of this question, do you mean specifically graphic violence/nudity/sex in the literal sense? By that i mean do i only need to apply a Mature tag if my actual writing is graphic, in example RPing out full sex scene? What about just implying graphic themes? I have implied, in my writing, that Alex was going to have sex with a prostitute (she is described as such) and have discussed heroin use. These are graphic themes, but i don't write them graphically, still if a 12-13-14 year old were to wander in and read my opening scene from Juno's saga which has Alex near-comatose in a heroin den with the materials around - but i'm not literally writing the graphic interaction - i feel like that could be a bad situation. So should i throw up tags for graphic themes as well?

The actual writing is what I was referring to. Alluding to graphic themes doesn't really require a tag, but if you're not sure, it's better to err on the side of caution, no?

True, i was just reading through some of my writing and realized that if i had a kid and they had read to a couple posts which alluded to heroin use and prostitutes, i'd be concerned. ya dig?

For sure.
If you want the tag added to anything, holla.

Explain how far you allow nudity and what not to go? Dont worry i am not going to turn my rps in to a sex fest. I just need to know for what my characters getting into.
I also think anything with an M tag should be age catargorized for people reading and such. But not sure if you guys got that type of coding on the site. To limit the M tag to 18 and up.

To limit the M tag to 18 and up. I don't think that's necessary. The whole point of the mature tag, IMO, is to warn the reader to read it at their own discretion. If we were going to block M roleplays from people under 18, we might as well have a Kame House roleplaying forum.
EDIT: And people like Vad would live in there, XD.

Dude im just curious becasue I was threatened to be banned for a single word in the wrong area that someone could view at will. Which guess wahat anyone can view any of rps on the main forum area before joining. If I want to get vivid the last thing I want is to be bad becuase some kids mom gets on and gripes.

There were at least two instances of sex in my personal story, and I didn't downplay it as much as I could have because I enjoy rping romance and i didnt want to just fade it out, you know? So i added a tag. I think its like kaden said, better safe than sorry.

As long as I dont get a lecture or anything im golden. This rp is heading south before it gets going. Im tired of dulling anything out my rps.

I generally get hawt and heavy quite often considering my character is married. If you're looking for a cut off point Clayz, I would suggest to write a scene like that and force the reader to use their imagination. If that makes any sense.
Very funny, Juno. Though I do not disagree.

Well what I was getting at is I dont want to have to cut it off if I dont need to on here. I dont really read everything everyone writes or has written so I was clueless. Still if you guys go all out then I see no reason I shoudln't. Still thanks for the idea. I may or may not use it some time.

Generally, you have to play it by ear.
Sayana was mentioned as being naked in Master Akiha's Task at one point, but the scene wasn't intended to be hot/heavy super sexual.
As a general rule, I only put [M] in my thread titles if I anticipate describing sexual anatomy.

I think its pretty much up to the writer, i think as long as you don't go too overboard its fine. I never got in trouble for what I wrote, so if you're ever curious I can show you what I did and you can get the general idea.

DEscribe overboard and I'll tell you if I planned to go that far. I am nnot going to right out five pages of him getting banged just a small love scene. Wiht some sex in it. Whether every physical description is in there or not is yet to be seen. ~scratches head~
