How does one acquire a ship? :gconfused:
Do I have to just pay the 10,000 Zeni for it?
Or can I RP myself building one?
Or do I have to do both?

I guess this applies to all items...

Ships have recently been re-done. You can make one if you so wish and travel to space whenever you wanted to, except if to pre-made planets. Then you have to pay.

You can roleplay yourself building one, doesn't cost anything to make it.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, if someone is on Earth, then flies off to an uncharted planet for a quest, then returns to Earth, there would be no landing fee associated.

Yeah I have. I was just wondering if you can RP finding or building items on that list.
And if you do, if you still have to pay for them.

Yes, you can RP finding or building one, but you still have to spend the zeni in the shop for it.

Otherwise no one would ever pay for anything.

I wouldn't have a problem with you buying the item and then RPing having to build it.

If you roleplay it as a job, I don't see how it couldn't and it's in your profession, I don't see how it wouldn't.
