Name: Seth Wade
Age: 27
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Starting Planet: Earth
Profession: Marshal (Law Enforcement)
Fighting Style: Cunning, Relentless
Short Bio: Seth grew up idolizing the characters in his western novels, wishing he too could be a hat-wearing, gun slinging, badge-carrying lawman. He excelled in marksmanship and eventually came to the realization that he had latent psychic abilities.
Like his father, a local judge, he was born with a strong sense of justice and knew early on he wanted to be a lawman. At the age of 22 Seth was accepted into the Galactic Marshal Services (GMS) Academy and graduated top of his class. For the past 5 years, Seth has been an ever rising star in the GMS, hunting some of the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy.
General Description: Seth is a man of average build standing just over six feet tall. His hair is of medium length, brown, and usually a mess hidden underneath his cowboy hat. The hat is usually black, but occasionally he dons the white hat.
Starting Abilities: Combat Teleportation, Foresight
Trait: Tenacious
Stats:
* Strength - 25%
* Focus - 10%
* Endurance - 40%
* Agility - 25%
Role-play Sample: A man with a worried expression on his face hurried through a crowded starport looking for his gate. His skin was sweaty, and clammy, and his eyes were wide and restless. They were always scanning the crowd, watching the employees, watching the security, watching anything suspicious. He reached inside his red coat pocket and felt the ticket tucked safely inside. His sweaty fingers ran along the edge of the paper as his gate number came into view.
He hurried toward the ticket taker and then handed her the ticket from his pocket with a forced smile. It didn’t fool her, but neither of them really cared. She scanned the ticket and waved him through. Finally a little relief began to flood the man with shaggy blond hair fashioned into the always stylish mullet. He was going to make it. He was almost to the ship, and that would depart soon, and he would slip through the net…out of sight, and hopefully out of mind.
Just as he began to enter the threshold, from around a sharp corner stepped a handsome man in a cowboy hat wearing a sly grin.
“Going somewhere, Mercer?”
“Get out of my way, Wade.” The man replied, visibly shaken. He longed for that moment of relief again.
“You know I can’t do that, Ralph. We can do this one of two ways. One, you’re going to come with me, peacefully, quietly, and nobody’s going to get hurt, or two, you’re leaving here in a body bag. Which one is it gonna be?” Seth Wade’s voice was rock-steady.
Ralph Mercer, an arms and drug smuggler, and part-time hitman, hesitated for a moment. He knew Seth Wade’s reputation. He was fast, unbelievably fast, or so they said. Ralph Mercer actually knew a few men in the criminal underworld who had lost their lives drawing steel with Marshal Wade, but going to prison simply wasn’t an option. He would kill Seth Wade here, or die trying.
His hand fumbled for the pistol tucked in the back of his pants, but before he could even remove it from the waistband he caught two in the chest. Seth Wade stood with his pistol drawn from the hip position, a small wisp of smoke exiting the gun barrel.
“God damn it…” Wade whispered under his breath as he approached and knelt near the dying Mercer. “I told you it’d end this way Mercer.”
