Was fighting npcs three 38's and two 34's while being only 33 myself, and ended up wasting them all with half health and mana left over.

It should be illegal to be a pally.

Are you insinuating that leveling is hard?

EDIT: You are fighting creatures that were tuned to characters that haven't existed for four years or more. Those mobs were not tuned for current day characters with tons of new or changed abilities and talents. That's from back when Mages had Wand Specialization.

Yo dawg where you playin'? I'm trying out Blackrock ATM as a troll shaman. I am pretty sure shaman is the ideal class for me, because it's all I've been playing lately. I am also really weirded out that I have a total of 2 characters on Blackrock, and 1 is a death knight I made named "Farmelf" just to farm materials to sell to establish some gold flow on Blackrock. WTF mate?

Yeah I know that, but even still, I am able to beat NPC's with much greater ease then I normally could with another class. I've played as warrior, priest, and dk you knowz.

Area 52 is pretty cool, but the battleground queue times for Horde are sooo long in that battlegroup. Bloodlust is def the fastest for Horde, and Horde tend to win a lot more, too.
