Simply put, this saga would be a valuable segue into the integration of a Conquest system for Chubbs, wherein an individual member or Alliance (or NPC, such as the Invaders) could have 'control' of a particular planet. What exactly that means is something that would have to be worked out; do they get a Zeni boost? Do they get planet-specific perks (such as all items purchased on that planet are 15% cheaper)?
Just wanting to start up a conversation here. If we do integrate a Conquest system, then this saga can indeed be entirely open-ended. Too, the system would provide a valuable frame for ruffling up the Chubbs Universe every once in awhile (if not thoroughly awesome). As it stands, we don't have enough reasons for members to fight each other. This might provide such a reason.

I was thinking that parts of each planet could fall each update (or all at once) and make areas dangerous our just plain suicide. Like if Ja City were to fall, but not the space port. It would make leaving the port really stupid if you weren't accompanied by soldiers and armored divisions.

Zeni would probably be the best reward for it.
This seems like just semantics, but I would prefer that we not have players conquer a whole planet. Something like an outpost or village or something along those lines.

Only problem with that is that Chubbs has, historically, been unconcerned with the location of members beyond the planetary level. Whether a person is in the spaceport on Namek or in some neighboring village can change from one post to the next (this goes in hand with the ability to fly at ten thousand mph).
Doesn't mean it can't work (obv), but it does mean it'll be quite abstracted from the writing and actions of the characters.

Depends on how we display it, really. Yeah, people are generally only concerned with things on a global level, but if there's only one "outpost" per planet then it becomes the same thing without the grandeur of conquering a planet that I would prefer to avoid.
We present it as "conquer this mining outpost to get profit" and then display it as follows:
Earth: Kaden
Namek: Kaden
Vegeta: Kaden
Mercy: Kaden
Frost: Kaden
Arlia: Meer
Accomplishes both at the same time, I think.

Alright.
That's a functioning system.
I'd like to see more, but that's something that would work, and would give (I suspect) enough of a payout for people to bother.
