I'm having a helluva time understanding Mal's writing.

He's jumping right into it though; I like that. Hopefully, when the time comes to update his endeavors, the direction he's taking will be clear.

The impact of an outnumbered unit begins to show. Some parts of the Militia ground force show the facial fear of a threatened rout. The Invaders, recognizing the fear, and the impact of the newly arrived warrior, rush in a full-on onslaught. This is a dangerous situation, and it is unlikely that Mal and his forces will withstand the might (though, if he kicks up the writing, he may).

If Mal chooses to stand and fight, he will be captured (not killed).

You're planned update is fine. I had a bit of trouble understanding, but I managed to follow what he was doing.

Mal killed the Warrior (commander). That irks me, but whatever.

UPDATE

I think he needs a loss. None to himself, personally, but in the saga itself. I think the tide of the battle should turn against him; the soldiers rout, the enemy presses on, Mal is forced to retreat. His writing hasn't been all that stellar, and he's only cranked out one (albeit, somewhat lengthy) post.

Buff: Upheaval (One Cycle) - Due to a recently lost battle, Mal Nova is currently in a state of upheaval. Depending upon his reaction, this upheaval can result either in Resignation (lowering his CA for the next saga battle) or Resolve (raising his CA for the next saga battle).

The idea behind this is that, for the next Cycle, Mal will be judged on his writing. If he doesn't write at all, Resignation. If he writes, Resolve. The percentage to which his CA is raised through Resolve will be determined by how good his writing is.
