I think there's a bit of confusion regarding the nature of Updates.
You shouldn't write to receive an Update. You should just write.
Updates are not there to bail you out of a weird, uninspirational spot. They are to depict the world's response to your actions. If you don't make any large, significant actions, you won't get much of an Update. If you don't put yourself in a place of danger, you won't get much of an Update.
If you do require some sort of nudging for writing, just PM me. We can brainstorm something up for your character. But don't depend on Updates for it.
The central point of this saga is member-driven storylines.
Just so we're all clear. If you aren't getting much of an Update and you feel like you should be, hopefully this explains what might be the rationale.
