What's official stand on the room? Can you use it in your stories and shit?

I can imagine you can. Probably won't change much of your stats, just used as rp fodder would possibly be fine.

I don't see a problem with it so long as it's just story. It would be good to see places like these used again. Course, an admin can always say otherwise ^^. I think the general thing is that so long as its story only, you can do pretty much anything, except with the DBs.

Are there any defenders there? I mean, I'm not technically allowed to see or interact with any of the old characters like Kame or Popo, so I mean... what's the deal there? Is anyone around to guard it? Is there any REASON to guard it?

Room of Spirit and Time

Located in one the rooms located on Kami's Tower this special room has distinct properties not seen elsewhere. Upon entering the time chamber you will be presented with the option to reset either your abilities or stats. For a flat fee of 75 XP you'll be able to change one ability. Any Custom Tech's related to that ability will be locked and unusable until said pre-requisite returns. For another fee of 75 XP you will be able to change around your stat percentages. Each time you wish to enter this room you may do one of the above options per use for all of the same costs.

I think that people using the Room of Spirit and Time as RP fodder and stuff would help bring back some of the DBZ-feel to the site, which was one of the things a lot of people mentioned that they'd like to see in the RPG changes thread. If people started utilizing Capsule Corp. in RPs (Prototype is now), Roshi's island, the ROSAT, and that tower with the cat/whatever then it'll start to unofficially recreate a more DBZ-esque universe. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure no one has used the ROSAT for the respeccing purpose, so it has, for all intents and purposes, been out of commission for a long time.

I mean, there really isn't any harm at all in letting people use it for RP fodder and if it'll help to create a more DBZ friendly atmosphere, which I think it would, then why not?

Feh. That's a pretty weak argument, Sid.

It's not like the RoSaT was open to any and all, at any time, in the DBZ manga/anime. It had a specific use, and the person using it often had a specific purpose. Keeping the RoSaT from becoming a promiscuous hub of personal storylines retains the DBZ flavor.

If you're not feeling the atmosphere of DBZ enough while playing Chubbs, the system is probably not to blame, but the lack of canons. And they aren't coming back.

The lack of DBZ feel is directly proportionate to how much DBZ people want to roleplay. A lot of characters have chosen a normal human with super powers scenario, with the vast majority of those focusing on having strong ki powers, so there aren't any grandeur flashy battles like there used to be. If you want a stronger DBZ feel, then by all means, RP it.

No one has used it yet =/= no one will ever use it.

It's there. It's well-removed from Chubbs-everyday-life. It has a specific purpose. It's use is very rare. That's about as good as it gets, seems to me.

Belle used it in preparation for the coming conflict with Kaden/Ander/Sage. That's why he's 38/1/38/38 now on his Str/Foc/End/Agi instead of 100/1/7/7.

Unfortunately, because of time constraints, it wasn't RP'd out.
