Hi everybody! Since I've been here for like 5 years, I decided to actually RP an original character.
Name: Kole T. Merr
Race: Human (as far as he knows, but actually half-Saiyan)
Age: 13
Sex: M
Starting Planet: Earth
Trait: Defiant
Abilities: Elemental Ki: Fire, Invulnerability
Bio: After being abandoned by his mother (who, unknown to him, was a Saiyan) and losing his father in a car accident, 13 year old Kole Tobias Merr is sent to live in a foster home, where his abilities develop, and he is forced to run away and live life on the streets.
Description: A typical 13 year old boy, may be described as “emo” by some. 5'4” tall, thin, with black hair.

Three years. It had been three long years since the night his life changed. Kole had been 10 years old the night that his father had been taken away from him. He could remember almost everything about that night, as if it had only happened the day before.
"Get in the car, you piece of filth," ordered Richard, Kole's father. Kole, having been waiting in the rain for a full half-hour, obliged, ignoring the insult from his father. "I don't know why she didn't take you when she left. What the hell did she think I was going to do with a kid? Jesus, what a bitch!" Kole climbed into the passenger seat of the aging station wagon, and reached up for his seatbelt, before remembering that the car no longer had them. Kole sighed, ready for another fantastic drive home from soccer. His dad couldn't care less that it was 50 degrees and raining outside, nor did he care about what Kole had to say.
"Hey, Dad, we won our game today. I even scored a go-"
"What the hell have I told you?" shouted Richard.
"'Never talk to you...ever'," quoted Kole, as if it had been drilled into his head for years on end. Kole's nose twitched as he detected a familiar scent: cheap whiskey. His dad had been out drinking, and for Kole, this usually meant another beating. It was strange, though, that every time his dad hit him, Kole never experienced any physical pain. Kole had been 6 years old the first time his dad had hit him, and he soon realized that the only way to get his dad to stop hitting him was to pretend that it hurt. Once, Kole had even called Child Protective Services on his dad, but since the social worker couldn't find any evidence of abuse, nothing became of it.
Kole looked out the window, keenly aware that they were traveling much faster than any other car on the freeway. With the torrential rain that hammered against the windshield as the only sound in the car, Kole settled in for another long drive back to the apartment complex where he and his father lived. Unfortunately for Kole, or perhaps fortunately, he would never see that tiny one-bedroom apartment again.
Kole felt a slight shudder from the car and glanced over at his father. Richard's bloodshot eyes were starting to droop. Kole had barely opened his mouth to speak when Richard passed out onto the steering wheel, dropping to one side. The steering wheel turned with Richard's movements, sending the car hydroplaning across three lanes of traffic. The car spun around several times, threatening to release Kole's lunch from its resting place. With no seatbelt to arrest his momentum, Kole was thrown about the car like a ragdoll, until the car came to a sudden halt. Kole threw his hands in front of his face, but that's all he could remember.
When he woke up, he was 20 feet from the car, which was now laying on its side against the guardrail. Sirens were going off all around him, and people kept asking him if he was okay. As Kole looked back toward the car, he saw his one side of the windshield covered in blood. Kole quickly checked himself, and seeing that, as usual, there was not a scratch on him, he came to the only conclusion that could be made: the blood belonged to his father. As Kole walked toward the wreckage, a feeling of freedom began to swell within him. Kole knew that he should have been horrified at the sight of his father's corpse, but a smile began to appear on his lips. But as Kole neared the car, one detail caught his eye, a peculiarity that he couldn't explain: the passenger side windshield had been completely melted away.
