Since announcing his position as Executive Assistant District Attorney, Waffuru had been the first at all their meetings, working hard with the MURDERVILLE police department to swiftly prosecute the killers. But not this morning.
They found him sitting in his chair. Face burned off. The mafia did not take kindly to those who stood up to them. The others shivered, knowing that tomorrow, it could be them.
