At the early morning check there was only one person missing. The townsfolk sent someone to check the house of the missing; John Doe. No one had wanted to go, so they sent Rose, because he was British. Rose cracked the door open and peaked inside... there were embers of a fire in the fireplace and he could see Doe sitting at his desk as the sunlight creeped through the windows. "John... are you home?" Rose spun the chair around to find John Doe, with his eyes opened wide, letter opener jammed into his forehead. I guess his house would soon be for sale.

John Doe was a towns person with an unloaded gun.

Jeez... everyone's being so quiet. Why play this game if you're not going to really participate? It'd be like playing CoD or something similar and just putting down the controller.

A controller? Console heathen. The most talkative person in the game was John Doe. The mafia has taken most of the activity by killing him. But now, I say we jump someone because we're losing this quickly.

I use a controller for Super Meat Boy, Darksiders, etc. that I play on Steam. Sometimes you need a good controller to make a game playable.

Now you might think that it would be stupid of Rose to point out that if he was mafia, he'd kill JD. But I like to take it one step beyond. What if it's really a British ploy in order for us to think "he's not stupid enough to do that " but in reality is EXACTLY "stupid" enough to do that so we wont lynch him! :O Unfortunately our detective Kami is gone so I'm unsure. : (

I also might leave JD alive because everyone knows he's crazy anyway, and nobody really jumped on the bandwagons before. There's no advantage to me besides "irritating", and if I was mafia, it'd be pretty hard to convince the other mafiosos to get someone to vote for just that reason.

There's all kinds of complex arguments for why it could make me mafia or not mafia. It's not cut and dry either way. That's exactly why I'd avoid killing him if I was maf. I'm gonna try and limit my defense to just this post, because otherwise it's going to start a convoluted train of arguments that'll end in me being lynched which is exactly what the mafia wants.

Just finished moving. I have internet at the moment, but it's slow and annoying me. Going to read through Day 2 and then post some thoughts here.

Ok. Reading back through the last few threads, the top on my "suspicious list" are Vad, Whompt, Orsalis, and Teemer. I'm operating under the assumption that there are three mafia, given the number of players we have, so those are in order of suspicion and, at the very best, one of those is completely wrong.

Ashe I am convinced is a townsperson. I'd explain why, but Doe already did that:

I feel incredibly uncomfortable lynching somebody who has repeatedly voted against himself. The only things the Town gets are negative, at BEST. Here's what'll happen:

A. He's just a townsperson, and we lose a townie, lowering our numbers.
B. He's a Town Fool, so he'll win by us lynching him. (What I suspect the most, at this time)
C. He's a Mafia bomber, or something similar, and will kill a random townie once he dies.
D. He's a Hunter, or something similar, and will kill the last person that lynches him.
E. He's actually some special role that we need, and we'll just off him.

I don't think a Mafia who doesn't have a special role that kills townies when he dies would ever vote to lynch themselves. That's why I'm not happy with voting for Ashe. I'd rather vote for Rose, who I suspect is Mafia.

Edit: Bout an Hour 20 left guys.

Rose I don't think is mafia, but needs to start using his vote more judiciously because, as numbers dwindle, it becomes more and more risky to lock yourself into a vote before everyone has had a chance to read the thread. At some point, whoever has an investigative role at some point is going to have to reveal themselves and you'll want to know what they have to say before casting a vote.

My suspicious list is based on behavior and voting patterns over the last three threads, so, sadly, I don't have much I can say to really back those up.

Also, there was some talk in the last thread about whether or not I was mafia because of my relative inactivity and not really voting. This past week I spent moving into a new house. The times when I wasn't physically moving furniture/boxes was spent drinking beer and doing absolutely nothing because that's how much energy I had left. Now being done with that I'll return to a more familiar level of activeness. So that's why I was disengaged from Chubbs. Also, you guys are bastards for killing Kami. He was a rock star helping me move.

Lastly, people who present any amount of logic in this game are generally chosen as targets for the mafia (I quoted a very reasonable and fairly insightful post of Doe's from the last day and look how alive he is now). So if there's a protective role out there that could hook me up this Night Phase, it would be pretty awesome. With just this post I think I've made myself an easy target.
