Ultimate Spiderman has always been awesome, and I have full faith that they'll keep up the great quality in this series.

I'm glad they're still using the Ultimates universe to mix things up and try out new stories and characters.

I'm going to go out and buy some comics when I get back to Greensboro. I want to find out how Peter bit it. Also want to get back into comics. I heard the Ultimate X-Men are sometimes controlled by Professor Xavier...that's all kinds of great. 'Jean...show me your bewbs *mind control*...'. Ahhh...yes.

I think people are backlashing more because he's not Peter Parker than anything else. The same shit happened with Ben Reilly, even though he's a goddamn CLONE of Peter Parker, and this is an entirely non-Peter Parkerian dude. My opinion: whatever man. Good to see some different Spider-men, we already know Pete's story. I liked Spider-Man 2099.

Not that I don't like Peter Parker or anything. He's a cool dude. I'm just so Goddamn tired of everything about the character revolving around Uncle Ben dying/Gwen Stacy dying/Mary Jane not putting out.

When I heard that someone was replacing Tobey in the new Spiderman movie I was like 'whaaaaaat.' Tobs did a totes awesome job of playing the Peter Parker 'affable nerd with superpowers' convincingly. Couldn't imagine someone else playing Parker. Still, I probably would'a had no issue going if I hadn't learned they were starting over again. Spider-Man gets powers, Uncle Ben, yadda yadda.

No thanks. I've seen that movie, remember? It was released in 2002, less than 10 years ago. Called Spider-Man.

Different director for these ones. Sam Raimi said he was done with the series. Though, I will miss the Bruce Campbell cameos. He's what made the movies great.

I like how Spectacular Spider-Man just skipped straight to him being Spider-Man, and explained the origin shit in brief flashbacks which were dotted into episodes. Man, season 2 ending was such a cliffhanger, can't wait for the OH WAIT THAT'S RIGHT THEY CANCELLED IT
