So is anyone actively writing/RPing/whatever on any sort of venue right now?
I want to get back into writing but I don't want to start a project with this much rust. I'd like to do something a little lighter first.
The DBZ thing seems pretty much done and although Anyria seems pretty cool... it's not really fun to write at a venue where nobody ever will see/interact with that material. Which sucks because it's clear a lot of work and thought went into it.
Anyway, yeah, that's it there. I wouldn't be as active as I was here back in the day but active enough, at least for a while, until I'm more confident about my own works.

Just write something mildly engaging and open-ended and put it in the Workshop. I think some people would turn up for that.

I'm trying to get writing again. I'm continuing RSR and me and Alex(Piper) have the startings of another writing project in the works.

I keep trying to write, I have the urge to write, but when it comes down to actually writing, my brain goes off in other directions like an ADHD kid at a theme park.

Spending time with the Empress out weighs writing right now. If it continues down this path it always will.

You refer to your girlfriend as the Empress?
I wandered back today looking to write as well, maybe we can get a little thing going.

Not even my girlfriend. Just a really close BFF friend who I happen to have a crush on/really like.
To answer your question though. Yes. I do.

I find it funny that Alex is the first person to comment on that. Everyone else has just been awkwardly cringing.

Uh, cool, then keep me posted, I guess (doesn't know what RSR is, either).
I think I'd be down for that, Alex. Could be fun to get somethin going.

Lemme rephrase this to be a little more calm and tactful. I've just lost a lot of respect for you Rose. I take a shot at how you treat another member and suddenly I'm your nemesis.
As for writing I'm planning on posting in RSR at some point this week. I have a lot of frustration I can pour into Vad so it's going to be one hell of a post.

I dont know how active this site is, but I plan on writing some DBZ stuff out. I recently went back and re-watched DB and most of DBZ (just watched the episode where Piccolo blows up the entrance into the time chamber with him, Gotenks and Super Buu...and by just watched, I mean like 2 weeks ago because Diablo III and poker at the local bar has kept me pretty busy) and it made me want to get involved in a DBZ RPG once again...
So if anyone wants to join me, im just a lonely kid out for vengeance that could use a hand, or at least someone to tell him he's a moron for wanting revenge...

I guess what he is saying is that he is a little offended that he is being negatively called out for his pet name for his friend/girlfriend. He is surprised that you would insinuate that we are all collectively disgusted that he has referred to this woman on a few occasions by this pet name, especially when he considered you a friend, and you would insult him in that manner, even if it was not intended.
Before this turns into something that it really should not, perhaps we should get back onto topic and leave it be. If anyone has anything negative to comment about, whether it is about pet names or anything else, please just keep it to yourself so that nobody is offended and we can all go on without turning topics into fighting.
Thanks.

I wouldn't mind writing. Bored enough to get back into it.

I'd be really interested in getting something communal going. I'm starting to find that I really feed off of the feedback of people I'm writing with. I love to collaborate and I think that it motivates us to become better writers. I think we're all friends the faceboo if that seems liek a good means of getting together?

I'll get AIM back up and running, and if anyone has any ideas for some communal writing, let me know.

The first thing we should all probably figure out is where we want to write. I'd be willing to write as Alex, or make a character in Anyria, or just write some communical thing in the workshop/some random forum we have made.

Perhaps you guys can group up, look up or come up with some kind of scenario, and write it out. Like, make a very generic plot and a couple of key points to hit. Just keep the posts short and sweet if you want it, but try to make a goal to hit per post or something. idk. For example, as a broad plot, perhaps a group of friends who have grown up together are finally graduating high school. That could even be the opening. Each person can take the role of one of these friends and just follow their lives from graduation, through college, and perhaps even through their relationships, and maybe interrelationships. Perhaps one friend is starting to dislike another and shares their feelings with yet another of these friends in the circle. Add some drama, perhaps that friend that is being discussed comes and confronts the other about the problem they have with them. Perhaps that friend ends the relationship. How would this guy or girl's dynamic with the rest of the group work? Etc.
Just throwing that out there. It's not really super fantastic with energy balls and shit like that, although that could certainly be woven in as an element of interest, but the entire thing would just focus on this group of people and their dynamics with one another through different stages of their lives.

I'm going to start writing in Anyria and pondering whether to cut off Joe in our Frost adventure, but I'm not sure how exciting my RNG-character on Frost would be.
