Bow down before me. I am at my dad's house and my brother has internet again ^_^ But that's not why I'm posting.
One of my brother's friends is living here because he lives too far away for work and crap but it's cool. But he brought over his Nintindo. The ORIGINAL Nintindo. Also a Sega Genensis.
I have been playing pac man, duck hunt, Mario World 3, Super Mario, and a lot of others. He has a joystick fo this flying game which is hard to control and he has the gun for duck hunt ^_^
For the Sega he only brought one game, Carnage. It's sweet too. I hope he brings more. I hate crutches though =/

It's sad that people find the original nintendo to be so amazing, when that's what I was playing as a child. =\
At a camp that I was a counselor at, none of the campers knew who Speedy Gonzalez was. =(

I don't like a lot of the games for the Nintindo he brought because they are all the same basically.
I like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade games and Duck Hunt and Mario World 3 and Super Mario. Carnage was fun to play too.

NES games pwn because it was all about the game. There were no graphics to obsess over. There weren't any gimicky hardware devices to plug. Either you had a solid game, or you didn't.

Oh, I wasn't downplaying the NES. My point was that there are people who are like "Whoa?! NES?! What is this?! Whoa! This game is cool!" when other people are like "Yeah, I've been playing since I was a kid."
Sort of like what a gamer's NES would be to a kid's Gamecube, if you get my meaning.

Speaking of games....I want to try Fable. I heard it's SWEET. Because every little thing you do can effect other things later on. It looks cool. Anybody try it?

I don't like it. =\
I can't deny the fact that I was expecting MUCH more from this RPG. There's just a lot of little things that kind of frustrate me. For example, the targetting system is really clumsy.
It's not bad though. I've been having fun with it. Another thing is that I wish you could have seen a little more character development a little sooner in terms of statistics, as the first five or so levels you put in don't really seem to make that much of an impact (other than the obvious health bar increase).
The game also isn't very interesting plot wise. Basically, something happens, and instead of building up to what happens next in some huge, magnificent, suspenseful event, the next event just happens, just like that. So, I'm here playing, thinking "Well, a little too much of a coincidence, but I guess I can accept that." But then the exact same thing happens again. =\
Personally, I would have rather saved my 50 dollars and spent it on something else, such as Dawn of War.

My point was that games today (not ALL of them, obviously) aren't about the actual game. They're about everything else. The graphics, the merchandising, the hardware, whatever. So then they play something that was only about having an awesome game and they can't believe it.

Are you kidding me!?!?!
Mega Man V wins, hands down.
Holy Shiet...
*can't describe it... whatever "it" is*
Although, Mega Man 1 goes get credit for having the worst box-art in the history of gaming.

Actually, Sega Master System had some of my favorite games. Phantasy Star, anyone?
There was also this little top-down airplane shooter that I really liked, but I don't remeber the name of it.
And who could forget the original Double-Dragon? On the last level, if do a spin kick 50 times, then jump down the first pit you come across, you'll be invincible when you reswapn. Oh man... how much do I rock?
