[Hellfighter 17]

Has anybody heard any of the songs on American Idiot by Green Day? I just borrowed it from my sis and it rox. Especially; Boulevard of Broken Dreams; Are we the Waiting; The Death of St. Jimmy; We're Coming Home Again. I really like the guitar solos throughout the cd too.

What are your opinions on American Idiot/Green Day, good or bad.

Yea, that's a damn good track, that is the one I chose to present in class. I would have done WCHA but it has a swear in it, damn teacher. So BOBD will have to do, as second choice.

I just realized that HF17 might actually know that people have opinions. He asked for opinions, good or bad. That is so sweet. Makes me yearn for the Eminem thread. Green Day is pretty good, but they're no John Williams and the London Symphonic Orchestra.

I'll assume that word was song... and I agree. Just think of ANY Linkin Park song. I refuse to buy the cd's for the sole reason that I can just turn on the radio and within 30 minutes I'll probably hear 2 of their songs.

And with that said, listen to better bands... like Billy Talent, lostprophets, Coheed, Ben Kweller, Yellowcard, Splender, Headrush, The Used... and the list goes on.

Frieza, Linkin Park is good. I'll agree with you on the part about Green Day, but Linkin Park is one of the best bands out there.

I on the other hand judge by the quality of music rather than how well known the band is. In my opinion:

Linkin Park as some good songs , Green Day ... meh... I liked 'Time of your Life' or whatever its called... wierdly enough I think 'Teen Spirit' by Nirvana is only a mediocre song unlike my rabid friends, Emininem's music nearly all sounds the same but it's good, untill you get tired of it ... Aquabats I beleive you guys like, I only heard three songs but they're pretty good. The Futureheads are cool, bonus points if you know who they are.

Wierd Al owns you. Black Sabbath's all right 'War Pigs' and 'Iron Man' get played by me alot.... I like some classical, Bach Beethoven blah blah blah , er.... hmm. What else? Slipknot can suck my balls. Polysics tickle my ears. Godsmak has a few goodies but they all sound pretty similar. I listen to alot of stuff on Overclocked Remix

That should tell you how much my opinion does not matter to you. I missed like twenty bands I like. Oh well, Good day sir.
