Technique List
#1
Alright guys, post your Techniques here. Hopefully we can mold something together into a definite list.

Format should be as follows:

Name of Technique:
Description:
Difficulty to acquire:
Requirements:

TECHNIQUE LIST
----------------------

NAME: Ranger Time
DESCRIPTION: This technique is used just like time freeze except for two major diffrences. One, you do not have to hold your breath for it to work. Two, it slows time down, yet everything still moves a regular speed. It is a good combination with Future Sight.
DIFFICULTY: This technique is not that hard to get. Granted, it will take a while to get if you are just roleplaying for it in a personal saga, but it will be given out like all others in Staff Run Sagas.
REQUIREMENTS: None

NAME: Future Shock
DESCRIPTION: This Technique works well along side Ranger Time. It allows you to achieve your next transformation state for a limited time. Three Posts Maximum.
DIFFICULTY: Like Ranger Time, this technique will be relatively easy to achieve; you just need to roleplay diligently for a Personal saga or actively in a Staff Run Saga.
REQUIREMENTS: None

NAME: Mind Grasp
DESCRIPTION: This technique is performed with extreme concentration and high intelligence. It is used by reaching the hand out towards the target. This technique has many capabilities: 1) You can use this to read your opponents thoughts for a limited time, 2) You can confuse your opponent once you have reached into their mind, done by twisting your arm around, 3) You can knock them unconscious if your intelligence is 50 higher than their intelligence is. There are also many more. This only works if your intelligence is higher than their intelligence is.
DIFFICULTY: Difficult to learn.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Intelligence of 400 or higher to learn.

NAME: Liquidation
DESCRIPTION: This technique is performed by the user concentrating his mind on an inanimate object and with enough concentration they can liquify the object. This can be very handy when fighting a enemy. An example of such use would be to liquify an object they are standing/leaning on, so that they fall down or lose their balance, giving you the chance to strike. The only downfall is that if you haven't practiced this enough or you just barely meet the requirements, you may liquify something you did not mean to. Again, thie technique can only be used on inanimate objects, meaning it can't be used upon an organism that is either alive, or was at one point.
DIFFICULTY: Difficult to learn.
REQUIREMENTS: Combined Determination and Intelligence must be 750 or higher.

NAME: Brain of Braun
DESCRIPTION: With this power-up the user has much more control over their functions and become incredibly smarter. They are better strategists with this and it is easier for them to anticipate moves.
DIFFICULTY: Difficult to learn.
REQUIREMENTS: None

NAME: Warp Speed
DESCRIPTION: This move enables humans to go at a speed that can rival that of light. While there are some Elementals that can already go at extreme speeds, this enables humans to be able to catch up to those ones faster than they would in any vehicle.
DIFFICULTY: Fairly easy to learn.
REQUIREMENTS: A combined Speed and Stamina of at least 500.

Edit: NVM, keep it up.

Liquidation and Mind Grasp seem...Elementionish.

Ranger Time and Future Sight are good for humans, because that next transform thing is like getting power from inside, because the human transform is a steroid, so its perfect.

All transforms are permament BTW, thats how I set it up...

Then I guess you can make that a requirement. I don't know who would get mind grasp, though...

It seems apparent that liquify would go to the water elementals.

Humans aren't very magical, the Ranger Time is like a sniper before he shoots, its like time stops before he strikes...

Now guys, rememebr to get requirements for a x10, x20, x30, and x40 permanent powerup, I need that to start typing.

Humans could have abilities that the Elemental have, through the tablets, or something like that.

The tablets ability is to restart time, there were other tablets with magic, but they couldn't unlock them.

Fade:
Allows the user to cause any object that they are touching to become invisible momentarily. The user of the fade technique focuses deeply on the object they wish to cloak, imagining it to be invisible in their mind. The weapon will become truly invisible as soon as they can visualize it being invisible. This move is very helpful for concealing weapons from enemies, allowing for stealthy attacks. However, should the cloaked weapon be used to attack someone, it will become visible once again as soon as the attack is launched, or the user stops trying to think that the weapon is invisible. In order to learn the fade technique, one most train their subconcious heavily, so that they can control it themselves. By doing this, they will be able to visualize something being invisible, and by using their subconcious in conjunction with skill or inner energy, they will be able to cloak something. Requires 250 intelligence to learn.

I thought this move would be especially good for humans and all, so they could conceal their weapons from sight. Elementions could use this too, such as cloaking something they don't want seen, but since they don't use too many weapons, it's more humanish.

Edited it a bit. Difficulty? You mean to obtain the technique or to use it?

EDIT: agah! I made a spelling error? I fail at life! Alright, I assumed the "skill" thing humans had was similar to ki.

#20, could you add to that description a bit. What's it's difficulty?

Could you also clean it up into clear sections for me? Thanks. Wink

I added the techniques. If there is anything else that needs to be added, let me know (such as race requirements).

EDIT: Btw, some of your spelling is atrocious. I fixed all that stuff up.

So uh...are you going to post the difficulty or not? Wink

Erm, I edited it... I did this thing where they have to learn how to master and control their subconcious entirely to use it. Is that the kind of difficulty you were looking for? Or does it need more?

Well, other people put stuff like "Difficult to obtain". Something along the lines of that would be good. Wink
