Final Boardroom 8
#1
Android 20
Gohan
Krillin - Team Admin
Metal Koola

Okay guys, this is it.

This is your chance to say anything you can to Reijin about why you should stay. However, make sure in your plea you include who should be fired and why.

You can, as you know, respond to anyone to defend yourself

Why should I not be fired?

-I feel that I did rather well. I did my best to keep the Team task unified, keep the project unified, and appease the many opinions floating around. In the end, perhaps I failed when it came to rushing my fellow teammates, but I have already said why I did so. I was afraid that I would be unable to finish the task, because of the awkward deadline.

Who should be fired?

-A very awkward question to answer, but I must go with Metal Koola on this one. Not because he was "late" getting the job done, as he actually got it done on time, and there was no reason for him to believe that we needed it earlier. My only reason is because he offered absolutely no criticism to anyone's posts. Gohan added very little criticism, but he at least added some. Perhaps extenuating circumstances kept MK from helping the other's out, but he didn't do anything at all except his Quests. He did his work, but so did everyone else, so we have to look deeper into the member's actions.

Wow, I just now realized how comfy these seats are. I must be so lucky getting to sit in these as often as I do. *spins around in the chair laughing*

In all honesty, I think everyone in here did a superb job. Everyone did great, so to me it's coming down to who did the best. I already rule out Krillen. He did an incredible job and I see no reason why he should be fired.

Gohan, you did great, and I apoligize for not seeing your comment earlier.

Metal Koola, you also had some very unique and creative quests, and I can't hold that against you.

I realize that I didn't manage to complete all I was assigned to do, partially because our team was so responsive and I wasn't crankin out ideas fast enough. I don't believe we lost because of me in any way, but I'm not going to try and say I was perfect on that assignment. I did the best I could to come up with good ideas and help the group as much as I could. I know that I did the best my little uncreative soul could do and that's all I can really argue. I've tried to do my best for the team.

But when it all boils down to it, and we have to say who we believe should be fired. This is incredibly difficult, because I thought everyone did a great job. But I'm still afraid I'm gonna have to go with Gohan. I honestly believe you did incredible man, and I have nothing against you. Metal Koola just had some very creative ideas and he did his job well. I really don't know what else to say because it was already incredibly difficult for me to decide who I chose.

Why shouldn't I be fired:

I did my work, and I believe that my quests were some of the more interesting submitted out of all. I may not have given out criticism, but that's because I didn't feel any needed to be given. Everyone did their work, and they did their work well. I still say we're only here due to personal opinion of the staff, and not necessarily poor work. I also thought I was bringing some extra creativity to the whole quest idea by adding the idea of status on the planet frost. I thought it would make perfect sense, and the idea was removed without even telling me. If you're going to argue that I didn't show any criticism, then you could also argue that I wasn't shown any either when it was just removed from the final copy without giving me any notice.

Who Should be fired:

This is a tough one. I think everyone in the board room did a decent job on their quests. Gohan probably did the least amount of work, and that would be my only reason for saying him.

Perhaps I should've told you, but I took it out to clean it up. I don't like the idea of adding something other than TP's and Zeni to the awards, unless it has some tangibility. How would we signify that someone has "respect on Planet Frost"? It didn't seem to fit the rest of it, and my not telling you was a complete oversight.

It was an idea that I thought would add to roleplaying. That was basically it. A lot of the admins say you get things because it allows you more creativity with your character and the situations you put them through. This was just another addition you could add to roleplays, plus it might have played out in future sagas. Why limit possibilities?

Perhaps, but I still felt that it was a bit odd to have it under rewards. A simple statement in the Description might've helped it more. For the sake of unity, I took it out. I didn't see how high social standing on Frost was really a reward.

I can't think of what else you might consider that besides a reward. Even so, whats done is done.

I just meant that on your actual quests there was less written work. Don't get me wrong, you did your work and you did contribute.

Well, here's how my mind is working right now.

Krillin, you did a good job, but just because your team is praising you I can't ignore the fact that you led the team to a loss. Sure, I'll give you credit on a good job leading, but that doesn't discount the fact you lost.

Android 20, you do show up here alot, don't you? I think perhaps you did the least from what I saw in this task, but you also have a history of working hard in this game.

Gohan, you've definetly improved from that task where you did pretty much nothing. I can't simply ignore this happened but I'm willing to think with a clear mind that you have definetly got more into the game.

Metal Koola, you do have the experience on your side. I don't really know why you got the shaft in this boardroom. I thought you did the work. I did like your rank idea, but if your TA didn't then it's a mute point. Would your rank idea have won you the challenge?

This game is only going to get harder. So I'm going to simply eliminate the person I feel really won't stand too much of a chance in the later rounds.

Gohan,
You're Fired

I tried to keep your previous poor performances out of it. I think that when it comes down to it, you did great this task. However, the flaw for you was that so did Metal Koola, 20, and Krillin. No one else has any past mistakes while I had to look at one task where you quite simply just did not do anything. I don't think you really have what it takes.

As for the rest of you, you are safe. The next task will be the final content tasks. If you survive Round 9, you are in the Final 10.

And if you make the Final 10, it's a whole new ballgame.
