You guys are going to go through a boardroom with four members at the head. They will interview you to find out competent you are in terms of the game and being staff. Keep in mind, they can say what they want, and how they want. Your fate lays here.

The members interviewing you are: Nappa, King Vejita, Yamu and Bojack.

You may begin by posting whatever you want to plead your case. The four members can at any time post their own questions and/or thoughts.

Staff has the authority to post whenever they want.

At the end of the boardroom, the four interviewers will rank you based on how they feel you would do as a staff member. Out of the three people at the bottom, one will be fired.

And after that firing, staff themselves will fire a second person, leaving us with only eight.

I think Hellfighter 17 is the only person I think deserves here to be here the least amount. I believe this because he has currently been away andall, that and I don't believe he knows enough about this site. Plus, he would be one annoying ass staff member.

I like having questions to answer since I have nothing else to say.

I can confidently say I HAVE spammed more than ten times in the past 3 weeks, can you? I think I havn't done that bad and that's a broad amount of time.

And due to computer things here, I can be on from 1-5 hours on weekdays and 2-8 hours on weekends (unless I'm at my dad's house, then it's 1-2 for both.)

But for you guys, there are reasons I should not be fired.

I have already worked hard for this website, not only by creating the FAQ, but I update it, I tell people about it (though only one joined), I help people if I can, and I am very mature for my age.

It's true. Plus, in the most recent task, you already know what the task was (creating changes to Chubbs, it says in the Asylum), I was pretty much the one who ran the task even though I wasn't staff. I was pretty much a second TA and I worked my ass off. I created a whole site, I had to copy the content and add changes and add coding to all of the content. The other added coding in for me as well, I am very dedicated to this game and this website. I won't fail.

In the last 6 weeks I have done maybe 20, mostly because of the King Kai quests. This is a very rough estimate. Maybe more or less.

Probably one of us, but I'm almost sure that I have't. I like to let it out on the Asylum, but sometimes I am serious, but usually only if I see that I should be. After my involuntary absence, I have decided that I would cut down on my Asylum posts, to try and have at least more serious than spam in there, and just basically cut down.

Combined, probably 20. That is mainly because I moved ito a new place on Feb. 28 ad they did not have internt, and it just got hooked up once again on Tuesday night, that is also why I have not been able to put more into the tasks as I feel that I normally do. Normally, though, I get on once I get home, usually 5, and on until I get off, about 10-11. On weekends, it depends, my life switches around, but, on each day, about 2-10 hours, depends if I go into the garage and if I have stuff to do.

It's like 19 or 20, but only if you include the finisher I did for Piccolo and Minoshia's fight. Also, this was cut dow due to lack of internet, or else it would be higher, since I am in a quest.

Well, I am not really sure. I have a zest for the RPG, still, but Burter still has some of that left. The staff are great, there probably are things that they are lackig that I can give, but I can't think of any, and thee is more that they do that I don't know about, the behind the scenes stuff.

I think I have alot to contribute, even if I don't seem like it at times. I am willing to put alot of work into this site, I just need the opportuity to do more. I feel that when I can help members along with things. I may have a couple of warnings, but I believe none for flaming, I'm pretty respectful to other members.

I hate to answer questions like this. I don't remember the dealings with HF17 that well, but he seemed to do a relatively decent job. The problem is, decent won't cut it at this point. Do I think he least deserves to move on? I can't tell. Giving a judgment of other people without bias is very tough.

Yes. I keep the spam to a minimum. It's not because I look down upon it, it's simply because I usually do not have the time, and I don't particularly enjoy doing it.

Anywhere between 15-20.

1) What do you offer that is absent from the current staff?

A different perspective. From what I can tell, my personality is quite different from any of the staff members. I feel that I would give a new look on an idea, and add a bit of depth to the staff.

2) What do you think this RPG needs that it's lacking?

Nothing really comes to mind. That's what made the previous task rather difficult for me, and presumably for my teammates as well.

3) Why on earth do any of you think you deserve the right to be staff on this RPG?

The right to be staff? That's a tricky question to answer. I believe that, while I might not have as much experience as others, I have patience and the willingness to devote time to a task at hand.

4) What experience do you actually have? Or are you just n00b?

You can pretty much chalk me up as a n00b. While I've been roleplaying for awhile, Chubbs was my first high-class site. Before that, I had never experienced roleplaying in such standards. Since then, I have joined at least three other's, and have begun my own. I have four months experience. That's it. Four months.

When it comes to forums, I've worked my way up the ranks of at least half of every forum I've attended. I've been made administrator on two other roleplaying sites, but they are not as high-class as Chubbs, and really do not count.

Effort? I feel that for the tasks I was able to be around for full time, I did a very good job, like oe slip that I know, some I went up and beyond of what I was asked. I am ot staff, yes, but that is why i am here, to become staff. I am not an "apprentice n00b," I am an Appretice.

I think everybody's schedule gets screwed up. Moving was like the third time it has ever happened, I don't expect it to happen for a while. This was only a short period of time and staff have taken time from the RPG as well, but, I admit, they do deserve it more. I did not know when I would be gettig my iternet back, but I did, and I will be on as much as I used to. I think I am worthy, I have made it thus far, so I must be doing someting right.

Actually, I believe I did name my average online time. I doubt I would weigh down staff. I trust my own judgement in matters, which would be useful in matters, I ca help people, I would not mind 404,040 IMs, actually, I probably would, but I think I could handle it.

Actually I am asking for responsibility, I knew that when I signed up for this, I am ready. I may not have experience, but it does have to start somewhere, does it not?

I do not see how being a moderator here would make me cool, I am just doing this for the sake of...will the only real reason tehre would be is to make me grow as a person, otherwise there would be no reason to do this, since someone else could make it run smoother, since that I what I will be doing.

So Slug, what you are basically trying to convince them is that you don't have the time or computer ability to update Evo, and you wish to try to help us out with CDBZ?

You have to realize that there was a time back in the beginning that I only had access from school during my lunchbreak. On those computers, everything on the site was blocked, and I could only directly access the boards. And yet I maintained helping out. I was unable to directly look at info or update training or upload files, but I could always make my finished product and post it on the staff board for them and deal with those things. I could get my updates done, I just needed some form of medium to transfer them for me.

Seriously though, I am starting to feel like I'm on Boiling Point. Would you guys just hurry up and tell us what your fucking planet or shop item or technique or whatever idea you are trying to get in is so we can just do it? And if you are suggesting custom characters, consider your IP being contacted to be disconnected, and then consider yourself lucky that we don't deliver baby pictures of you to Michael Jackson.

The staff have their good sides, but one thing we really really desire lately is a great PHP and database experienced coder, someone that can make all my dreams come to real truth. I have so many desires in the coding world, and I spend my time dealing with the responsibilities of being one of two Head Admins of the Staff, which leaves me answering a great many question from other staff members. Shit, I'm on "vacation" right now, and requested not to be messaged for anything work related, and yet I've been getting a still constant "job list" per day, mostly regarding this Apprentice shit. I could just say "Fuck you, no". I'm on vacation. I would love to say that, but my heart goes to this place a hell of a lot more than it should, and I find myself still dropping (the trash) what I'm doing to update here, and then noone ever fucking finds out about it, b/c I'm doing those things that are required and background deals. So if you want to join for recognition, forget that shit. We have creative input as well. We have work whores. We have heart. We need coding.

Can any of you guys offer that? Are any of you willing to learn? I'm willing to learn, but I'm now 20 years old, and about to be 21. I live on my own now and support myself and my gf, and work full time and I'm trying to find the time to go back to school. I'm no longer the 15 year old kid that I was when I first joined this site. I no longer have that kind of time.

I'm still working on like four projects for this site that you guys won't be seeing for a while. You think I want someone to make staff just so that they can find out what ideas we have and then some other rpg can get our stuff? We have enough of people either outright taking our shit, or posting up ideas very similar to ours and leaving us looking like copycats. We have things that we need, and we want to know if you have those to offer.

Do any of you feel like you actually would add anything by being on staff? And just to have some honesty, what do your competitors offer for us? It's easy to sit here and rave about yourself but the true test of character is what others think yours is.

If you just want to update shop posts and dick around then just say so. But if you want to add something constructive you'll have to prove it.

So far I can't see anything that anyone here would positively add to the staff. I would probably staff a few of you just to cut down on my own grunt work.

Seriously, we don't need a coder. And if we did, it wouldn't be for HTML. It would be for php, and I think VJ and myself have that covered. We don't need anyone to update rosters, have you seen how many staffers we have? I think we could use someone to clean the shit up in the Staff bathroom, that's about all you guys are good for.

You have to have something useful to be of value to us. I don't know about anyone else but I fail to see a reason for anyone here to be on staff.

Do you think you can add enough value to make yourself useful and respected? I can tell you now that you will be treated like what you offer, and if that offer is nothing. Then, well, expect to be treated like nothing.

Maybe, like ... 4 times. I tryed to spar with 14 but he never posted his side. I got bored with my personal saga. Lame-ass excuses but thats that I usually dont post regularly unless others are counting on me posting, like in a saga.

The current staff isnt missing much with Burter doing such an excellent job on the public forums, and I frankly have no clue what happens in the forbidden zone (Staff Board). I will offer fresh meat not yet worn away by the vigors of hard labor. I will be as active as possible updating and answering questions and doing my staffly doings. Hopefully, staff decisions will benefit from my added imput and help improve the site.


What do you think this RPG needs that it's lacking?

It needs nothing as far as I can see. The place is thriving, there have been like twenty berjillion sagas in the latter half of my stay on this place. Activity has never been better. There are a few things that could use polishing maybe, but nothing it needs.

I deserve to be staff because I can contribute more to this site that way. I feel that I have potential that is going to waste by being your average joe member of this site.

This place is awsome; It turned my life around. The staff scuplted this RPG and maintained it, so one year ago I could come along and find a way to escape, and cope with the shit in my life. If I could give that back I would seize that opportunity and run with it, I would put my all into it. If do maybe some other misguided kid will stumble accross this site and make some friends and use it like I did to straighten thier life out. I deserve to because I can put my heart into my work on this place.


What experience do you actually have? Or are you just n00b?


Besides my year on this site? I have seen the rise and fall of many RPGs, DBZ and itherwise. I have tried my hand at my own when I was but a youngin' (13) to no success. I have had minor positions of power on some RPGs, but never anything major. I know how the whole RPG staff scene works for the most part so Im no complete noob.

What I posted was exactly how the members said it, exactly the same. "Don't revive threads older than 72 hours unless you have something useful to add" as written by Furiza. See any important threads in the asylum that would cause the end of the world if one person didn't post a "useful" reply. Hmm ... don't think so.

Did I ever say I was a vet? Nope. I just said I was here for a while now. So yeah, I'm a n00b, but who's to say a n00b can't do great things? Definitly not you.

So you think you can update access to the board spots? You realize who's job that falls to? Well, here's a hint... It's a top security function that is only available in the ADMIN CONTROL PANEL. If you caught the subtle hint, that means that only myself and Rad can do that. And we keep up with that whenever we can. We have to do macromanagement, while Burter and 18 usually handle micromanagement. I honestly do not read through every post on cdbz anymore. I don't look at every update, and only sometimes answer shit and do that. I handle a totally different field. But.

Looking through those things is equally important. If I didn't have Burter to nudge my ass and alert me to various things like "Remove Apprentice access from ____" then I would never know, as much as Rad and I deal with. I'm thankful that we have them to point out these things to us.

We can't let very many people have access to much of the Control Panel due to possible mistakes and problems. We try to test the limit between too few and too many accesses. We don't want someone to get pissed as a staff one day and start fucking with everyone's board access and removing our own access. Been there and done that (when we got "hacked" so to speak) but we trust our staff members and we need to know that they can handle working within restraints before they get larger abilities. Each job is important, and while it may irritate some that all they can do is basically mod the forum and bring things to our attention, that is a very important aspect to the job, just as much as fuel needed for a car, and we appreciate that.

Rei we never told them that they'd need to know PHP to be the winner, so I think you shouldn't base this on "we need a coder, can you code". I'm sure if they knew they'd have to learn code to be useful they wouldn't have bothered joining this. If you want a coder then fire all of them, because none of them can live up to your standards.

I like what Koola said, we don't need someone to update the roster, we don't need someone to code, we don't need someone to give ideas. We need someone to just be there and help here and there.

I like how you guys are fighting back and commenting back, I'm kinda weary about how none of the others have posted yet though.
