But you can't be totally undetected, only myself, Android 17 and I think Cell can do that. Unless you got a cloaking device, that is.

Android's don't have ki, they have artificial Ki and therefore can't be read without a scouter. However, Cell doesn't count. Also, you can lower your ki, but it can never become undetectable, however if you are in a large group of people or in a highly populated planet you can lower you ki to match theres and sort of 'blend' in with the background so as not to be detected.

Yes you're an android, so no one can sense your ki. And no, androids don't choose whether to display their ki, as they run on a different source of energy it cannot be sensed in the same way normal ki can.

I dont need to sense your ki to find you when your 7 foot robot with brite green cloths and a brite orange tuff of hair on an otherwise bald head. In other words you stand out.

Hmm, yeah, Gero made only 17, 18 and 19 undetectable. All the other androids have ki absorbtion and stuff so they can be detected.

16 is also undetectable. He is a completely self-sufficient android and also never forms any detectable ki.

I don't know if that's actually true. I'd say 16, as well as 20, was undetectable. If you watch the episodes on tv, the Z-Fighters couldn't detect 19 and 20, and then Piccolo couldn't detect 16, 17, and 18 when they suddenly showed up at Roshi's island.

Not to mention that Goku couldn't sense 13 in the Super Android 13 movie...

So I would say that 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 were all undetectable, though it will probably go for all androids.

None of the androids can be detected by means of ki sesne. By "android", I mean anyone referred to by a number, preceeded by the word "android". This excludes any other artificial life forms.

That person lied to you. Because in the begining they couldn't find 19 or 20, and only found after they sensed Yamucha's ki suddenly drop as the life was sucked out of him.
