Quote:1. Burter
2. Furiza
3. Kami
4. Piccolo
5. Piccolo Daimoun
6. Android 17
7. Yajirobe - Leader
8. Goku

Yajirobe has the map, and the objective, which is to find the clue inside the deserted hospital. Head towards it, and enter it. Don't try to rush things, move at your own pace.

Remember, you can do things as you wish. You don't have to stick with the same leader, or even the same group.

As things happen, I will roleplay with the heading 'EVENT' to progress things. Events can be good...or horrible.

You have until Thursday Afternoon USA Central Time. The maximum times you can rp this round is 3.

The group of eight walked out of the cabin. Kami was out in front next to Goku. Both men were wearing their obvious distain for Brim and his little show upon their faces, but did their best to hide it from the others. Yajirobe walked along with the map which had instructions wirtten on the reverse side. He was in the middle of the clump, with everyone else stragling along behind.

"I don't like this game, and I especially don't like Brim." Kami muttered in a soft low voice. His ROSAT training partner beside him glanced over and nodded.

"I don't either. I also don't know why the short guy is in charge." He made a gesture backwards, his hair bobbing up and down as he did.

"You ever think about getting a haircut?" Kami smirked. Goku let out a little chuckle.

"Well I'll be...you made a joke."

They continued on, small conversations carrying on between people fluttering about. Burter made his way up next to Goku and Kami. The two gave him a nod to acknowledge his presence. The blue reptile then bean to speak.

"We should put one of us in charge. We've dealt with the Friend or Foe contest before...plus I think we need some veteran leadership here."

Kami closed his eyes and let out a deep breath. "I know. I was thinking the same thing." Just the he stopped walking. The rest of the group stopped as well, both Piccolo's noticing something was going on. Yajirobe was concentrating so hard on the map that he bumped right into Kami's back.

He stumbled back but stayed on his feet. "Oh! I'm sorry! I was looking at the map and.." Kami turned around and raised his hand to calm the obviously slightly nervous Yajirobe.

"Look," he began, "I'm not saying you couldn't be a fine leader, but right now, given the circumstances, you need to give me the map and be in charge. I have dealt with Brim before, I've played his game. These two next to me also know all the well the deception, lies, trickery and deceit. Give me the map." Yajirobe wiped away a bead of sweat. He looked to Burter, then to Goku who were on either side of Kami. Both gave a slight nod. He looked over to Piccolo and Piccolo Diamoun. Then he looked back down at the map.

"Our best bet is for you to give me the map. Or Burter here, or Goku. One of us needs to be in charge if we're going to get through this with a higher number of survivors. I may not know all of you, but if we're in this together, I'm going to do what I can to get you out alive."

Kami looked to his friends on either side of him. "Maybe we can even shut Brim down for good. I owe him a couple of things..."

Kami looked to his friends on either side of him. "Maybe we can even shut Brim down for good. I owe him a couple of things..."

Piccolo Daimaou was incredibly irked and perturbed about this whole turn of events. One moment, he was training with his newest student, Yajirobe. The next, he was battling for his life against a strange creature he had now learned to be Akira Dezmon, the woman who had easily fared against Android Seventeen, Yajirobe, Piccolo, and himself with a strange ice staff. Now, he had woken up, dazed, outside a strange tent, and was being threatened by a strange green man, who he was told was named Brim, and now he was about to be controlled by another Namekian who seemed to know what he was doing.

"Look, I'm sure you've dealt with Brim before, but..." Daimaou started to say to Kami.

Piccolo grabbed the emerald educator by the shoulder, and nodded at him to stop. Then, he spoke to Yajirobe, "Look, just give him the map. All we need now is a fight, when we should be targeting Brim."

The other Piccolo and Yajirobe just sighed together and Yajirobe slowly handed Kami the map. Kami took it, and thanked Yajirobe and Piccolo. "You've made the right choice; I will do my best to make sure we all get through this." Piccolo Daimaou couldn't stay silent.

"If you don't mind, I would like to know something."

Kami looked at him, he seemed nice. "Ask away."

"What's this all about," Daimaou began saying slowly and carefully, "Why were we all captured and brought here?"

"Because that green man we saw before, Brim, is a horrible and sadistic person. He's doing this simply to make a show. A show that he thinks will hit big, by pitting strong warriors against each other. Apparently, it's in high demand now. Is that it?"

"For now." Piccolo Daimaou tried to say politely to his fellow Namekian. "Thank you."

"Not a problem." Kami said, the group instantly went back to their original groups.

Piccolo Daimaou dropped back, and stood beside Piccolo and Yajirobe. He was slightly angered by what Piccolo had done earlier, but it was rivaled by the fact that Piccolo had helped him so many times before.

"Piccolo, I have something to ask you to." Daimaou asked, staring at the almost clone looking Namekian. "Were you at the facility I was at, with Hexx."

Piccolo just paused, thinking. "Yeah, I was there."

"But why were you there? Why did it matter to you what happened in that facility? And who were you with, I saw someone else leaving with you." Daimaou returned.

Piccolo almost instantly returned, the words bursting out of his mouth, even though he didn't sound angry, "For one, I don't know why I was there, and that cancels out your second question."

"Okay, that's fine...but who was the other warrior you were with?"

"His name is King Cold." Piccolo replied. Funny, how such simple words could have dazzling effect on some people, and yet next to none on others.

"Okay...did he mention where he would be, anything about himself?" Piccolo Daimaou asked, wanting to extract as much information as possible from his Namekian partner.

His Namekian friend seemed to be filling with a bit more rage after every question. "No, except for one thing." He said, the Jade Namekian hanging off his every word. "He said that he had met someone named Gokua. Gokua being the one you?re always hanging around, I assume?"

These were the words that had the dazzling effect. "Yes, that's him. But..."

"Enough questions!" Piccolo yelled, the rage finally bursting out, almost like a volcano. "We've been captured, everyone else is fairly quiet, and all you can do is ask questions? Just shut the hell up!"

Piccolo Daimaou was humbled by this. "Sorry to take your time,? he replied very quietly. They were now silent, just walking quickly in a group. They stumbled forward for many minutes, and Daimaou started to realize he was clawing at his collar like a rodent. He was at this for a few seconds, before Piccolo realized what he was doing.

"Daimaou? What are you doing?" Piccolo yelled, ripping his arm away like a parent would stop a small child from scratching a cut. "I have a feeling that Brim, being a sadistic genius, would not want you to have his best leverage against you leave him. If the collar feels too much resistance, it may decide to go off."

"Thanks Piccolo, but you want to know something funny?" Daimaou said, chuckling very slightly. "I thought you didn't care at all about anything, and now your helping me." He was now laughing, and then Piccolo came out of nowhere. Daimaou was just a little slower then Piccolo's punch. He was clipped off the side of the head. He started to spin, but was caught by Yajirobe. Thanking him, he returned to being quiet. They again continued to walk in silence.

Walking for even more time, Piccolo Daimaou decided to check out the landscape. He had been in many different landscapes, going in a journey to recollect himself after the war with Kooriza. He saw rainforests, deserts, and marshes. But nothing was quite like this. The trees were all strange, and of a breed Piccolo Daimaou had not ever seen before. They seemed to be a mix of many trees, which Daimaou felt, was offending nature. Observing the wild life, they looked a lot like different creatures he had seen before, but some seemed like crossbreeds. There was a wolf in the distance, and he was confronted by an animal unknown to the green skinned alien. Thinking the wolf was down and out, he was horribly wrong. Just like a Cobra, a type of snake Piccolo had seen, flaps of skin came out from its head. With lightning fast speed that rivaled Daimaou's, he pounced on the unknown creature, and sank its hidden jaws deep into the unknown creatures hunched back. Withering violently, the strange creature fell, blood slowly coming from the wound. The wolf part seemed to take back over, and he started to eat the creature. Whoever did this, he was either a genius, or a sadistic, horrible creature, or Brim.

Quickly turning, Piccolo Daimaou looked away. They walked on, and the place started to come into view. Looking over his teammates, he could see different looks or expressions on each of them.

Yajirobe seemed worried, he was shaking very slightly. Daimaou could tell he was scared, and he started to admire him. It would take great courage to be scared and still do something. Examining his physical features, he looked strange. Pieces of clothing were torn, and the emerald educator thought to see a cut of bruise, but he was without one. He must have been healed in the strange containment chamber.

Piccolo also looked strange, not scared, but strange. He looked to be in deep thought, and seemed to be arguing with himself about something. Daimaou didn't even think to ask what, he didn't want to be punched unexpectantly twice today. He seemed hardened, as he had probably been in worse or similar dangerous situations, and he would be ready for another.

Android seventeen was something of a mystery to the Jade Namekian. Looking at him, he was sure he would be a robot of some kind, having Android in his name. The strangest thing was, he looked so human. It was a very strange idea, which someone could make or build a creation that acted human and functioned completely human. Piccolo Daimaou started to get another idea. What if he was a cyborg, a human mixed with machine? Piccolo stopped thinking of this, and moved on. The hybrid seemed to be a very quiet person, and acted strange at times. He was sure he would be killed by him, but for some reason, he just stopped and helped Piccolo. It mystified him, but he didn't ask him, being glad to be alive.

Piccolo broke the long silence. Turning to Daimaou, he said fairly quickly, "Look, I'm sorry for what I have done and said, I have just been fairly stressed by what?s been going on. So, sorry."

The emerald educator turned to him, "No problem, I can see how we'd all be stressed. Hey, one second."

They were about to hit the hospital, and Daimaou had a thought. Tapping Kami on the back, he broke whatever conversation he was having. Kami just looked at him expectantly, waiting for whatever was needed to be said. "Hey, Kami, would it be a smart idea if we got into groups, if both groups could take a look at the map?"

He considered it for a moment, then replied nicely, "Sure thing, let's divide up when we get into the abandoned hospital. Daimaou just smiled, and walked back into his group. They stopped at the front of the hospital, waiting expectantly for instruction from their new leader.

(Ooc: Hope I didn't mess with anyones Idea's, but I wanted to post for this.)

EVENT

Kami was the first to step foot in the hospital. It was painfully dull, a building broken down by time. It was a huge building, though the walls were cracked and maggot infested, while the only sound was the constant buzzing of flies over rotting food. "Ugh," Burter commented, "It smells like the dead."

"It's a hospital," Furiza cracked. "It is the dead."

Kami moved to the side, examining the antiques. He put his hand on a statue's head, as if testing it's structure. On contact, the head busted open, unleashing an onslaught of maggots onto the ground. Kami flung himself backwards at the sight. "I really don't like this place."

Piccolo Daimoun looked over at him from his spot near the stairs. "Kami, I still think we should split up." He told the elder namek, quite seriously.

Kami shared a glance with his friends. Burter nodded first, then Goku. "Okay," Kami told them, "Burter, you head up with the Piccolos and Yajirobe. I'll take Furiza, Goku, and Seventeen down here."

-----

Piccolo Daimoun led the group up the stairs, very carefully moving down the corridor. The smell of death was even stronger up here, and the nerves of all four warriors were high because of it. It was dark with no lights working, so anything could have snuck up on them.

Any anything would.

"Someone needs to do some serious redecorating," Yajirobe joked, looking inside the rooms. Corpses lay as if they had been there for years, unmoved by time. The skin had long rotted away, leaving only useless organs and worn out bones.

The reptile peeked inside a room, seeing a green corpse laying, looking at him motionless. Burter grunted, moving on.

"I don't see anything up here," he admitted. "Anyone?"

"Nothing," Piccolo confirmed. "Just death."

Burter headed back, his hands tracing over the insect infested wall. The reptile peeked his head into the same room on habit...

"Oh, shit!" He backed up, shocked. "There was a body there!" Frustrated, he kicked the door open the whole way, much to the shock of his companions. Sure enough, the corpse that had previously been looking at him was gone. "There was a fucking body there!"

Something moved behind Piccolo Daimoun. He turned, letting out a horrid scream that showed both his fright and his courage.

"Zombies!"

-----

Goku was the first person who heard Daimoun's cry for help. Kami had been looking through some old office, ignoring the dead body laying in the chair, as if he had been killed right then and there. He tried his best to brush off the thought.

As Goku ran upstairs, Seventeen called for Furiza, who was neaby. "Come here," he whispered, pointing towards what he saw. The changling moved closer, his gaze following his finger. Through all the dead darkness, was a figure shining bright like an angel. A small little girl.

"I knew I shouldn't have drank the water," Furiza blinked in surprise.

"Ah, shit!" Both of them heard Kami's surprised shout. They both turned towards the room he was in. Furiza ran to help him immediately, but the Android turned once more to see the mysterious girl. She was gone. He felt some weight inside his mechanical heart, and then ran to help Kami.

The corpse that had been laying in the staff member's chair was now wide awake, as if something turned his organs back to life. Kami had been victim to a surprise tackle, and in response threw the corpse against the wall.

Around this time, Goku was kicked through a door by yet another of the living dead.

Piccolo turned around, glancing towards what the other Namekian had yelped at. A dead body, covered in blood and other bodily fluids, had picked itself up off the floor and lunged towards the green warrior. Grabbing a hold of its arm, Piccolo Diamoun hip tossed the zombie into a wall, cracking the dry wall out into a spider webbed crack. Watching the body fall to the floor, the jade warriors watched in horror as the zombie lifted itself off the floor once again.

Grabbing a hold of it?s neck, the blue reptile spun the zombie?s neck around twice, snapping it?s neck. The zombie instantly fell to the floor, twitching and convulsing. Piccolo looked at the great blue warrior and noticed a smirk on his face, obviously, Burter had enjoyed it. Turning around, Piccolo almost fell victom to a surprise attack from a second zombie.

Ducking under the dead bodies arms, Piccolo rolled across the floor and began to shape change. His body began to form Metal around his head and his arms. Slowly the metal overtook the Namekian?s body, shielding him in a metallic costume. Pulling a shotgun from behind his back, Piccolo blasted the zombie three times in the chest sending it up against a wall.

Lifting himself to his feet, the Namekian walked up to the zombie, poking him with the barrel of his riffle. He looked dead enough, but one question was racing through his mind, could you kill the dead?

Suddenly, someone grabbed a hold of the Namekian?s shielded shoulder, turning around with blazing speed, Piccolo had the barrel of the shotgun placed firmly on Yajirobe?s whitened head. Dropping to his knees, the human nearly passed out from the fear.

Lowering the barrel, Piccolo helped the Samurai to his feet, apologizing for the fright. Turning back towards the fallen zombie, Piccolo had almost expected the zombie to have stood up or walked off, but it was still laying there, looking as dead as ever, three shotgun sized holes in it?s chest.

Looking past Piccolo, Yajirobe saw that the zombie had fallen viciously against the wall.

?Nice transformation.? Spoke the Samurai. ?Where?d you learn that one??

Piccolo smiled.

?It?s a mixture of Colossus and Blade.? Laughed the Namekian. ?Had some free time during the RoSaT.?

Yajirobe smiled, but it quickly faded as he quickly unsheathed his sword. Piccolo, startled by this went to raise his shotgun, but was forced out of the way as the human ally drove past him, swinging his sword, decapitating the zombie. Apparently, the zombie had not ?died? again, for he had stood up, though, Yajirobe had quickly put a stop to that.

Sheathing his sword, Yajirobe looked at Piccolo, who in turn, nodded appreciation at the human Samurai.

?Maybe we should re-group.? Spoke Piccolo, a little shaken up.

The human just nodded and followed his Namekian partner back towards the group, keeping alert at all time.

As the two warriors re-grouped, Piccolo was suddenly attacked by two zombies! They had come from the room that the Burter had broken into, obviously he had missed something. The zombies drove the Namekian through a brick wall and into a second room. Both were snapping wildly at the Namekian as he struggled to fend the fiends off. Blood seeped from one of their mouths and landed on Piccolo?s cape. Looking at the stain then back to the zombie, Piccolo shift all his wait from his left hand to his right, letting one zombie fall on his face and launching the other into the air, crashing through the ceiling and onto another level.

Spinning around in a break dance fashion, Piccolo landed on his feet and unleashed a massive kick on the fallen zombie, sending him crashing into three tables, overturning them with ease. Waiting, Piccolo watched as the zombie lifted itself off the ground once again, this time, the Namekian was ready. As the zombie lunged towards Piccolo, the Namekian took a firm grasp of the dead carcase?s head. Discharging a massive amount of ki into it, Piccolo watched the head glow a dull yellow and then explode. The walking torso fell to it?s knees and finally onto it?s stomach.

?So.? Spoke the Namekian. ?This is how to kill them. I?ll have to let...?

Piccolo was attacked from above this time. The zombie he had launched up to the next level had fallen back through, falling directly onto the Namekian?s head. Both bodies hit the ground with tremendous force sending both through the floor and down to the next level, separating Piccolo from his group. Shrugging the zombie off his back, the carcass was sent flying through another wall. Piccolo quickly stood to his feet an realized that he was in the middle of a mortuary.

?Oh, this isn?t good!? Cried the Namekian.

Looking up, Piccolo took a small hop into the air and began to fly towards the hole, but a zombie took hold of the Namekian?s leg! Seconds before clearing the hole, the Namekian swung his leg, sending the zombie flying through the floor, creating a second hole. As Piccolo burst forward faster to catch up to the zombie, the jade warrior send the zombie back down a floor, crating a third hole.

Landing next to the hole he had first been pushed through, Piccolo finally made his way back to his group, a little bruised and covered in zombie blood.

The android had no clue what the girl represented, but he knew his mental state had not declined so far that he was seeing things. Leaving the young girl was something the machine-hybrid would not have done under similar circumstances, but at the moment the others needed his help. Seventeen hit the bottom of the stairs and took them two at a time?interested in what all the commotion was. The scene was something straight from a cheesy horror movie. The corpses that littered the entrance to the hospital were now shifting around on the ground. Android Seventeen was mystified by what he saw. Their decomposing form defied all natural laws, but still the zombies managed to move and moan. The android was examining them, eying each and every one of the corpses like a scientist. None of them had much skin left on their bones. Some had their exposed organs dangling in the air.

Android Seventeen was pushed forward by one of the creatures. More of the reanimated corpses had found their way up the stairs. The monstrosity unleashed a moan, a mixture of hunger and sadness, before sinking its stained teeth into the android?s neck. Seventeen screamed out as the jagged, aged mandibles sunk into his skin. The flesh gave way and the machine-hybrid felt his blood start pouring from the wound. The monster let go, raising its head to prepare to take another chunk out of the machine-hybrid?s neck, but the android was not content with letting that happen. Pushing up from the ground violently, the corpse tumbled off Seventeen?s back and onto the dusty tile floor. Android Seventeen quickly hopped up to his feet and prepared for what was next. His tussle with the living cadaver had attracted the others in the lobby. They were now shuffling towards him, moaning in anticipation for their feast. The android, not content with becoming a meal for the living dead, spun around and unleashed a ki blast at his former attacker. The zombie grunted as it stumbled backwards. Although its rotting stomach had been blown completely away, its approach was only stalled for a few seconds.

?What the hell??the android muttered as he realized he was quickly being surrounded. Seventeen felt cold, lifeless hands grasp his shoulder and reacted faster then his attacker could blink an eye. With a single, powerful strike the android split the cadaver?s skull in half. Rotted brains, stringy hair, and coagulated blood were splattered everywhere by the force. The monstrosity staggered once more before crumbling in a pile of decayed skin and bones. Another attacker bit deep into the side of the android?s neck, causing Seventeen to scream in pain before unleashing a massive discharge of energy. The zombie fell away, disintegrating under the blast of ki. As Android Seventeen clasped his bleeding wounds, three more corpses attacked. Their cybernetic target would be no easy prey. The machine-hybrid screamed out as his barrier activated. With no brain, the encroaching cadavers fell against the shimmering sphere of ki, initiating its self-destruct and their demise. The green barrier shrunk into itself for a brief second before exploding outward, catching the closest reanimated bodies in its wake.

As the dust and debris cleared, Seventeen realized his outburst had left a few stragglers, but then the unexpected occurred. As the android was preparing to quickly finish off the nearest zombie when it lashed out. The corpse suddenly shot forward, pushing the android with amazing strength. Even with its emaciated arms, the cadaver hurled the machine-hybrid through a crumbling wall. Android Seventeen hit the tile, crushing the aged linoleum under his weight. Seventeen hit the ground and tried to catch his breath. However, his attacker lunged through the crumbling wall seconds later and diminished any chance of a break. The zombie hit the spot where the android had been seconds after Seventeen had flipped backwards to his feet.

The machine-hybrid stepped forward and brought his boot down?crushing the already decomposing skull underneath his foot. The android quickly moved his boot and started rubbing the tissue and fluids from it, but yet another zombie interrupted his little recess. Crashing through the wall to his left, the cadaver hit Seventeen?s leg and destroyed the cybernetic fighter?s equilibrium. Android Seventeen?s head smacked off a crumbling end table, destroying the small piece of furniture but not before possibly concussing the machine-hybrid. The dead body bit into the android?s pant leg, piercing both his jeans and calf muscle. Screaming out once more, Seventeen unleashed a massive blast of ki. The energy removed the walking corpse from existence, but the act had been more of a way to release the android?s growing frustration.

Standing up, the machine-hybrid brushed the dirt, dust and fluids from his clothing. The worst part was most of it was his own blood?still flowing from the two wounds in his neck. Android Seventeen slowly made his way out through the hole in the wall he had created and back into the lobby. There were still a few zombies, milling around in the darkness of the hospital, but Seventeen knew they were hiding their ferocious nature. Opting not to have to suffer further assaults alone, the android leaped up the stairs to go locate the rest of his party. Without Paige, all this insanity was a lot more difficult to deal with, but the android knew he had to do his best. Even under these odds Seventeen had to show that he could deal with what was going on without all the soothing words. As much as he tried to persuade himself otherwise, the android knew he missed his ladyfriend intensely.

When the machine-hybrid made it to the top of the stairs, he noticed that the rest of the group was still fending off the reanimated corpses. Even worse, Seventeen turned around to notice that at least a dozen of the cadavers had stalked him the entire way. The android instantly recognized Piccolo. Even under all the dirt and blood, the green warrior still knew it was his cybernetic training partner from the Room of Spirit and Time. Android Seventeen went to say something, but his stalkers pounced before he got a word out. As the machine-hybrid fell, he felt more broken, yellowed teeth pierce his neck and back, but this time the android was through with the walking corpses. Seventeen caught himself this time, and the enraged warrior leaped into the air. Throwing off his decrepit attackers as he flipped in midair, the android landed behind the group of zombies and split their skulls with three kicks. Seventeen spun back around almost on instinct as more of the monsters started pouring down the hallway.

?Going to be a long day?? the android said with a usual hint of sarcasm.

After sending the first zombie attacker through the wall, the echoes of similar disputes could be heard through out the hospital. In between punching his fist through a zombie skull Kami wondered how the old decrepid hospital was even still standing. He also didn't catch what it was exactly that they were looking for, so he tried to keep his eyes open to something that possibly looked out of place.

Another zombie came crawling in through a hole in the wall. Unfliching, Kami yanked both his arms off and home run hit the head with one of the now removed limbs. There was a splattering of bodily fliud, or what remained of it, and the zombie dropped. Another one came running at him. The old Namekian sighed and stepped aside. The zombie wasn't smart enough to control his own momentum and put his head through a wall. A quick karate chop to the back of the neck later and he ceased to move.

The battles raged on through the hospital ruins. Kami thought he saw someone go flying through a wall. We should've stayed together... He pushed the though aside and floated past a broken out section of flooring. Moans and wails came from the darkness below.

To one side Kami could see Furiza ripping zombies apart, he almost seemed to be enjoying himself. When he tore one in half with no sign of expression on his face Kami decided to check on the others. The android that was with the group was holding his own. It looked like he had been hurt but was doing fine. Goku had managed to get himself off the ground after being kicked through the door. The zombie would had done so was now halfway sticking ouf the wall near the door which he kicked Goku through.

Kami saw an energy blast come flying down the hall. He flicked it away with the back of his hand and sent it soaring into the head of a zombie who promtply rag dolled and dropped to the ground. He then shouted as he delivered a roundhouse kick to the midsection of a zombie "I know you're all very busy!" He ducked a wayward swing from a zombie and punched it's kneecap the wrong direction, "But has anyone seen anything unusual other than the zombies," One fell through the rotton ceiling and landed on his back. Maggots, dirt and debris came with him. Kami flipped the zombie over his shoulder, slamming it into the ground on it's back and then stomped it's head through the floor. "And that little girl!" He knew it was almost pointless to ask.

"Furiza! Goku! Seventeen! We need to regroup and get the others! Then we fend off the rest," Kami shot a beam from his finger and made a hole in the middle of the head of a zombie, causing it to take another step and then crumple up like an old newspaper. "The we find whatever we came here to get, and get the hell out!"

A dark hallway creeked and groaned. Kami tossed a small ball of ki to illuminate the path and saw a clump of zombies making their way in his direction. "Oh for cryin out loud. I REALLY hate this place now." He held up a hand and saturated the hall with a burst of energy. The zombies vanished in a flash of light and smoke. A hole burst out of the back of the hallway. Kami looked around to spot his team, and then looked upward, hoping the others were fairing alright.

"Ugh," Goku coughed, the overwhelming stench of rotting flesh sifting through his nostrils, "this reminds me of some horror movie I saw once. I don't remember how it ended, cause I had one too many to drink. Hmm... maybe it was a comedy." As Goku continued to ramble to himself more than anyone, he heard a faint voice speaking in a distressed tone. He couldn't hear the first part of the conversation, but the next part flowed down the staircase, clear as a bell;

"There was a fucking body there!"

Burter's concerned, almost feverish exclamation reached the saiyan's ears, and instantly he knew something was wrong. The teal lizard man was not prone to loud outbursts over nothing, unless the entire chilling graveyard atmosphere of the decrepid building was forcing him to see things. Almost directly after Burter's cry came a piercing, shocked yell from up the staircase. He didn't recognise the voice, but it had to be one of the party members that was with Burter.

Goku took off up the stairwell towards the source of the scream. He looked over the railing as he continued around the curved design of the stairs, but he saw no one else from his divided group. The saiyan was getting an unsettling feeling in his stomach with every passing moment. His gaze returned to the constantly moving stairs beneath his feet, and as his eyes moved to the top stair. Unfortunately, he focused upon a set of decaying, holed feet, the bones connecting the toes to the foot completely exposed. The disgusting sight halted the rapid progress of the saiyan, who was almost afraid to meet 'eyes' with the undead creature. There were no flesh eyes; there were only two dark, hollow holes where they should've been.

"Eek..." Goku squeeked, the image of this unnatural creature too much for his mind to process in such a short time. With an ungodly groan, the zombie lifted his leg and slammed it into the saiyan's chest with surprising force. Goku tumbled backwards down the stairwell, in more astonishment at the zombie's potent kick than the pain received from each rigid stair. The saiyan made a loud, unimpressed grunt as the back of his head crashed against the solid ground, but quickly made it to his feet. The walking corpse had sat upon the railing of the stairs and started sliding down after his saiyan target. He leapt from the railing and stomped down before Goku, a piece of flesh from his leg tearing off from the impact. The black haired saiyan held down his vomit and prepared to knock the fragile looking zombie from his brittle bone structure.

The gaunt zombie attacked first with unholy speed, directing a punch with his bony knuckles into Goku's face. Despite the fleshless fist's appearance, it delieverd considerably more power than it should have. Goku stumbled backwards towards the door, his awkward motion caught by another behind him. The saiyan turned his head to see another rotting skull, the only eye in the zombie's head rolling towards Goku's gaze. Goku struggled against the iron clad grip of the emaciated dead, who held him around the chest, constricting his arms, but found it too difficult in his present state. The other zombie strode towards Goku in an eerie way, walking in a similar way to the stereotypical walking dead from movies, yet his speed was completely the opposite.

Calm down Goku, the saiyan spoke to himself, his fears overwhelming his thoughts. They're just undead, they can't be that strong. Goku waited for the remaining zombie to advance on him, keeping his mental composure despite the corpse's obvious decomposure. Goku flexed his biceps, pushing forcibly against the zombie's hold upon him, and with one powerful thrust, released himself from the undead's grip upon him. The mentally stable saiyan reached back and grabbed his previous captor by the neck and hurled him over his shoulder, directly into the advancing zombie. As he did this, he noticed one of the members of his group and a previous tournament partner, Android 17, dash up the stairs bearing several badges of courage on his body being chased by a hoarde of reanimated bodies. Goku was about to leap to his defense, but his own problems were not over yet.

The pile of rotting flesh moved, and both undead creatures arose from their slump. Neither of them seemed to have sustained any serious damage, and continued to terrorise Goku.

"Let's see how you do without your heads!" Goku yelled, holding up an open palm. A spinning disk of energy quickly spun into existance above his hand, which the saiyan threw without hesitation. The destructo disk soared right though both zombie's necks, severing the connection to their bodies. Both of their skulls hit the dirt with a sickening thud, but their bodies stayed upright. To add insult to Goku's failure, the headless corpses stood directly upon their decapitated heads, crushing them with a single step.

"I don't like where this is going," Goku moaned, looking around his dilapidated surroundings for a tool. He took a step backwards, tripping in a small hole in the floorboards. The saiyan looked down, and noticed there was a considerably deep basement beneath the ground floor. He smirked at the oncoming corpses and formed an energy ball in his hand.

"Enjoy the fall!" his corny remark echoed as he tossed the ki blast at their feet, obliterating the wooden ground that they stood upon. The headless zombies inevitably fell through the hole, their bodies breaking on the basement floor. Goku sighed, looking around for more of his group, but was unable to see them. Suddenly, a disturbing murmur filled Goku's ears. He spun around, only to be met with another flesh-free skull boring a hole into his eyes with its unholy gaze. The saiyan's mixture of disgust and shock sent him stumbling backwards, and ironically, falling through the hole intended for his enemies.

"Ahh!" Goku yelled as his back made contact with the basement floor, and knocked the air from his lungs. He sat up in complete darkness, pierced only by the slight light from the hole in the floor, or in his position, the roof. The air was damp and heavy, almost weighing down his lungs with every uncomfortable breath. Goku finally found his footing and stared up into the hole he fell through, which was now surrounded by the ghoulish faces of the walking dead. The saiyan decided it was best to leave the way he came.

"Uhhhhhhhh....."

Moaning filled the basement air, at first from Goku's right. He spun around, but stranded in darkness, he wasn't sure where it came from, or whether he was hearing things.

"Uhhh..... uhhhhhhhh.... uh......."

Again, the groaning commenced, this time from several places at once. Goku closed his eyes and took a deep breath, reasonably assured of his situation. The saiyan clenched his fists and channeled his ki through his body. The resulting action was the catalyst for his aura's activation, flooding the darkness with navy blue light. Bathing in the saiyan's hue was an entire army of zombies, encircling Goku from every angle. The enclosment of the walking dead stretched back as far as Goku could see in the poor light. All of the zombies advanced on the saiyan at once, as if they all thought with one mind.

Goku took a fighting position and held his repulsiveness and horror in check and prepared for the walking dead that wished so desparately to feast upon his flesh.

EVENT

Twenty minutes passed...

Kami poked a dead eyeball out, then punched the living dead back to where it belonged: the grave. By now just about all the corpses had been exterminated. Though it was annoying, they hadn't posed much of a threat.

Upstairs, Yajirobe was finishing off the last three himself. The Piccolos and Burter had taken the time to examined what was left, mainly to find the clue. Android 17 had joined them to help finish the corpses.

Kami joined them at the bottom of the stairs. He, like all eight of them, was covered in the blood of people dead ages ago. It wasn't a pleasant thought. "Now," Kami told them, "Let's find this clue before anyone else decides to join the party."

As the groups began to part once more, this time staying at the lower level, a white light shone in the corner.

Nobody was able to see the ghostly young lady, but she most certainly could see them.

As the last of the walking dead were put to rest, Piccolo and Piccolo Diamoun began their search for the ?clue?. Looking through countless bodies, underneath dirty hospital beds, and through what looked to be some sort of Jell-o, the two Namekians were startled as their blue companion Burter walked up behind them.

?Come with me.? Hissed the reptilian warrior.

Both Piccolos turned and followed the blue being down what looked to be a hidden stair case. It wound around and around, going deeper and deeper into the depths of the abandoned Hospital. The hall around them was dank and dark, only the light from the rooms above left them with an sort of sight. A musty scent lingered in the air as the trio finally leveled out and walked into what seemed to be a long corridor.

As the three warriors, now separated from their group, made their way down the corridor, Piccolo peered closely at the wall, noticing markings covering each and every inch. The Namekian could not seem to make out the images, the darkness easily overtook his sight. Noticing the Namekian stopped, the blue lizard stopped instantly, sending Piccolo Diamoun crashing into his back. The lizard turned his gaze from the younger Namekian to the elder teacher.

?Watch it.? Hissed Burter, a cross look upon his face.

Piccolo Diamoun shook off the blow, not realizing that Burter was even speaking to him.

Turning his attention back to the younger Namekian, Burter made his way over to Piccolo. Placing a hand on his shoulder to announce his presence, he took squinted through the darkness, finding more than just images.

?Rekindle the flames of the weak.?

?Rekindle the flames of the weak?? Spoke Burter, slightly confused by the sentence. ?What flames.?

Just as the blue being spoke the word ?flames?, a huge burst of light filled the room. All three warriors squinted as the light caused their pupils to constrict. A large circular garden of statues where exposed in the middle of the corridor, and where the sentence, ?Rekindle the flames of the weak?, was replaced by a sealed door.

Both Piccolos and Burter walked around the statues looking at each and everyone of them, each on held a place to light a small fire.

?So.? Spoke Burter smartly. ?We must rekindle the flames of the weak. That?s easy enough. What statues do we have??

Piccolo Diamoun spoke proudly.

?We have a Horse, a deer, a wolf, a snake, a tiger, and an eagle.?

Burter smiled.

?That?s easy.? Spoke the lizard as he walked up to the eagle and lilt it?s flame. Next he walked up to the deer and ignited it?s flame. Finally, the blue being walked up to the horse and ignited it?s flame. ?See. All of these animals are weak, their fierceness nulls in comparison to those I have not lit.?

The flames suddenly went out. Waiting for something to happen, the trio soon found themselves confused.

?Wait!? Yelped Piccolo Diamoun. ?They each have something written on them.?

Piccolo glanced at the statues and sure enough, each animal had something written across it.

The Horse: No amount of cunning can match the speed of my supple limbs.

The Wolf: My sharp wits allow me to bring down even the greatest horned beast.

The Tiger: I am the king of all I survey: No creature can escape my grasp.

The Snake: I creep up on my victims in legless silence & conquer even the mightiest of kings with my poison.

The Deer: I stand tall on the Earth with horns proudly displayed.

The Eagle: I dance freely through the air, capturing legless prey.

All three of the warriors stood there thinking, not one of them seemed to know the answer. Each of them found stones laying on the ground and spent many minutes writing up different solutions to the puzzle.

After what seemed to be hours, but was really only a matter of fifteen to twenty minutes, Piccolo stood up, a proud look across his face.

?I have the answer.? The Namekian spoke, breaking the long silence.

Walking up to the Deer first, the Namekian lit it?s flame. Continuing on, Piccolo lit the wolf, then the horse. Glancing around, Piccolo thought for another moment then continued onto the tiger. After igniting it?s flame, the jade warrior walked up to the snake, then to the Eagle. Each flame was now ablaze. Piccolo took a few steps back, waiting for something to happen.

Suddenly, a low rumble from behind them and the sealed door burst open, exposing another passage way! Both Piccolos and Burter looked at each other and then down the dark corridor. A new path had been opened.

?Should we regroup, or continue alone?? Asked Piccolo, speaking directly to Burter.

The blue lizard though the question over and came to a decision, one he thought would benefit them all.

Android Seventeen wandered away from his group for only a few seconds, and he soon realized he was lost inside the dark, dingy halls of the dilapidated hospital. The android came to the end of an ill light corridor. The passage terminated with a single door that was as plain as any other door the machine-hybrid had seen, but he had a bad feeling about what was waiting inside the room. However, Seventeen was no cowards, and certainly no aged door was going to scare him. The cybernetic warrior twisted the rusted knob in his hand and pushed the wooden door open. The door creaked violently on its hinges and revealed a completely dark room.

?There?s nothing to fear??the android scolded himself for being intimidated by the darkness. Stepping inside the room, the door slammed shut behind Seventeen. The android yelped out and spun around, his hands shooting forward to find the doorknob, but he felt nothing but brick.

The door was made of wood! The android?s panicked voice did nothing to improve the situation. Android Seventeen collected his thoughts and turned around to face the blackness of the chamber. Walking forward, the machine-hybrid started feeling around for something, anything in the room, but he found nothing but black space. By the time he had stumbled to about the center of the chamber, Seventeen realized he had his own natural source of illumination. The android raised a palm and focused a small sphere of energy?the immediate area around Seventeen was basked in green light.

The introduction of light must have stirred something from its slumber because seconds after lighting the room, something rustled above the android. Unleashing an unearthly wail, whatever the thing was dropped from its roost and started moving about. The machine-hybrid began looking around as the sounds of claws clicking on the tile floor grew closer and closer to him. Then it lunged, whatever the creature was smacked directly into the android, nearly succeeding in knocking Seventeen to the ground. Android Seventeen jumped into the air, hovering near the ceiling he attempted to contemplate what had just tried to attack him. The monster?s flesh had been so smooth and muscular, as if there was no layer of skin at all.

By now, the cybernetic warrior?s eyes had adjusted well enough that he could make out the monster?s outline. The creature was rapidly making its way around the room?no doubt positioning itself to attack once more. Claws clicked as the monster arched its back and let out a long hiss. Android Seventeen took aim and fired, the ki projectile illuminated its target long enough for the android to see the creature?s glinting, skinless body. The ki tore through the monster and exited the room through the far wall. The mutant screamed out in unholy agony as it thrashed around in a pool of its own blood. Its cybernetic slayer made his way over to watch the last breaths of life escape the beast?s lungs.

The room quickly returned to black and quiet, but Seventeen still felt uneasy. The constant feeling that someone was watching him had followed him through the entire hallway and into the room. Now, the sensation was become heavier, and the android began to find it hard to take breaths. It felt like someone or something was chocking, but as he turned around to investigate the feeling dropped him to his knees. The machine-hybrid gagged as he clawed desperately tried to see what was suffocating him. Just as the android was starting to feel woozy the force released him. Android Seventeen covered his throat as if to prevent anything else from attempting to choke him. As the dying feeling subsided, the machine-hybrid quickly made it to his feet. He was greeted with the most disturbing cackled he had ever heard. Not even the corpses or Kooriza Juniors had filled the android with more horror.

?Who?s there?? Seventeen asked?his voice still raspy. The android stood up, finding that he was still lightheaded. The cackling had stooped, but the temperature in the black chamber had dropped substantially. Usually the cold would be just an annoyance to the android, but this time it chilled him to the bones. Android Seventeen stuttered as he tried to shout out another threat, but the chattering of his teeth muffled anything he attempted to say. The machine-hybrid raised a shivering hand, struggling to create some means of illumination. The ball of energy revealed things that the android wished he would have never seen. A black figure, solid amongst the retreating shadows of the chamber, floated inches above the ground. As corporeal as it seemed, the figure?s body seemed to blend into the atmosphere?its tattered clothes, hair, and free skin flapped effortlessly in the still air of the room.

The apparition smirked with a grin sinister enough to scare away the cowardly, but it wasn?t the figure?s smirk that frightened the android?it was the wraiths face. Android Seventeen was staring at himself. The phantom wore the machine-hybrid face?right down to the scars the android had received in his Room of Spirit and Time training. As Seventeen stared into his own eyes, completely oblivious to the hands raised above his head until the apparition struck. The blow drove the android straight to the ground and then through the floorboards. Android Seventeen hit concrete floor of the basment and lost consciousness seconds later.

"Okay, we can?t wait, let?s go in." Burter said to both Piccolos and Yajirobe. Yajirobe just stared at them with very little emotion. ?Then I?m waiting for the others,? Yajirobe said to them, looking around. They nodded at him, and started to slowly walk into the dark area, in a line, composed of Piccolo Daimaou, Piccolo, and Burter. Burter on the left, Piccolo taking the center, and Piccolo Daimaou taking the right flank. The emerald educator could say he was scared, and that in itself bothered him. He wasn't even scared when he was taken in by Hexx, not scared that he was fighting a strange creature in a darkened hallway, and yet, this one was incredibly creepy, filling him with a sense of fear and dread.

Walking slowly in the hallway blanketed by darkness, they saw an eerie light ahead of them. The sapphire colored lizard was the first to say something, assuming the leader command, "Okay, finally, light. Let's get there and regroup." Both Namekian warriors once again quickly shook their head, and walked on with the blue reptilian.

Finally getting up to the torch, they stopped. Staring at the torch, they finally saw the walls around them illuminate in a creepy, low light. The Jade Namekian didn't notice at first, but his heart was beating faster. This whole ordeal was very strange, and altogether unwanted by the slug like alien. Starring at the walls, they were inscribed upon, but they were in a language that was unknown to Piccolo. Strangely enough as well, crude pictures were etched upon the seemingly ancient wall. Feeling them with his hand, he was amazed by its cold, hard texture. It was truly an interesting sight to see.

"Okay, so can anyone make anything of the surrounding landscape?" Burter asked, glancing uneasily at the two aliens. They both shook their heads, having not talked much, if anything, since the zombie ordeal.

"All I see is these strange inscriptions, and the torch," Daimaou started to say, slowly thinking, ?and I strongly suggest we take the torch for our own needs."

"Smart idea," Piccolo replied to his Namekian friend, "Grab it Daimaou." The other Namekian reached out for the lit torch, and pulled it from its slot. Something clicked loudly within the strange construct the three warriors were in, and a door some one hundred meters started to drop incredibly rapidly.

Brim's voice could be heard over a loud speaker, "Hurry, hurry..."

Burter was the first to yell, and the first to get to the door being the fastest. He grabbed the door and yelled back to his partners, "Get...through...this...door! Burter managed to grunt out, under heavy strain from holding it. Sweat was running across his face. Piccolo was next, and he helped Burter hold it. Gears could be heard creaking hard against each other, grinding away within the mechanical gate.

Daimaou was the slowest, but he still pushed his limits. Flying through, he slid under the gate in a baseball like slide, and got up to help them hold it from the other side. Keeping his hands on it, Piccolo went under to help hold it up. As soon as he let go, the door creaked down an extra few inches. About two feet from the ground, it was Burters turn to go through. Throwing the door up so it ganged an inch, a loud screech was heard as both Piccolos? strained under holding the door up. It was only nine inches from the ground, not enough for Burter to go through.

"You've got to lift the door...I won't fit." Burter yelled, gasping in quick breathes of air as he rested. Both Namekian?s, once again, tilted their heads back and forth in acknowledgement, and grunted loudly. Something strange happened next to Piccolo Daimaou. The super Namekian pushed his current limits extraordinarily, and his power skyrocketed. It blew the Jade Namekian away, literally. Flying backwards, he slammed his head hard on the very old walls. Getting up and looking back towards the gate, the incredibly strong Namekian had no trouble lifting the door for Burter to get through.

Burter started to laugh a little at the show the Namekian?s had put on, "Thanks guys, that was hilarious." They joined him, turning around. Now they had a definite light source. But they weren't in a hall anymore; they were in a strange room. Looking around, their was one door made out of a rusted looking metal, and three holes in the horizontal center of the room, one in the very center of the room, and each an equal distance from each other horizontally, and from the wall. At the opposite end from the door, there were three stone blocks, each one adjacent to the holes in the room. It was somehow brilliantly lightened by the strange torch they had recovered from their previous struggle.

Piccolo Daimaou examined the room. He walked up to the rust covered door. Trying to push it open, he saw it was locked. Walking back, he charged energy, and fired a Masenko at it. In simply rebounded off the door, and barely missed the Jade Namekian?s head. Examining the door closely, he saw the door was painted. The rust was simply brushed on.

"Okay, everything is here for a purpose." Piccolo started to say to his partners. "So, let's examine these holes, and these strange blocks." Burter walked over to the blocks, while the Namekian?s checked out the holes. Nothing jumped out first, but by jumping down, they saw that each one had a weight switch on them. Both Piccolos got on their switches, but nothing happened. They quickly decided to yell to Burter. "Jump into that hole, and stand on the switch!" They both yelled in perfect unison. Laughing Burter walked over, and jumped into the hole, and the door opened. Piccolo Daimaou jumped out to go through, and it closed again, just as quickly as it had opened.

"And that's why we have these blocks." Daimaou roared from the door, voicing the obvious. Walking over, he grabbed the blocks. They weren't very heavy, maybe weighing at the most half of what the Namekian weighed. He yelled out to his friends who were still in their holes, "Wait there, I've got something!"

Getting behind the block, he pulled on it, and picked it up. Walking over slowly, and stumbling slightly, he dropped it in the hole. Looking at the door hopefully, he saw it wasn't going to open. Frowning slightly, he dropped another one on top, and the door once again stayed close. Groaning loudly, be stacked the last one on top, and the door opened. Daimaou decided to be adventurous. "Wait here, I'm going to see what this is about!"

Walking through the door, he wasn't in the least surprised. It was as dead quiet as the other halls and rooms, and just as dark. Making a ball of Ki, he looked around. The room was quite boring, but then he saw something on a dark alter, also inscribed with unintelligible writing. Grabbing the item and turning around, he heard something.

The door snapped closed, and he heard heavy breathing from behind him. Turning around, he leaped backwards yelling, as he saw what was lurking in the shadows.

A giant wolf was standing there! It was an incredible sight, at least five feet tall, and about double that long. Piccolo didn't wait, and he fired a rapid blast of mystical power to the strange creatures face. It didn't have any effect, all the creature did was snap back slightly. Growling, a flap of skin came out from the wolf! It was a deadly cobra wolf Daimaou had seen before!

A voice could be heard from behind him. "Have fun with my pet!" More jeers could be heard from behind him, but the emerald educator tuned them out from his head. He focused on the snake wolf that was fighting him. The jade Namekian jumped, and pounded the creature hard in the face. Sending more punches in quick succession, he could tell it was hurting the wolf warrior greatly, but the strange animal was done with this. Bringing his paws up, it gripped Daimaou in a crushing grasp, and flung him down to earth. It lunged with its great jaws at him, and Daimaou wasn't quick enough. Taking it on the leg, it was torn to shreds as the creature started to throw its head back and forth aggressively, releasing venom into the Namekian warriors system. Screaming in pain, he gripped onto one of the creatures teeth, and ripped it out.

Still dripping with venom, both him and the tooth, he knew he would have one shot at this. He brought his arm back, and stared as the creature left himself open. He went down to lunge, but Piccolo was faster this time. He brought the large tooth straight down on the top of its head, and the venom was released. Screaming as violently as its old pray, it started bucking erratically. Daimaou tried to stand, but his leg wouldn't hold it.

"Great, another limb," He said aloud to himself, concentrating. He was getting much quicker at this, having had a lot of practice regenerating broken or torn off body parts. The leg slowly regenerated, and the venom was filtered from his system. Breathing harder than Burter was at the gate, he grabbed the strange device. Thinking it was the clue, he heard something. "Good job, but that's not what your looking for!" A giant explosion went off, blasting Daimaou back in through which he came. Landing on his back, Burter and Piccolo got up to see what had happened.

(Ooc: Sorry Yaj, but I had something already made out. You can run in if you want, or grab the rest of the fighters.)

EVENT

"They went up here," Yajirobe told the group that reunited with him. He led them upstairs, towards the top of the tall, dead, building.

The five fighters stepped up to see the reptile and the two nameks about to duel with a vicious looking beast. Someone was in the background, in another room just on the outside of this one. Kami stepped forward, as if to join the frey.

"That's enough, Fido!" Came the familar voice. "Down, boy!"

The wolf let out a cry and ran into the next room.

Kami led the confused bunch of fighters after the wolf. The wolf was now sitting obediantly by it's Master, an old man who couldn't have been any less then seventy years old. The human, however, looked like he had been dead for quite some time. This zombie, however, wasn't attacking. They were in a lab, and the corpse just moved around, doing his scientific duties.

"I see you met Fido. Great watch dog, I must say. Took me years to get him running fully, though." The scientist didn't even look over at them.

"You made that thing?" Daimoun asked, amazed.

"Indeed. Quite sorry for the attack, but I don't want anybody hostile attacking my work. Was a test, you could say." He looked back at them. "Please, please, make yourself at home. Look around, but please, watch what you touch!"

(You're in the highest floor, complete with bedrooms and stuff for hospital staff. This is a laboratory, and the scientist, Dr. Flagg, is a zombie.)

Lifting himself onto one of the hospital beds, Piccolo laid his head on the pillow, something hard lay underneath the cotton filled cushion. Sitting up and lifting the cushion, the Namekian found a very old and dusty book with no title. Glancing around to make sure no one had noticed the commotion, Piccolo opened the book and began to read. There were only a few pages of text.

I once believed.

Others looked up to me for strength, for my faith was a pillar in the house of the Elders. I once believed in something greater than myself; I believed that the faithful would be rewarded and the evil would be punished.

I believed the Prophecies of the Final Day to be mere superstitions - and that even if they had any credence at all, as our ancestors believed, the events they spoke of would never come to fruition in our time.

I was a fool.

The gods have not revealed their divine plan to me, nor have they blessed me with their countenance. But I am certain of one terrible fact - At long last, the prophecies have begun to fulfill themselves.

First, there was Shrill...

Dabura, Lord of the Underworld, cast his shadow over the quiet hamlet and set his demonic minions loose across the countryside. A number of valiant heroes rose up to challenge Dabura's wrath and hunted the demonlord into the bowels of the earth itself. Only by the grace of the Light did they vanquish the demonic mortal host and put an end to his nefarious schemes.

It seemed that the Lord of the Underworld had been defeated, and my heart took solace in this affirmation of my faith...but alas, the nightmare was only beginning.

Somehow, Dabura's terrible spirit survived and took root within the very hero who struck him down. Wearing the guise of a mysterious boy, Dabura set out to destroy those that locked him up, unleashing an evil plague of demon?s upon the world.

Just as before, a new band of heroes arose to put a halt to Dabura's dark quest. Though the Lord of the Underworld succeeded in destroying his captures lives. The new mortal heroes managed to vanquish most of the demons and even hunted Dabura into the depths of hell.

Once again, it seemed justice had been served. Blind as I was, I clung to the path of the righteous - believing that perhaps, finally, all was well...that the nightmare had given way to a dream of peace.

But the plague of evil persists, and I...grow weary.

For now, the nightmare has started once again.

Dabura has resurfaced, and behind him marches the vast Army of Demons. He has gathered a legion of demons that revel in mayhem and wanton chaos - and they are headed right towards us...right toward the holy asteroid our ancestors swore to protect. It is obvious Dabura comes to assail our lands, seeking the his revenge. And my faith, once unwavering, is now shaken to the very core.

The prophecies that spoke of this day have at last come true. Doom has come to our world, but not as expected, the demon Dabura was different, he was not the normal being he once was, and I saw it, the reason. It was not the true Dabura, Lord of the Underworld, it was something else, something, worse.

As I have said, my brothers, I grow weary. I have no doubt that evil exists. I have seen it with my own eyes; I have seen its cruelty. But it is not cruel for the gods to give hope, only to dash that hope again and again?

In my youth, I tried as best I could to prepare for such an event. It was, at one time, the very reason for my existence. But now that the moment is in hand, I feel old. I fell afraid. I fell that I have lost my strength.

I confess that my faith no longer guides my path. It is with a heavy heart that I take my leave of you my brothers. I would say that I will pray for you, but I fear my prayers would fall on deaf ears.

May you someday find the truth, and may truth finally give you freedom.

Piccolo shook off the thought of such irony. An army of demons, asteroids, and a new being. All in all, it sounded like the Bio-Androids he had left on Earth. It was now time for Piccolo to leave this group of fighters, time for him to return to what he knew best, time to find the his lost partner.

Pressing a button on his cloaking device, Piccolo?s ki dropped instantly, vanishing from everyone?s mind. Quickly summoning his shapechanging technique, the Namekian transformed hastily into a cat and ran un-noticed from the room. Once outside of the room, the Namekian quickly regained his normal form and opened a nearby window. Leaping out of the window, Piccolo took to the air, flying into the distance, alone, in search of his android collaborator and together, they would survive the game.

OOC: This will kind of tie into the Bio-Android saga as well, once FoF II is over...

POST NUMBER 3 FOR ME! time to wait now...

Android Seventeen let out a low groan. The weakened android pushed up to his knees and tried to shake away the dizziness. The chamber he had plummeted into was not as dark as the base floor. Torches attached to sconces gave the room both a menacing and archaic appearance. Seventeen stood up, wobbling and nearly falling over before recovering his equilibrium.

?Feeling better Seventeen?? the cold voice pervaded the android?s ears and mind at the exact instance. The harsh, ghostly words sent a shiver down his spine. The machine-hybrid spun around to face his ethereal doppelganger. The apparition grinned malevolently as it glided across the damp stone floors toward the android. Android Seventeen backed away from the wraith because for the first time in his existence the cybernetic warrior was filled with dread. Soon the specter was floating right in front of Seventeen, basking the machine-hybrid in its disturbing presence.

?Intimidated?? the ghostlike double said. The words echoed inside Seventeen?s mind?the result was maddening. The machine-hybrid?s hands shot up to his ears in an attempt to block out the specter?s words. The apparition, noticing the weakness, began to cackle once again. Android Seventeen screamed in rage and swung; however, the android?s fists passed straight through the floating wraith. The ghost?s chorus of cackles ceased long enough for the apparition to speak yet again.

?You can?t harm me Seventeen,? the phantom spoke with a voice identical to the android, ?but I can certainly do this!? with his final comment, the ghost threw a palm forward and up into Seventeen?s sternum. The machine-hybrid screamed in pain and crumbled to his knees. The phantom dropped down to the android?s new level, and Seventeen realized half his ghostly double?s body had passed through the stone floor. Reaching its hands around, the ghoul seized the android?s head between its clammy hands. Android Seventeen freaked almost instantaneously, but his reaction was too late to stop whatever the ghoul had in mind because seconds later the apparition vanished. The machine-hybrid had only a few seconds of peace before his senses suddenly went dead. Seventeen, completely paralyzed and unresponsive, slumped forward lifelessly.

Android Seventeen regained awareness a split second later, but he suddenly realized that he was no longer in the basement of the decrepit hospital. The android was surrounded by endless shades of red. The different hues moved independently of one another, swirling and shifting without pause. Seventeen glanced around and tried to make sense of what had just occurred. However, nothing came to the baffled android as he gazed into the infinite sea of red. It seemed like an eternity before the cold words permeated the machine-hybrid?s mind once more.

?Wondering where you are?? the phantom?s voice came from behind the android. Seventeen turned hastily and felt the temperature plunge several degrees. His ghostly mirror image stood on two feet now, but it still filled the android with the same level of anxiety. Android Seventeen tried to back away, but his leg muscles betrayed him. The machine-hybrid glared back at his copy smugly. The cybernetic warrior was prepared to face whatever the ghost had in store for him.

?What the hell do you want with me?? the android asked as calmly as he could. Seventeen?s usually sarcasm was gone?replaced by the most serious tone he could muster. The apparition?s form just waved in the windless void, and then suddenly the ghost began to take a more corporeal appearance. Its gray skin and clothes took life and vibrant color right before Seventeen?s eyes. Seconds later, the former wraith now appeared to be a nearly flawless copy of the android; however, the differences at once became apparent. The machine-hybrid noticed the black blood vessels first. Each and every vein and artery was filled with black fluid. The facial veins were easily the most recognizable: even the whites of the phantom?s eyes had slight traces of black in them. The only further discrepancy was a deep laceration across the apparition?s throat. Fresh, black blood was still seeping through the poorly repaired wound.

?I am your future Seventeen,? the corporeal phantom said. His apparent copy?s words reverberated inside the android?s mind.

?That?s absurd!? the android retaliated forcefully, but the ghost remained collected and silent. There was a long moment of calm before the copy spoke again.

?I am what awaits you at the end of your path,? the ghost spoke, ?you must heed my warnings and turn away from the darkness in your soul before it consumes you. Otherwise?I am your fate,? the words no longer held any malice. The machine-hybrid?s mirror image seemed to be pleading now, but Android Seventeen did not intend to listen to any more of the ghost?s words.

?Leave me be!? Seventeen screamed, unleashing a blast of ki upon his supposed future self. The specter buckled under the energy, and then everything went black. When the darkness faded, the machine-hybrid awoke in the same chamber he had been in previously. Getting up from his knees, the android shook the experience from his head. The game he had been forced to participate in was beginning to wear thin on his nerves. Seventeen had expected some type of test or competition, but all he had endured was zombies and ghosts screwing with his brain. The cybernetic warrior floated up through the hole he had fallen though earlier. Now back in the completely black chamber, Seventeen unleashed a massive discharge of ki against the wall of the building. The aged brick crumbled away to reveal a placid night sky. As the android leaped into the air a final warning invaded his mind.

?Subdue the darkness,? the words were almost a whisper, but Seventeen could fully understand them all as they echoed for what seemed to be an eternity within his head. Shaking the specter?s hollow threats from his mind once again, the android sensed a ki signature moving nearby. The machine-hybrid rocketed toward the nearly immobile source of energy. Android Seventeen, speeding as quickly as he could, saw the cloaked figure calmly flying into the horizon. Recognizing the namekian, the cybernetic warrior shouted ahead and rejoiced when the namekian finally turned around. Catching up to Piccolo, the two warriors nodded to one another and were off once again?flying to whatever tribulations lay ahead of them.

Piccolo Daimaou was amazed at this mans genius. He had dozens of inventions scattered around, but the giant wolf had amazed him the most. Somehow, this doctor had managed to mix snake and wolf DNA to make a new creature, one that was fully functioning, and would show characteristics from each race. Like a wolf or dog, it was a loyal, and could be easily trained. But like a snake, it would shake its head back and forth in the midst of battle.

Daimaou was having fun talking with the brilliant scientist, Doctor Flagg. "How long did it take you to perfect your pet?"

"Oh, it took about five years and, technically, he's not perfect." Dr. Flagg didn't mind answering the questions at all.

"What do you mean? He seems to act fine." Piccolo returned, with a lost look on his face.

"Well, something strange happened," The doctor started to say, "We don't know what accounted for it, but this dog, well, as you've seen is giant."

"That certainly is strange," the jade Namekian returned, agreeing with the intelligent man.

"Yes it is. Do you have anything else to ask me?" The scientist asked in a polite fashion.

"Do you know where those zombies downstairs came from?" Daimaou asked, puzzled once more.

"Zombies? You?re joking right?" The professor replied, now giving the emerald educator the idea he was insane.

"No, I'm serious. There were tons of them downstairs. Truly, you know nothing of this?"

"No, I had no clue. That is strange, very strange indeed." The man replied, taken aback by the new information the Namekian warrior had fed to him. "Let me dwell on this, you can look around." Piccolo Daimaou nodded and turned away, finished with this conversation.

Staring around, he saw that the doctor was very interested in genetic research. Tubes were everywhere, filled with strange creatures. These creatures looked like various attempts at creating animals, yet they all had various imperfections. There were notes next to the tanks, explaining what happened to each one.

...A wolf mixed with a fish did not work out. The previous assumptions made that the wolfs lungs would take over were very wrong. Subject died of suffocation within moments of becoming alive.

...A wolf mixed with a jellyfish was a failure. I had hoped that with the right balance, I could give the wolf poisonous properties. But, strangely enough, the poison killed the wolf. At least this subject lasted slightly longer than my previous one.

The next tube was empty, and finally had some happy writing:

...I've finally done it! This creature has survived, and is working just fine. A wolf mixed with a cobra seemed to have been a balanced choice. Although this is by far my greatest achievement in this field yet, I can not say it has not had problems. For some reason, this subject has grown far beyond the mass and weight records for wolves. It is incredible, but I need to take this subject to a larger tube. While this subject is alive and functioning, more testing should be taken to find the cause for this strange growth.

Piccolo Daimaou was intrigued, and looked down the way for a new test subject, though he didn't think there would be one. Strangely enough, there was a door at the end of this hall. His curiosity being piqued, he walked over and opened it. Glancing in, he started to stare around. This room was very dark and dingy, and had a computer sitting to the far side of the room. A few monitors were connected to the tube, registering information and beeping periodically. The Namekian warrior glanced at the tube. He almost screamed about what he saw in the tube in front of him. The jade Namekian said the name aloud, but was afraid to give it to much strength.

"Hexx..." The Namekian voiced into the still air. "But, how could he live? Gokua and I obliterated him..." He saw in the tube his adversary starting to stir. He opened his eyes, and stared straight at Daimaou. It took him a second, but he realized what he was seeing. Enraged, bubbles started spewing from his mouth. A shrill alarm went off in the dark room. Doctor Flagg came running in, remarkably fast for a zombie.

"What happened?" the scientist yelled out, glancing around at the alarms, and the now twitching Hexx.

"He knows me." Piccolo said to the doctor in a smart-assy way. The doctor went to the computer, and tapped out a command into it expertly. A beep of confirmation went off, and Hexx slowly stopped screaming. His eyes drooped, and he fell back into his artificial sleep.

The doctor wiped his forehead. "Wow...that could have been worse. Now, how does my son know you?"

"Well...we go way back, he recruited me for a race, then tried to kill me. Then he captured me, and tried to kill me. Then I tried to mistake, and as you can guess, he tried to kill me." Piccolo said, sarcasm strongly dripping off his words as he said them to the zombie scientist, who just shook his head.

"Idiot boy...why did he have to be so vengeful?" Flagg asked rhetorically, staring around.

"How did you revive him, sorry to say, but I pretty much took care of him..."
Piccolo said slowly, keeping his head down, and not trying to offend the scientist who had taken his group in.

"Don't be sorry, I don't think you wrong for defending yourself." The doctor said reassuringly, wiping away any guilt Daimaou might have had. "I heard what had happened, and took a few cells from my sons...half-liquefied corpse." The doctor told Piccolo, who smiled uneasily at these last words. "I cloned him in the hopes I could make him helpful to society, not a burden."

"Okay...thank you." Piccolo said, shaken slightly from meeting his nemesis. "I'm going to lie down, it's been a long day."

"In that case, don't hurry back." The doctor said, maintaining his polite image.

Kami stood calmly in the room, simply observing. The zombie "doctor" had been talking with Piccolo Diamoun, the giant wolf snake hybrid was resting behind a chair. Piccolo had wandered off somewhere and the rest of them were looking around this bizzare looking medical room. The elder Namek was intent on finding the clue they were sent here to get, and then getting the hell out. That would lead him one step closer to winning, one step closer to Brim and a chance for a little payback.

Nothing was happening in the room, nothing of interest to the ultra Namek. It couldn't be more boring yet the place was so strange one couldn't help but look around. Kami finally wandered over to the doctor and gave him a tap on what he assumed was his shoulder. The doctor spun around and gazed at Kami for a moment before speaking.

"Yes?" he said, his voice raspy with years of decay. Kami held out the map yet said nothing. The doctor looked down at it, then back at the Namek. "This appears to be the hospital which we currently reside in." he said. Kami then pointed to a large 'X' on the map.

"Where is this?" he said, his voice solid as a rock. The doctor took the map and wandered around the room. He took a few steps in one direction, and then a few more in another. Finally he came up to a large medical cabinet. He waved Kami over and handed him back the map. "Help me push this." he said, and pointed to one side. Kami gave a good hard push and the cabinet slid across the floor. The doctor was suprised by the old man's strength, but only said anything about it through the expression on his face.

Behind the cabinet was a doorway, which led to a dimly lit hallway that expanded up and hid a giant metal door. "That is where the map is telling you to go. I can open the door for you, but fearing for myself I must close the door behind you. I will be here to open it again for you, but again, I caution you. I would not go in there myself, many a thing I wish to not ponder may reside on the other side of that door. I will open it, but I will remain here."

Kami waved everyone over to the hidden doorway. "The map says this way." He pointed to the door and entered the passage...

Goku had been staring out the solitary window in the dank laboratory. That time, so long ago, kept playing through his mind's eye like a movie skipping over the same scene. He was so sure it was all over, that his strength, and all of the sacrifices, had at least not been in vain. He could still hear the screams, the splatter of innocent blood, bodies torn apart for no other reason than for entertainment. This place, that ugly, compassionless emerald face... he thought it would be buried with all of the valiant fighters that fell...

"No," Brim whispered, "No...NOO!" Akira shot down towards hiim...into certain death. Her fiery figure began to freeze over quicker then normal, using all her energy.....to this one....blast....

Goku saw it all happen so fast. Brim shot a blast, slamming through Akira's belly and leaving a blood, gaping hole. But as she felt the effects, she shot a blast out, but not an energy blast.

The only thing that could stop this monster.

An ice blast.

"Akira!" Goku shouted as she dropped to the ground, not dead but passed out. Brim stood in his place. His head was the only thing not frozen. Goku rushed towards him as the now two armies moved around the two figures.

The army surrounded them. The general nodded to Goku, who nodded back.

Brim looked on, helplessly, as Goku moved forward to the frozen monster.

"Too much death," he whispered, "Brim...all this death because of your ratings. You want ratings? I'll tell you a secret..."

He never changed his expression as Brim watched, starting to crack the ice....almost....free...

"The reason the fans love action shows.......the good guys always win."

And with that, before Brim could break free, he kicked the middle of the icy form, right on the side, at his hips. It broke apart, breaking the monster in two.

"NO.....NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

But that was it. That quick, the two peices of the frozen figure landed. Brim was banished, and killed. He was strong...but he was outsmarted.

Goku spat on his form and said one sentence.

"How's that for your fucking ratings?"

"Goku...?" a familar voice penetrated Goku's thick, heavyset thoughts. The saiyan had his eyes firmly shut, and his brow angled inward. The declaration of his name caused him to snap his eyes open, unaware that he had been so lost in his memories.

"Are you all right?" Kami enquired, placing an emerald hand on his shoulder.

"Uh... yeah, I'm OK," Goku responded, convincing himself more than his old friend. "I've... just got a headache."

"Well shake it off," he replied, pointing to the dark corridor. "We're going exploring in the dark."

"My favourite kind of exploring," Goku answered sarcastically, following the Ultra Namekian towards the hidden chamber. The father of Gohan noticed that one of the other Nameks was no longer with the group, and the raven haired man who gave off no ki signature had also vanished. It was of little consequence to him though; he didn't know them, and had no attachment to them. The remainder of the group followed the self appointed leader into the dark hallway.

The random assortment of warriors reached the end of the dimly lit tunnel, being blocked off by a large, metal door.

"The old guy said he'd come and open this for us," Kami informed the group.

"If being old is the only prerequisite for opening the door, I don't see why you can't do it," Goku said cheekily with a huge grin.

"That the best you've got?" Kami responded with playful mocking.

"I... uhm... oh crap," Goku resigned, his wits failing him. The decrepid professor zombie strolled through the ragtag collection of fighters and pressed against the large steel door. It opened slowly, its hinges creaking like it hadn't been used in many, many years. Inside, there was zero visibility. The darkness absorbed everything it touched.

Goku reached into his pocket and retrieved his faithful scouter, fixing it to the right side of his face. It immediately booted up on connection with Goku's head. The saiyan set up the scouter to detect not only any unusual ki fluctuations but to sense any movement in the pitch black darkness. The green screen acted weakly as night vision, but Goku could only make out the faintest hint of walls, and even then he only saw it through one eye.

"Quickly, inside!" Dr. Flagg ordered hastily, hurrying in the group within the unknown darkness. He was obviously anxious about the new entrance to his laboratory and wished to seal it as soon as possible. Goku, Kami, Burter, Piccolo Daimaou, Furiza and Yajirobe heard the loud clank of the metallic door slam into place, with a muffled command from the zombie professor through the thick steel:

"When you're ready to come out, knock on the door and I'll open it for you."

"So, what now?" Yajirobe asked the group, standing in darkness. Kami opened his hand and formed a ki ball in it, washing a small amount of light over himself and the warriors standing beside him. The Ultra Namek handed the map to Burter, who opened it for him while they studied the map with the light from Kami's energy.

"That way looks good as any," Furiza stated, pointing into darkness.

Burter rolled up the map and Kami took lead of the group, his light acting like a beacon in the dark as they traversed into the hidden hideaway.

END OF ROUND

The tunnel had come to an end about a half an hour of walking later. They were back at the wastelands, climbing out of a hole in the ground. A campsite was right in front of them, which clued them into somebody that had to be nearby.

"The fire is still burning," Furiza noted. He stepped forward, overlooking the tent.

Without warning, a gun fired from the left. When it collided with Furiza, his body literally exploded.

"Sorry about that," came a voice from the gun direction. A robotic figure came into view. "I don't like changlings."
